DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I recently ordered an Ironkey S200 8G Personal flash drive. I was sent the S100 model. When I called about returning it for the right product, I was told that it was not their fault. After clarifying the problem with one of their techs,and realizing that it was their mistake, they offered a refund but no exchange. I was told that they did not have the model that I ordered. Upon returning the product, it took four days for them to credit my account and that's after I called and raised a stink. When I finally received my refund, it was only a partial refund. Buyer beware. Shop elsewhere!

Ordered a videocard, order went through successfully they even called me because my CC info had changed recently and confirmed to me that the charge was successful and that my order would be shipped.I never called them THEY CALLED ME to confirm. Received two confirmation emails. 8 hours later the item is out of stock and they cant send me one. Well that doesnt really help me when I ordered two day shipping so I could build my computer this weekend. Thanks for the horrible experience Mwave. Beware! Order an Intel X25-M g2 80gb ssd from mwave. Prior to buying, I've sent plenty of emails asking whether it is a retail version. Their salesman said it was and I even paid priority shipping.
After paying the first invoice, they cancelled my order claiming they charged me 10 dollars less. I can understand this and paid for a new invoice eventhough it meant that I would receive the product later.
When the product arrived, it was an oem version, lacking the 3.5-5inch bracket, and there were scratches and stains on the back of the product.
After contacting their unhelpful customer support, I was told that they would only refund the product price and not the shipping cost since I'm in Australia. I've paid 60 dollars for priority since I needed the product before 28th of Oct as I was going overseas. Furthermore, to send the product back would cost me atleast 20-40 aus dollars. I've even stated that I was willing to accept a partial refund for a scratched,stain and a product missing the retail parts (retail comes with bracket etc), since it is too late to buy a new one.
At that point of time, another seller was selling a retail version (he guaranteed it and even provided pictures) but I chosed mwave thinking that its a bigger company and would have better customer support. Right now, I've another 4-5 days before I leave Australia on a tour.
Customer support was very unhelpful and extremely slow. The person in charge would only reply 1-2 emails every working day even though she knew I was running out of time, and when I used the company's live chat, they claim that they wont handle the issue there and i'll just have to wait for their reply.
If you are going to suggest a full refund, please understand this.
-A full refund of the product is a waste of my money because I've already paid 60usd for shipping and I've to still pay for shipping it back to USA.
-Right now, by the time I send the product back to USA and get the money back in the back, it would be too late to purchase a new product from another buyer.
- Are you willing to do a replacement and mail it to an address in Singapore since I will not be in Australia at that time? or do a fair partial refund (this idea was suggested on an online forum when I asked them for help since mwave's customer service refused to even help). Buyer beware. God forbid if you need to do an RMA with these guys, prepare to be scammed. Very Dishonest and unhelpful Customer Service. I was promised FULL REFUND when they didnt have a replacement in stock and then after 2 weeks of "processing" the refund, they only did partial refund and told me they could not replicate the defect !! in otherwords, they say i was lying. Why would i ship it back on my own expense for an exchange if there was no problem? All this when i had already explained to tech support the whole situation before sending it in. I had purchased a brand new netbook that was acting up within the first day or two (would not turn on a full battery charge). After about 2 days of not turning on, it decides to start working on battery again. Clearly i was not going to keep this lest this happen in future. I already informed them that it was not working earlier but now it is, and that is a sign of trouble. They agreed to the exchange, then agreed to full refund when they couldnt replace it due to no stock, and then they sneakily do a partial refund only. I hate DISHONEST sellers and this store is one of those. I went ahead and filed fraud charges with credit-card company.

Upon receipt of your return, we did test the product for a period of 2 days, and were unable to duplicate the problem described. It is our standard policy to test all defective returns for refund, as the manufacturer will assess a fee for non-defective returns. A 15% restocking fee was applied, since we were unable to duplicate the problem. We had no intention to be sneaky or deceitful in any way, and we do mention in our refund policy that we will apply a restocking fee for any non-defective returns for refund.
In any case your business is very important to us, and we do understand that sometimes exceptions need to be made under unique circumstances. I am very disappointed with my purchase.The package containing the netbook was torn and beat up looking. I was very nervous about what was going to be inside the battered package.Well, what was inside was a "used" but certainly NOT refurbished product, not to mention that the color was blue not black, as ordered.The exterior shell looked very "used" and is actually scratched and scuffed. Worse than that, the screen has obvious signs of improper wiping and even a small scratch.The packaging of the cords and other extra items looked like they were thrown in the box after someone said it was operating okay and said "ship it out" I have purchased over a dozen refurbished electronic items including 2 netbooks and 3 laptops. They all arrived looking like they were professionally refurbed.This netbook just should not have been considered refurbished. I feel like I bought it for $100 on ebay from a liquidator that has a no return "as is" sale.I do not mind paying for what is offered but this is not acceptable!I have sent an email to Mwave services describing my disappointment. Can you help me?

Unfortunately our refurbished products are subject to blemishes and imperfections. They are not brand new products and they are not in brand new condition, which is why they are marked at significantly reduced prices. The Refablished LCD monitor is so bad: package is so simple, screen is yellow, there are spots on the screen, also dead pixels,no instructions included, i think i will not buy things on mwave.com again!!

Over the past year, I have ordered four hard drives from mwave.com. Two have arrived on time, and in perfect condition. Two have arrived on time, but non-functional. I find a 50% failure rate to be unacceptable from a tech retailer. Also unacceptable is their refusal to refund shipping costs for non-functioning goods, and their disinterested, uncommunicative customer service. A highly unreliable vendor, and not recommended.

this is worst service i ever have with any online company,bought a netbook was defective,pay for the shipping ship to back,then they got the netbook back confirm it was defective,they won't refund my original shipping,so i lost $25.00 plus lots phone call for no netbook,buyer beware

I ordered a Lian Li Black pc-a70b off ebay and paid immediately. After a few days they refunded my money and told me the item was the wrong price. According to Ebay, they are supposed to honor the price we agreed upon. I have taken steps to report them to Ebay and also the BBB. I do not recommend them to anyone, they are cheats. Why should I be penalized for their incompetant mistake? We entered into an agreement and they want to renig. I will be leaving negative feedback after 7 days.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT trust this company or their Ebay store "Tech Treasure."

