My experience with BuyDig was terrible. I ordered a 42 inch Panasonic TV on Oct. 12th and received shipping confirmation the 13th. I made an appointment and took off work for the delivery only to get a call that night to inform me the TV was out of stock. I was assured it would arrive in two days. It did not. I called BuyDig and they assured me it would then be in the following Tuesday. No apology and no compenstation for my lost wages. Called the following Tuesday and was told no, not until the next Monday or Tuesday would it arrive. I expressed my disatisfaction and the customer service rep cancelled my order.
My experience with BuyDig was like trying to buy a TV from the Sopranos.
On June 7th I purchased an Acer Aspire Notebook
8.9 inch Notebook from Buy Dig. It never worked and I returned it to Buy Dig for replacement or repair. I live in Bolivia and I took the notebook out of the box when I traveled to Bolivia to save space in my luggage. When I got to Bolivia the computer never worked. I was told to take the computer to the local Acer representative who said he could not fix it. In June I returned the Acer to Buy Dig, and my experience with them has been a nightmare. First I was told that the computer which was shipped in mid June was not received, yet I have a fedex signature receipt saying that it was received at the warehouse on Junbe 25th. The Buy Dig customer service representative gave me different messages almost every other day. After saying that they did not receive it, weeks later they said they did, and then the real horrible experience began. They said they would replace the computer and then said they would not. They offered to return the broken computer to me, and then said they would issue a refund. In truth all they did was stall and said that they could not receive the computer because it was not in its original packaging. I explained the truth, that I no longer had the packaging. And I said they could repair the computer and send it to me at an address in the US. I finally have had to go back to Mastercard to get their assistance in addressing this. I would never ever recommend BUY DIG to anyone. They might be okay if you have no issues with your purchase, but if you have a problem be prepared. My advice would be to go elsewhere for your purchase as this is not a reliable business. Gary Shaye

Purchaed a vacuum from this company that was listed as new. Came as an obvious open box - dirty and missing parts.
Buydig wants me to ship it back (my cost), won't ship me a replacement. Told me if I wanted a new, unopened box I could order another from their website!
Right after I updated the review on 1/19/10, within 1-2 hours, I received an email from the manager Maurice. He claimed that he was sick in the past months. Even if I believed him, how could he have no responses in all these months (nearly 6 months) but responded me immediately after the review was updated? What a coincidence!
At that time I decided to pass the incentive from him, but he insisted that I reconsidered his offer. In a couple of days, I decided to take his offer, since he sounded very *sincere* - in his email he said I may leave the feedback negative and that the most important thing for him now is to keep his promise to me not the review. We discussed back and forth for almost a week regarding the item I wanted to buy. I even showed my good faith and voluntarily offered that I would change the review and rating as soon as I received the incentive in a satisfactory condition, since he appeared to be *sincere*. However, yesterday right before I was ready to order he requested me to update my review and rating BEFORE he could offer his incentive. I was very upset that he changed his mind again. Again, he simply has NO CREDIBILITY. He specifically said I may leave the feedback negative. I directly responded him that I will only change review and rating as soon as I receive the product in the satisfactory condition.
Today he contacted ResellerRatings.com and tried to remove my review. However, while I am updating my review, I also found out that ResellerRatings.com has following policies: Merchants (a) may not ask for *positive* reviews; (b) must honor any offers for soliciting unbiased reviews, regardless of the rating given; (c) may not ask customers to change or remove negative reviews; (d) may not solicit reviews from non-customers or prospective buyers. Violation of these terms may result in removal of any favorable reviews that resulted from these actions; (e) must wait minimum 7 days to solicit reviews from customers unless the provided exit survey link is used.
You make the judgment if BuyDig.com has violated Items (a), (b), and (c).
WILL YOU STILL BUY FROM THIS RESELLER, BUYDIG.COM? I WILL NOT. NEVER! THEY SIMPLY WASTED ALL MY TIME. WHO RUINED BUYDIG.COM’S REPUTATION? YOU MAKE THE JUDGMENT.
Update on 1/19/10:
Since last update I have contacted the manager Maurice regarding the compensation he offered - 10%-20% off for my next purchase for a few times. However, he never responded me. Then I contacted him around Thanksgiving – no response, around Christmas – no response, and around New Year – no response. When he wanted me to change to the positive feedback, he kept contacting me and I did what I promised. But he failed to honor their offer. He simply has NO CREDIBILITY, and they lied to me. No wonder their rating is dropped so low in the recent months. BuyDig.com don't care about their customers anymore. I will NEVER order anything from them ANYMORE. Lying is simply worse than anything else. In addition, their price is not so attractive anymore. Many online stores offer lower or equivalent prices. BuyDig.com is simply going down and ruining their reputation themselves. If they need get better, first they need to fire this manager. Just a friendly reminder to whomever is doing research: DO NOT buy from BuyDig.com; DO NOT accept any of their offers for changing feedback, because they would not carry out their promise.
Update on 8/28/09:
The manager has called me. He admitted the inaccurate advertisement. Since the charge is already done, he offered certain compensation or incentive in exchange for my *positive* review. So I did. The way they handle this matter makes me feel that they will take care of their customers. So I will come back again. But again, accurate advertisement is VERY important for online shoppers.
Original Review:
This Olympus SP-590 Camera is for my friend, so I can't comment on the product quality. The shipping was fast. The major concern is their inaccurate advertisement and customer service.
On their website they advertised the No Payment for 90 Day via PayPal promotion. However, I was charged in full the next day. I emailed their CS. After back and forth emails for a few times, the representative was apologetic, and said he would work with PayPal directly regarding this promotion. However, it's been 2 weeks there's still no news from them. I guess they have forgotten!
I am very concerned about their inaccurate advertisement and customer service. This is the problem of many businesses.

