The first unit I purchaed from Wintergreen last May 03  
was defective.I chose to upgrade and get a full refund  
credit towards the new unit. The new unit arrived with  
missing parts (no modem) and wrong RAM chip.I returned it this week 10/27/03 and being promised a full  
unit set up in the manner of my original order. I found the staff willing to help and responsive to my complaint  
and I will wait to see the final results when I get the unit back. Because of my experience thus far with this company next time I need computer hardware I will look  
elsewhere.

Purchased an AMD D1.1 20GB from these guys with a hard drive that went bad after 12 hours. They sent me another one that was also bad. Finally just bought a Seagate on my own that works. Avoid them.

I purchased a Wintergeen Systems AMD System through TigerDirect. It was received promptly and in good shape. I hade a problem with the mouse and the system CD. I contacted them by e-mail and received replace quickly with no problem. I did Not have good luch wit the Londows operating System. It hase been over a month and I still don't have the operating systen working satisfactorly. The hardware was a good buy and is operating great with Windows 98SE.

Desk top computer has been nothing but problems.  
Techincal support is deplorable  
Securing parts to effect repairs is the worst  
Do not buy from this merchant!

I see why so many of these reviews are bad. I purchased a system from them through TigerDirect a year ago, and have been having problems with it ever since. I can't upload anything, it continually freezes. I sent it to them to repair twice, the first time it came back worse than when i sent it in. It didn't take long for it to start acting up after the second "repair". I think they are a bunch of rip offs. NO ONE SHOULD BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. EVER!!