Very slow. Inventory not live, will sell something they don't have in stock. Purchased from them via mwave.com; on back-order 3 times before item arrived. Took over 3 weeks to receive. Back-order email sent 2-3 days after placing order). Do NOT look forward to doing business with them again.

I've ordered Seagate 1.5tb hard disk for $90 + $8 s/h. The delivery was fast but when i've opened the box it has Seagate 1tb. I've contacted customer service and receive a quick respond suggesting to return the item. On my question who's going to pay for the shipping after some mail exchanges I've received an UPS label. A week later a refund came but it was only for $90 and not for the shipping and handling. I've essentially has paid for their mistake.

Terrible. Never deal with this company.
The defective computer was sent back to them before 12/15 days. Till today they have not shipped the new one. Have sent many e mails requesting to send the computer. They don't care even to acknowledge the e mails.
The really bad experience. Not worthwile to talk to them on phone. Customer service is not polite and they don't want to help.

Absolutely terrible place to do business. I got an offer for $10 off in an email, so I thought why not... their prices seemed competitve to Newegg. I found a monitor that I was on sale and used the $10 off coupon and got a really good deal, but that's where the fun ended.
I live in an apartment and am at work during the day. I specifically requested that the monitor be shipped to my workplace, since I would be using this for work. I ship most things I order on the internet to my work because i'm there all day. After I received the order confirmation, 2.5 days later I receive an email from processing@mwave.com that my card has been charged, but they refused to ship out the monitor because my workplace is not an authorized shipping location... (i've NEVER had any trouble before). The email says to call them and have it authorized. So I did and the my CC company says the charge was already authorized and charged and they have no idea what Mwave is talking about. So I try to call them. Immediately someone answers the phone and puts me on hold. 20 minutes later I hung up cause I actually had work to do and don't have time to sit there waiting for someone to finally pick up the phone. So I fire off an email response saying that the CC has already authorized this transaction. I get a response the next day saying almost exactly the same thing as before except for one tiny little thing. Now keep in mind their emails don't look professional, are just one big long stream of text, and are not signed by anyone. In this email, it says that I can fax the front and back of my CC, my drivers license, and signature to some random 909 area code number. I work in IT and deal with identity fraud almost everyday. This threw up red flags to me like crazy. I finally just sent an email saying to deliver to my apartment (inconvenient for me because I have to make it home before the office closes at 6pm) in which they finally sent a shipping notification email.
Ok, so I wait for the monitor to come and pick it up from the office. No seals on the box, no tape, no nothing. It looked like it may have been opened before. Take it to work the next day and it's missing the base! I quickly send an email to customer service asking if they can send a base for this monitor.
I never receive a response. I thought well I guess I might as well see if the monitor actually works... There's 10 stuck/dead pixels! Ugh.
Being very tired of this whole ordeal I send for RMA, which I VERY quickly receive in my email. Seems like that process is fairly streamlined. I sent the unit out (at my cost) and asked for a full refund. Not too much to ask considering the ordeal so far. I never receieve a response to that email either. I look in my account today and what do I see? A refund minus shipping costs... So, all in all i'm out 2 weeks, $27 in shipping, and still have no monitor.
Let this be a lesson learned... not all companies are the same and I would have never had to deal with this kind of lack of customer service or quality had I gone with someone more reputable like Newegg or even someone on eBay! I will NEVER do business with this company again and hope that this letter serves as a warning to all those looking to buy from this seller.

In regard to the processing of your order, the order was placed on Saturday, and therefore was not processed until Monday. However we did have difficulty verifying your shipping address with the credit card company. Unfortunately if shipping to an address other than your billing, we do require you to add this address with the credit card company as mentioned on our web site. Sending a fax authorization is another method that we accept. The additional verification helps prevent the fraudulent usage of credit cards. We do apologize if this was not communicated well, and we will review your feedback with our processing department to make any needed improvements.
As far as the monitor, we absolutely agree that a full refund is in order. Our service department has issued the remaining credit to your account on file. company advertises products that it dosent have . this is happened many times! never have anything w free shipping .only good deals were refurbs.w no warranty etc etc good bye m wave .R.I.P.company says nothing about only one left it says limit one whitch is what i wanted i see what you have to do is call to verify if product is in stock first. wheather it is new or refurbished because they make a habit of doing this so take youre bribe money and donate it to charity i will not do business with you anymore because youre trying to defend sorry business practices and i will not let you get away with it .one other thing i see you reply to these complaints with lighting speed .??? Unfortunately as mentioned on our web site, each clearance item is usually available in very small quantities, sometimes only 1 piece. These items tend to sell very quickly. They are processed on a first come first serve basis, and not deducted from stock until the payment is verified. Therefore if multiple orders come in very close to one another, the first approved order(s) will be accepted. Due to the nature of these items, it is very difficult to prevent stock from being discontinued without notice. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I absolutely do not recommend this bunch. They wasted my time.
They sell on eBay. I saw an item, OCZ 16gb SDHC cards. I sent an e-mail asking if they had the item. They replied the were out but more arriving on May 22nd. I ordered and paid for two of tem. I got an e-mail on May 10 telling me that they had shipped the item. Today, May 11 they sent me another e-mail telling me that they don't have the item and won't be getting it. They said they are refunding my money.
