Love the service Best Deal Magazines provides. A couple months ago I placed an order for me and a couple of friends. Ordered about 5 magazines total. All of the magazines have arrived and everyone is enjoying their magazines. Couldn't believe how quickly they arrived. Had a question for their customer service a couple of weeks ago on a sale they had and they responded the very same day - was very impressed as not too many companies even respond to you anymore. You can't go wrong with Best Deal Magazines.
I've used Best Deal Magazines for many years now to order a ton of magazines every year. Between me, my hubby, and the kids we get alot. We save alot of money using Best Deal Magazines as opposed to buying off the newsstands. Our most recent order was for Gun Digest and it arrived in less than 4 weeks. I think they offer an amazing service and give them a thumbs up.

I ordered GameInformer on their ~$4 deal. I received my first issue in February (3 months later, but it was the January issue, I received the February issue a week after). I didn't care too much about the wait as long as I got the order. Thanks for the great prices! I'm thinking of ordering another from them soon.
Tho' they may be a little slow, they are accurate and honest. There are many fly-by-night mag subscription services on the internet. Because of a really good BBB report on Best Deal, I tried it and am highly satisfied with the price and the accuracy.

Thank you for your post. We just wanted to note that Best Deal Magazines submits orders to our clearinghouse within a week of your order. The publishers are then responsible to enter the orders into their systems and schedule the first issue for delivery. Most publishers deliver a monthly subscription in 8-12 weeks. A quarterly or bi-monthly can take a bit longer depending on the publishing schedule. Publishers print up their mailing labels in advance and this is why there is always a delay in receiving a first issue (ie 2 issues printed and labeled when your order is entered by the publisher; you must wait for next issue to be printed and labeled).
I've ordered a dozen different magazines starting back in July 2004 with no problems. The prices are great.
It does take 12-18 weeks before the 1st issue usually arrives.
I've never had to contact customer service so I can't comment on that.

Delivery time is set by the publisher of each individual magazine ordered. Most publishers will deliver the first issue of a monthly magazine in 8-12 weeks. A quarterly or bi-monthly may take a bit longer depending on the publishing schedule. Most publishers will deliver a first issue by 14 weeks at the latest.
I'm very satisfied with this store. I ordered "Kiplinger Personal Finance" magazine through this store and according to Kiplinger website my account has been created and my subscription starts on December 1, 2007. Bestdealmagazines.com is a great online store, cheap prices and quick processing time.
I have never dealt with Best Deal Magazines customer service so I can't evaluate it but I gave a 6 rating because they are painfully slow. It took at least 3 months for the MaximumPC renewal to be effective.

I did just check on your order for Maximum PC. The publisher entered your order into their system on 8/6/2007 and scheduled your first issue as February 2008. I am not quite sure why there was such a huge delay in getting a first issue out to you, however, this is not something that Best Deal Magazines has any control over. In this case a call to the publisher to inquire about the future start date would have been in order.
PREVIOUS:
Your order with Best Deal Magazines reaches the publisher within 1-2 weeks. The publisher then must enter your order into their system and schedule your first issue for delivery. Quite often the delay in receiving your first issue is due to the publisher printing mailing labels 1-4 issues in advance. As an example, if the publisher has printed mailing labels for the next 3 monthly issues and then your order is entered, your mailing label is attached to the next issue. That means 3 issues must go out before you receive your first issue. If a publisher back serves you would receive your issue much quicker but it may not be a current issue. We have no control over publisher policies and practices.
I hope this has helped you to understand that process that occurs when your order is processed by the publisher.
Best Deal Magazine has won me over again! I had placed an order in 2005 and it was never filled. I heard from the vice president of the company today saying they fired a person who was not doing her job and wanted to issue a refund on the old order, which they immediately did. Having a renewed faith in the company, I placed two orders.

I have reviewed both orders for Women's Health. I see where my former customer service manager issued you a coupon code to replace the magazines and offered an additional $2.50 as a thank you for your understanding and patience with your order. I see where she issued the coupon code for the wrong amount and I am at a loss to understand why. The orders clearly added up to $9.76.
As I stated previously this particular customer service manager was discharged from our employ in July 2007 for reasons such as this. I apologize that you were affected by the poor performance of this particular person.
In the case of your order we were not informed that the order had been returned until we inquired into the delivery status. Once we realized that the order had been returned we issued the coupon code for replacement. If you do not wish to use the coupon code we are always happy to issue a refund.
If a refund has not yet been issued to you, please send an e-mail to my customer service department and we will gladly issue a refund to you for the amount you paid for both orders. Please send your e-mail to additionalsupport@bestdealmagazines.com.
Maybe I'm an exception (I see 75% bad reviews here), but things worked out fine for me. I've ordered several magazines (10 total) with BDM at well below normal subscription price. Received all of them, although most took a very long time to begin reception.
Takes anywhere from 2 to 6+ months in my experience to get first issue (receive regularly after that). Which is often longer than they say it should take (8-18 weeks). More like 4 months on average.
I contacted them about a couple magazines having not arrived yet (after almost 4 months). They got back to me (5 days later) to let me know my order was recently received by the clearing house and I should wait a little while longer. The magazines did arrive a month and half later. It's possible this delay was caused by an error in their paypal system. In their faq they state that if you receive a paypal confirmation, but not a BDM one, you should contact them right away (so they can manually enter order). This is quite annoying. If this is a common error, they should make this more well known (when you make order) as I doubt many people read the FAQ.
It did seem like I started getting a little more postal junk mail. Not a huge amount though. It should be noted that the increase in junk mail is probably from the magazine publishers (selling my info) and not Best Deal Magazines.
The cost of the magazines is subsidized (from a "gift") by the Vintage Superstore. You will be sent advertisements for the "Vintage Superstore" within FREQUENT BDM e-mail promos. So you should keep that in mind when considering which e-mail address you supply (I use a seperate e-mail address for such things).
Overall I'd say I'm satisfied despite the caveats because it was so cheap. I don't remember how much I saved exactly, but it was well over 70% off the normal subscription prices (with discount coupons of course). One of the best savings was on Muscle and Fitness magazine. Saved nearly 90% of the subscription rate. I ordered a 2 year subscription for $7.61 (including shipping) vs the normal $60 subscription cost (or $166 newsstand price). I mean how insane is that?
In summary, I'd say if you want to save a lot on magazines and have a lot of patience (to wait several months), consider ordering through Best Deal Magazines. Make sure you read thoroughly through the site on the terms & conditions and the FAQ. My experience is that they will do what they say, albeit slowly.

