Product received on time. It's in a sealed box. but here is what my suspision is, I think amazon sales previously returned murchandise as brand new product. I bought a ladder and it was horribly scratch up in one side, there was no reason for it to be scratched unltss somebody took it out of the box. the camera I bought looked like used even thought it came out of a sealed box (may not be factory sealed. Is it possible they buy products from vendor in bulk that was previously returned.

Free shipping at a cost! After I placed this order for an auto bluetooth phone system, I found it would not ship until eight days later (13 Oct 09) and I would receive it sometime between 20 and 28 Oct. About three weeks from the date of my order! But I saved $5.26 shipping charge! I was not happy. Today, I tried to cancel the order but found that the product was in the process of being shipped and the order could not be cancelled. I also was unable to find a telephone number or means of emailing them to cancel the order. So, I guess I am stuck with waiting more than two weeks for it to arrive. Yes, this was my stupidity for not knowing that they had this long and unreasonable shipping policy. This is my last order with Amazon.com. Maybe I can give a good rating to the product once I receive it...if I live that long. I am 74 years old (sob!).  
 
I received an email from Amazon.com since I wrote the above yesterday. They informed me that my purchase would be delivered on 13 October. This is a pleasant surprised.  
 
Ok, my final update. The order arrived much sooner than 13 October. I think it was two days after my last comment above. I am very happy with them and forgive them for their "sins." (g). I will change my rating to a more positive one.

I purchased a couple of BD Safe Clips from the Diabetes AndMore storefront on Amazon.  
 
Ordered 9/24, shipped 9/29, delivered 10/3, received it 10/5.  
 
Shipping was a significant portion of the cost, but overall it was cheap enough. For a small and cheap item like this, normally I'd buy it locally, but no place local had it.

Amazon represented that it had 2 items in stock so I ordered the 2 items. Amazon notified me by email that it only shipped 1 of the items. I upgraded to paid standard shipping, from the free version offered, which Amazon listed as taking 3 to 5 business days. Now Amazon has sent me notice that the 1 it shipped will not arrive until October 13. Not only is that just 1 on the 2 items ordered, it is also now 7 business days until expected delivery, which is probably what I would have gotten using the free ship. Misrepresentation across the board on this one. Stay away from Amazon if reliability and service are important.

special ordered a region2 dvd set from the uk site. whiel packaging could have been slightly better they are a quick shipper and always seem to have the stock available. Recievd faster than some us sources in fact. highly recommend

I refuse to do business with Amazon.com again.  
Amazon used to be good, but now they ship all of their customer service jobs OVERSEAS to people who can hardly speak English. Also, Amazon intentionally misleads customers regarding shipping times. I paid extra for expedited shipping, and products I ordered from other sites after the Amazon order, for which I opted for regular shipping all arrived sooner than my Amazon order, and they were from the opposite side of the country. The Amazon order was from the same state. When I called I was told by idiot # 1, and idiot # 1's supervisor: "I'm very sorry you feel that way sir, but that is our policy." It sounded as if they were reading from a Xerox copy, because they BOTH said almost the same things word for word as the other did.  
It is clear to me that Amazon.com believes they are invincible. They are WRONG!  
From now on, if I find a product on Amazon.com that I want to buy, I will go directly to the seller's website, and then only after I check with Reseller Ratings first.

I have been a devout customer of Amazon.com for over 10 years now. I've never had a single issue when placing an order with this company. Dec. 31, 1999 at 11:45pm I placed several books into my cart with intentions of ordering them at midnight just to debunk the Y2K threat. I received my order in less than a week. You can't go wrong with their pricing but I have started to think less of their "free shipping" over the past few years. It's not near as timely as it originally was and the use of USPS as a carrier leaves you with nearly useless tracking info. If you want your order within the week, free shipping might not be a wise choice. Otherwise, all orders have always arrived, free shipping or paid shipping.

I attempted to cancel an order for a TV because I decided I would like a larger set which I was also going to order from Amazon. There return service is a joke. I canceled the order after it had just made it out of your warehouse and was waiting to be shipped at another warehouse to my location. They shipped the order the rest of the way anyways and made it to my location on the 11th. 7 days now and my TV still hasn't even been shipped back to them and I can't get a refund until they get it back. I shipped the other part of the order back and they received it on the 11th. 7 days they have had my returned blu-ray player and still no indication of a refund yet. I canceled on the 8th of September and the best their CSR can tell me is that the earliest they can help is on the 8th of October an entire month later. I'm severely disappointed with my service for this order. This may be the last transaction I make with Amazon. It's really unfortunate but Amazon is becoming more out of touch with consumer care, their shipping times are terrible and there customer service is terrible (their CSRs are nice enough it's their policies that are abhorring).  
 
Update: My order was fully refunded to my account on the 25th, 2.5 weeks after I canceled the order.
