Over the years, I have ordered many items from Amazon (books, software, small household appliances, etc.) and I thought that it was time for a review.  
 
My most recent purchase of 2 Peerless TV wall mounts was typical of my experience with Amazon. Amazon had this item in stock at a good price. I placed the order and received an immediate confirmation and the shipping tracking number was sent later that day. My shipment arrived in great shape on the promised delivery date. What more can you ask for?  
 
I am surprised about the problems some reviewers had with Amazon customer service. Last year I had to deal with Amazon customer service regarding a rebate. Their customer service folks took care of my issue in a courteous and professional manner. Two years ago I returned a book and again received no-hassle service from Amazon.  
 
Overall, I have had a consistently good experience with Amazon.

my company bought a toner for panasonic fax machine. I bought it at Amazon marketplace. It was OK, delivery was OK. One thing, Amazon is selling products directly and taking commission from other small sellers, too.

I really enjoy shopping at Amazon , they can get anything you want. I often go to their site to compare prices and to read the reviews. I would also like to say thanks for their marketing - R&D departments , they really try to build your profile and offer you products they think you would enjoy (grin) and even though they haven't quite got it dialed in it at least shows they are trying. For that they get an extra point or two , I always feel safe doing business with them.

I have used amazon.com for a number of years, and have had their prime membership for 3 or 4 years now. I have been happy with their service and prices. The prime mebership is a great deal if you buy a lot of things on line. I live out in the country a little, so most stores are 10-20 miles away. I find in much easier to order even little things on line (like batteries, pens, coffee) through amazon and get the free 2 day shipping with my prime membership. My wife and I have made probably 100-200 purchases through amazon and never had any problems.

Amazon is my go-to spot for everything. I have their prime membership and it's worth every penny. Whenever I have had a problem with an order, it was always UPS's fault but Amazon was willing to re-send the item anyway.  
 
One downside is I don't often see Lightning Deals I like. I've only bought one all year.

Amazon is the next to New Egg alternative E-shopping place for me. They also are Very Good at satisfying a customer w/price and service. I have a very good shopping experience w/both. Amazon has resolved any bump that has arisen in a very satisfactory manner.

I ordered a huge plasma tv, blu-ray player and receiver from amazon, for almost $1000 dollars less than just the tv at best buy. Incredible. Shipping was on time and all items arrived in perfect condition. What else can you ask for?

I purchased a Tilt Adjustable HDTV, LCD, Plasma, Wall Mount Bracket for 30"-63" TV's from "MERITLINE.COM".  
 
PROS: A great price. A very nice product. A nice thick guage of metal, a nice arangement of mounting holes in the bracklet, to accomadte the varring stud centers in the walls, and the best part, it comes with evrything you need to mount it to any solid surface for secure support. Also; it came with FREE 15 Feet HDMI v1.3b Male to Male Cable, Category 2 Certified, 28AWG Cable.  
CONS: 1) The supplied and intergrated level is not accurate. Had to use my own level to properly level the bracket. Not a big deal, unless you had already mounted it, using the supplied level, put your TV on it and stood back and seen that it is crooked. 2) The bracket should be 2 inches longer to anchor it at both ends to 16" center studs. However, like I said before, the thick guage of the bracket is such that this is not a nesessity but would be nice for that added touch of security.

Amazon is great. Every year I do thousands of dollars in purchases with them. Never once have I had a bad experience. I have screwed up my fair share of orders (accidentally ordering DVD instead of Blu-Ray, etc.) and they are great to work with. I look forward to shopping at Amazon, they are a great company.

I love Amazon.com. I shop there almost weekly. I always check to see if they have a better price when I buy online. I have a Prime membership that has saved me so much on shipping costs. Their prices beat everyone 4 out of 5 times.

I made many purchases from Amazon (both through the "Sold and shipped by Amazon.com" and through the Amazon marketplace with other Amazon-listed vendors. For Amazon itself I have never had an order go wrong. Usually excellent prices, often with free shipping (I cross shop a lot of online vendors so if I end up buying from Amazon its because they had the best deal on the item from a reputable vendor). For example, the Delorme PN-30 I just ordered and recieved from Amazon was WELL under listed prices elsewhere on some Amazon promotion. $199 when the next closest from a reputable vendor was $30 more.  
 
Items usually ship quickly, and pre-orders often end up arriving a day or two before they officially hit the market (particularly books for some reason). I just got a book today (29th) that does not hit the stores until the 2nd. Probably a quirk in shipping to allow the book to reach the customer on the offical 'release' date, but sometimes it works out in your favor quite well!  
 
Highly recommend Amazon.com.
