I paid $166 to Amazon and a third party (7/14/2009) for a computer processor. I am still waiting (08/04/2009). Amazon does NOT intervene on the customer's behalf nor the seller's. That's crap...the third party is on YOUR website...OMG! I have to wait until 08/08/2009 before I can even file for a refund. The seller has yet to contact me. If you shop @ AMAZON.COM you are taking a risk of having no communication once you have sent your $$$$. How can a company, DIRECT BUY USA, not contact a customer that has dropped $$ at YOUR store?!?!? If you love your money like I like My money...AVOID AMAZON @ all costs!!!!!

Order placed on July 24th. They didn't ship until July 29th even though the item was in stock. I didn't get it until August 4th. That's 11 days ... Free shipping or not, they suck. I'll use New Egg next time.

I was always a big fan of Amazon, I like shopping on amazon because the way they handle customer service and item listing is very quick. I usually check for current price of item and then look for reviews on Amazon, to find about a required item, then only proceed. Most of the time I found it on Amazon for best price.

the best online seller, PERIOD. i buy everything from books to computer components to socks at amazon. i've been a very heavy user of amazon for many years, and their execution is amazingly good.  
 
highlights: (1) their ordering procedure is very streamlined. much less cumbersome than the typical online seller. (2) "Amazon Prime" is great for frequent buyers. i spend LESS on shipping than i did before they introduced it, and my orders arrive more quickly. they get a LOT more business from me since they introduced Amazon Prime. (3) their customer reviews are a very helpful shopping tool.  

Ordered the "Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive - Black" from Amazon. Product was delivered the next day.  
 
I had opted for the Amazon Prime subsciption which offered quicker deliveries for cheaper. However I have cancelled my prime subscription now, as its not worth the £50 extra spend per annum.

Usually a good vendor ... not this time. Informed me that their third-party vendor did not acknowledge my order. I placed the order a second time and was double shipped. Have not been able to resolve the problem in over a week.

Great customer service. I ordered 4 movies and three shipped in one box and made it to me, the other movie used A1 International shipping, which wasnt able to find my house and returned it to amazon. According to amazon, they wont reship a returned packages, so I was left to order it again. I called customer service because the movie price went up by $10 and didnt want to pay that. They gave me a credit on my account to make up the difference in price and shipping so I could reorder it at the same price I wanted to pay. Thats all I was looking for, to be able to get what I ordered at the price I ordered it at. Thanks

Just made another order for printer ink. If this turns out like all my other orders it will be a pleasure to continue doing business with Amazon. I always get my order sooner than estimated and it's always correct. Amazon is the granddaddy of all online retailers and it shows.

I order from here often. So far, I love the deals and im lucky to deal with sellers that ship the products quick.

ordered photo eqipment , price went up while msde was is shopping cart (not happy )paid extra for next day delivery & it showed up the next day in good shape--- I went back to the site to order more equip. but the site would cause my computer to lock up, tried another computer & it also locked up , I don't know what caused this but I worry when sites screw up my computer

Ordered another Linksys router and surge protector, shipped quickly and the prices were great. No problems here.

Great experience. Very smooth communication. Will shop from them again.