Don't even think of ordering at this site. They are fraudsters, who will tempt you to buy items on the cheap. If they cannot find the items to fulfill your orders, they will just refund the amount.
I ordered an external hard drive and was sent a confirmation that it will ship within one day. However, I received a refund to my PayPal account today for no apparent reason. They have not sent me communication of any kind.
Try it at your own risk. You may never receive what you ordered.
Buyer Beware! I purchased an ASUS 1000he netbook from this company on March 20, 2009. It arrived a week later and after 3 days of use I noticed long strands of pixelation on the screen. I contacted Asus to find out what the issue was and was told I had a defective netbook. They told me since I just purchased it, to contact the place of purchase and return it for a non-defective unit. I immediately called buydig customer support and was told that they don't replace defective netbooks that they've sold and there was nothing I can do but contact Asus and try to get the netbook fixed by them. This is after 3 days of use! I'm shocked that BuyDig would sell me a defective netbook and refuse to replace it after 3 days!
Right on the page where the Asus is listed on their site it says 30 day return policy. What I didn't notice was a small asterisk next to it. Upon further research on their website, I found out they don't replace computers they've sold. So, after 3 days of use, I'm out of luck. I'm completely shocked that this still happens in this day and age. I feel completely shafted by this company and would never think of buying from them again. I can't believe they would ship a defective unit and wash their hands of it immediately. Now, I have to try and get Asus to fix this defective netbook I just purchased. Quite Amazing. I wish I spent the extra few dollars and bought it from a reputable retailer like I normally do with excellent customer service. Saving 10 bucks has cost me a lot in headache dealing with this.
UPDATE (4/08/09)
After this review was posted, I received a call from Maurice at Buydig. He was very concerned about the situation and profusely apologized for the service I originally received and offered to replace the netbook. However, at this point I had already sent it back to Asus. He kindly reimbursed me for the shipping cost I incurred to send it back to Asus and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. At this point, I'm very pleased with the follow-up customer service and would consider purchasing from Buydig in the future.
UPDATE (4/15/09)
After sending my originally defective notebook with screen pixelation to Asus to have it repaired, I finally received the netbook back today and much to my amazement, they sent me a dead netbook. It wouldn't even boot up and I could hear parts moving around inside it. So, I've had to start the whole process again and resend it back to Asus to get it fixed...again. If Buydig had simply replaced the defective netbook that they sold to me after 3 days, I could've avoided all of this. This has been a nightmare. I appreciate the fact that they reimbursed me for the fedex cost to ship back to Asus, but this is miniscule in comparison to what I've had to deal with. After all this, I really don't think I'll be buying again from Buydig. It just isn't worth the nightmare I have gone through sending a defective notebook back to the manufacturer...twice. In future, I'll purchase from a reputable retailer that replaces defective merchandise.
UPDATE (5/16/09)
I've finally received my repaired netbook from Asus for the second time and it seems to work fine now. It just amazes me that I had to have a defective computer repaired through the manufacturer and not be able to return it to the original retailer after 3 days of owning it! I don't plan to shop at Buydig ever again.