Then if a publisher prepares their mailing labels in advance (usually 1-4 issues), you must wait for your mailing label to come up to receive your first issue. Normally a monthly publication is received in 8-12 weeks. A quarterly or bi-monthly can take a bit longer depending on the publishing schedule. Any delays encountered on receiving your first issue is related to either the publisher not entering your order promptly or mailing labels are prepared well in advance.
Postal Junk Mail: Best Deal Magazines does not sell, rent or distribute any of your personal information other than your name and address to the publisher for the purpose of fulfilling your magazine order. We have no control over what a publisher may do with your name and address. If you are receiving postal junk mail, it is not coming from Best Deal Magazines as we have not sold your information. It is probably due to the publisher selling your information to a third party or another website you may have provided your information to.
PayPal: When selecting PayPal as your form of payment, you left your order in limbo as you were redirected to the PayPal website to pay. Once you paid on the PayPal website, PayPal must redirect you back to our website for completion of your order. If they did not or the customer closed their browser thinking they were done, the order never completed. This is why we noted the problem in our FAQ to be sure that customers knew they should always receive an order confirmation from Best Deal Magazines and from PayPal.
I ordered several magazines from this place. The magazines take a while to ship, but they will ship eventually. Expect 2+ months. But for the price, >$5 for Maximum PC and Forbes, it can't be beat.
With prices so low, you can't really go wrong unless you want the magazines very quickly. I'm going to recommend this place because the prices are just that good.
I'm surprised at their rating thus far. I've used BestDealMagazines several times in the past, most recently on Oct. 5, 2004. I ordered a three year subscription to MaximumPC using a coupon code for 15% off found on Techbargains.com. This is one of the best deals around folks, you can't even get a three year sub through MaxPC directly.
I'm VERY pleased with this company and will continue to use them for any applicable magazine subscription needs. Doesn't get much more cheaper or reliable than this.
magazines[HARPERS BAZAAR, GOLF MAGAZINE(renewal), GAME INFORMER(Gift subscription), DISCOVER(renewal)] came as tey said it takes a while, though, but for 3.95 what is there to complain about...
I've order on several occations and I have always gotten my magazines and/or renewals....

I ordered two magazines (Muy Interesante & Mad Magazine) almost two months ago. I wrote Bestdealmagazines a few days ago to inquire about my order. I was given the usual runaround about me having to wait several more weeks for them to be able find out anything. When I went to their site today I noticed that NEITHER of these two magazines I ordered are on Bestdealmagazines.com list anymore (they didn't even mention that on their email about "me having to wait longer before inquiring").
Will write again in September/October to update. By then, either the magazines have arrived or we all know what happened.
Sept. 15, 2009... One of the subscriptions arrived today.

Your order for Muy Interesante & Mad Magazine was placed on 6/19/09. Our website clearly states, in numerous places, that publishers require a fulfillment time of 8-14 weeks. Delivery times are stated in our terms and conditions (which you agreed to at the time of your order), on numerous pages throughout our website, our FAQ page, and in the confirmation e-mail which you received after placing your order. 14 weeks would be September 25th. Today is July 29th only 5.5 weeks after your order. It is unreasonable to expect a first issue from either publisher at this time. Most publishers deliver in 8-12 weeks but some can be slower.
You sent an e-mail to customer service on 7/24/09 at 8:14 a.m. and a response was sent to you the same date (7/24/09) at 10:02 a.m. notifying you of the fulfillment time required by the publishers. You also sent two e-mails today which have been sent to customer service for a response.
As far as not carrying these two magazines at this time, our magazine availability can change from week to week. This is not a reflection of availability for previous orders. Orders placed previously have been processed through to the publishers for fulfillment.
As far as paying for your order at the time you placed your order, any online magazine subscription agency will charge you for your order as the order must be paid for when it is submitted to the publisher for fulfillment. The only way to be billed for a subscription would be to order it directly from the publisher and request that they bill you.
Again, this complaint is unwarranted. Best Deal Magazines has NOT scammed you. We have been in business for almost 20 years now and we would never attempt to scam anyone.
have ordered from them twice with no problems. issues did take awhile to start though. have had issues with other resellers, notably magsforless

When you order through Best Deal Magazines your order will usually reach the publisher within 1-2 weeks. The publisher must then input your order into their system and schedule your first issue for delivery. Depending on how many mailing labels the publisher has printed up in advance (1-4 issues), it can take time to receive your first issue. This is usually where the delay occurs in receiving a first issue.
