I paid $166 to Amazon and a third party (7/14/2009) for a computer processor. I am still waiting (08/04/2009). Amazon does NOT intervene on the customer's behalf nor the seller's. That's crap...the third party is on YOUR website...OMG! I have to wait until 08/08/2009 before I can even file for a refund. The seller has yet to contact me. If you shop @ AMAZON.COM you are taking a risk of having no communication once you have sent your $$$$. How can a company, DIRECT BUY USA, not contact a customer that has dropped $$ at YOUR store?!?!? If you love your money like I like My money...AVOID AMAZON @ all costs!!!!!

Order placed on July 24th. They didn't ship until July 29th even though the item was in stock. I didn't get it until August 4th. That's 11 days ... Free shipping or not, they suck. I'll use New Egg next time.

I placed an order for a watch for my girlfriend through amazon. She didn't like it and so I ended up returning it. Since it was sold by Macy's (through Amazon), I was instructed to return it to Macy's which I did although I gave my money to Amazon.  
 
Once Macy's confirmed the return, I contacted Amazon for a refund and was told that I need to talk to Macy's. I did that and they promptly sent me back to Amazon (which makes sense as Macy's did not have my credit card info).  
 
In this back and forth game, more than 90 days passed and then Amazon refused to help. So they took my money and I got nothing for it. All emails to Amazon after the 90 days went un-replied.  
 
Bunch of thieves. NEVER EVER SHOP THROUGH AMAZON. Even if they give a good deal, DON'T RISK YOUR MONEY!!!

I ordered the OCZ Illuminati keyboard.I looked for it on my normally used Etailers but most of them carried the Logisys version which had a few differnces but same design,Other etailers I trust were out of stock and back ordered to long for me to consider waiting.  
 
I have never heard anything good about shopping through or from Amazon.com but I am blown away at the fact that I have not shopped here sooner.  
Not only was the price very comparable to my regular Etailers but the shipping was free if you chose the 5-8 day shipping.  
 
Now that is a long time for me to wait especially since my ship date was not supposed to be until June 29th then I would have had to wait 5-8 business days.  
 
Well 2 days later from the nigth I ordered my keyboard was here via UPS,Very pleasing experience.  
 
Same happened when my wife 2 weeks ago ordered a book for college same free shipping and it arrived in 2 days as well.

One gripe...Please package more carefully.My package arrived with the tape all lose and all that was inside as padding was bunched up brown paper.  
 
My product box was undamaged and my product so far works Flawlessly.  
 
Once again I am now an Amazon.com customer for life and will now include them in my places to compare prices and order from.

Amazon is definitely THE first place I look into when I need to look for anything online in the past 2 years. I got everything from electronics (high-end D-SLR, HD LCD TV), books, musics, toys, baby stuffs, etc. The store offers not only the best price on many items, as-is brand-name products but also has best return policy: 30 day guaranteed return, free returned postage is easily printed out right from computer. And if you apply for a Prime membership ($79/year and could share up with 4 other members), all my purchases are shipped free within 2 days.  
 
One more thing, Amazon also does its own price matching, for instance, if the item is sold at cheaper price than when you bought it within 30 days, it will credit the difference.  
 
Highly recommended.

I've shopped with Amazon more times than I can count. I've always had a great experience and never had a complaint.

Everything was perfect. Ordered a big tv. It was delivered, carried in, and setup by two people as promised. Very happy with service.

I probably have bought hundreds of products from them and spent thousands of dollars. IMO; Amazon is the best online company, period! I will keep ordering from them as long as they are in business and as long as I live. One recent thing that made me upset was that they stopped "price adjustment" but still, they are the best.

I found an elusive book on Amazon that I have been searching for a long time. I was delighted to find it on Amazon marketplace and received a very good service. The book was delivered quickly without any problems. I will definitely be using Amazon again.

Amazon is my reason for never going to B&M stores. I have been a long time Amazon Prime user (free 2 day shipping on all orders from Amazon), because of which, I purchase everything possible from them. I easily receive 1-3 packages every week from Amazon, and have spent thousands of dollars with this company. Could not recommend them more.