Price dropped on the item before I got it out of the box (within a week) and they would not honor the full price drop. After several emails and a few calls they finally did offer to credit my account for $15 of the $40 drop but I will not do business with a company that has such policies and will try my best to make sure my co-workers do the same. Shipping was slow: it shipped six days after the order was placed when the web site said shipping usually occurs within 48 hours.
Purchased a Samsung LN40A650 TV from this company. It arrive promptly and appeared to be in great condition when inspected, but upon setting up and plugging in it did not work. Would not power on at all. Immediately called BuyDig same day and they told me I would have to pursue the factory warranty through Samsung. Local Samsung technician came out and found the TV damaged internally and per the Samsung tech it had obviously been dropped. Contacted Buydig once again and after several conversations with several different reps they refused to replace the TV. Buyer BEWARE with this company when dealing with any sort of high ticket items!
Disputed the charge but have just been informed that I have lost my dispute, so now I am stuck with a T.V. that didn't work out of the box. At this point I am contacting consumer advocates at my local news stations as well as looking into possible legal options.
Unless you have endless patience and time to spare, don't bother trying to save money by buying from buydig. Here's my frustrating chronology:
1. I placed my order on 1/9. I called to make sure the item (Nikon D60 with 18-55, 55-200 VR lenses) was in stock. The website also said it was in stock and would ship in 1-2 business days.
2. I received an email on 1/11 saying I had to verify order, which I did via email. This email mentioned nothing about my order being out of stock or backordered.
3. On 1/13, I got email that said "the order should ship out shortly."
4. On 1/16, the status of my order online still said "in progress", so I called and the customer service representative said the item wasn't backordered, it just was out of stock, but would definitely ship 1/16 or Monday 1/19. He said the reason they didn't contact me was b/c by the time they contacted me, it would be on its way to me.
5. I received an email about an hour later that same day, 1/16, stating that my order was back ordered, so I emailed to see which was true - that it was shipping like the customer service rep told me or if it was backordered like the email said.
6. On 1/18, I received an email saying that the customer service rep was correct and my order would be shipped ASAP. When I checked online, it said my order was ready to ship, so I assumed that since the customer service rep told me /16 or 1/19, it would ship 1/19.
7. On 1/19, I checked and the status of my order had gone backwards and was now "in progress" after having been ready to ship. Where did my item go - who knows? But apparently it became unready to ship.
8. On 1/20, I spoke to another customer service person who told me the rep who told me my order would ship on 1/16 or 1/19 was wrong and the item was backordered, but that the computer now showed that my item would definitely ship by 1/23.
9. Today, 1/23, I called and another customer service rep told me my order would definitely ship by tomorrow. Well, after being assured on several occasions that my order would definitely ship by a date that has since passed, I canceled my order.
I think if you are not in any rush and have endless patience with unprofessional people and are willing to deal with them to save about $20, then you'd probably eventually get your product, but I'd rather just order from a reputable store and know that I will get my product when it says it's going to come.

Ordered Nikon D60 1/09/2009 shown in stock to ship 1/12/2009. Called 1/13/2009 had not received email with ship info, I was told had been out of stock but would ship today 1/13 with email with tracking info. later today 1/13 received email not in stock will ship later. web site still shows in stock ship date 1/12. Wish I had read the reviews before buying from buydig. will add more later..
I ordered a external hard drive. It arrived totally smashed and broken. The thing which annoyed me most is their web page statement that they check all packages before they ship it - ha - the outer box of the hard drive was already ripped apart, even a monkey could have figured out that what ever was inside that box was broke. But they shipped it anyway. I got the broken hard drive and obviously sent it back and never heard back from them. I did not receive an email or a call. I finally called them and after waiting for 10 minutes in the line someone told me that they refunded me and that they don't offer the drive anymore. Nice work!
This has been the worst on-line purchasing experience I have ever had. They received PayPal payment on the 9th, didn't send the item until the 15th but sent it to the wrong address and blamed it on PayPal? whom I get shipments from everyday. Now, since the item is being returned (today is the 21st) I would need to repurchase the item again and they would just credit my account when the item returns to their warehouse.
I don't think so-I just want my money back ASAP!
I will never do business with this business again!
This was the worst online shopping experience I ever had. I never got my order and I had to wait weeks to find this out from buydig!!!
I ordered headphones that were "in stock" on Dec 2. It took 2 days to process the payment. On the 8th, when I still had not received shipment confirmation, I called the company. I was told that the product was oversold and that it should be in in a week. So i called again in a week (Dec 15) since I wanted to know what was going on with my order. At this point, I still had not received emails about the status of my order. When I called on Dec 15, I was told that my order was canceled by BuyDig (on Dec 14 apparently) and that my credit card had been refunded. I told them that I was not notified of this and that I have not been credited for the price of the purchase. I asked to talk to a manager or someone in charge but no one was available. I am still waiting for the call back from the manager and the money to be credited to my account. It took BuyDig 2 weeks to decide that they did not have my product. I had to call to find out 1) the product was not actually stocked and 2) that BuyDig canceled my order without letting me know they decided to do this. At this point, the product I purchased is no longer available at any reasonable price online and there is no way I can get it in before Christmas (unless I pay ridiculous shipping costs).

I've never joined any website to write a review about anything but this time I felt absolutely compelled to do so because of my bad experience with BuyDig.Com. I placed an order on December 2nd, 2008. The item didn't ship till December 5th! Most other places I placed an order with in the first few days of December the items shipped NEXT day! I had to contact BuyDig.com numerous times regarding why the item has not shipped and when the plan on shipping it. Responses to my emails often took 2-3 days!In the emails they were also clear about their lack of interest in customer service. By that I mean they don't care about their customers at all. The item finally arrived much later than when I really needed and yes I didn't get the free shipping. I got the faster shipping!
After all this, I decided to return the item because I do not wish to give my money to a business that gives no value to customer service. Unfortunately, I ran into problems here too! I had to close my credit card that I used to purchase from BuyDig.com due to fraudulent activity. I contacted my credit card company and they told me it was possible for them to refund me the charges onto the new account. I contacted BuyDig.com and they out right refused to do this even though the credit card issuer says it plainly possible. I'm still stuck in this tangle to get my money back!
I will never to business with BuyDig.com again. I will also advise everyone to do the same. Here is hoping they go out of business soon!
