The item was used, and abused. The people in the Richmond store and Burnaby store were rude and bullyish. My review was removed from the website. Return procedure is over-complicated (to encumber returns?) Then they started choking me with spam, even though I clearly refused their communications by UNchecking the box. The shipment was <24 hours as promised. I am never, ever shopping at NCIX. Better buy in the US and pay the levies than deal with these arrogant cheaters.

NCIX is great! or so I thought..  
 
They put me though 3 months of BS before I finally got working (non-defective) parts, or at least most parts working.  
 
They refuse to admit any of their own mistakes and you end up paying the cost, for example, I paid for 30 day expressrma, but now its been three months! and the PC only now boots to the screen but while playing music in windows it freezes.  
 
All this because they lied to me about holding my original order. They made an error in the title, as it was the same for a different but similar product but the specs were different than the title.  
 
The second case they sent out happens to also be defective and yet after taking more than $1700 from my pocket they don't seem to care that this case also has a problem - the case doors get stuck at the top back while the bottom is loose and won't stay closed without screws, even though there is 2 clips that lock in place and screws shouldn't be needed. Now I'll need to yet spend more money to ship it back to the manufacturer, which means I will need to buy another case so that I can have a working PC for my home business as the replacement process will set me back yet another month.  
 
Overall, my experience was a nightmare!  
 
They are still wasting my time, I have even considered taking them to court for the financial losses I've occurred and also my own personal time that was lost in testing defective parts.  
 
They even had a manager call me up to bribe me about changing my feedback, and since then they have still not had any appreciation that I've been their customer for more than 5 years.  
 
They have started to be somewhat helpful at this time but there have been too many headaches for me not to write how I feel.  
 
DON'T SHOP AT NCIX.COM, BEWARE!

So far, I have not been impressed by their CSRs nor their process of getting a complete order to you. Ordered a NAS bundle - DNS-323 and WD 1TB Caviar green.  
 
Only the NAS came and no harddrive. Called the office and was told to be patient since they were in backorder. However, while surfing their site for a laptop/projector for my business, I came across the harddrive and it was in stock to be purchased individually.  
 
Sent a note in and still hoping for someone to get back to me with an explanation of the backorder status - I am not officially confused.  
 
Will I be using NCIX after I get the full order? most likely not. I have other options in Toronto and a few dollars savings for this kind of follow-up of my part does not make sense - especially when I ordered the item in question, everything was in stock and my credit card has already been charged.

1) I know exactly what a previous reviewer meant now when they said they called several times and just went to voice mail. I had to keep pressing 0 to get the whole phone system to start over. Finally, I just went to another option and someone transferred me to a live person.  
 
2) I ordered a G2400wd Benq monitor from Ncix because they had the best price even after shipping AND they had a 0 dead pixel policy you couple purchase separately. I was super excited. Finally, when it got here I had to go to Fedex to pick it up, when I got there I noticed that:  
 
A) The box had TWO fed ex stickers that said "do not accept this package w/o signature" and one of them over the area needed to OPEN the package ... and guess what, that sticker had been slit open.  
 
B) The big round sticker that was covering the tab to open the box ... was half resealed, ie had already been opened.  
 
C) After showing Fedex that the box had been previously opened they suggested I open the already open package, to make sure the contents were all there. So I did, I wanted to make sure that all the pieces were there. Well I found two cords and my friend said that there was another one in there but he could only see it, not get it, because it was all the way at the bottom. More on this in a sec.  
 
D) So I took it home hoping for the best. NEVER DO THIS, if the box is OPEN REFUSE THE PACKAGE. But I was dumb, and I have the pixel policy. I got the package home and upon taking out the lcd screen I realized that the VGA cord was ATTACHED TO THE MONITOR!!!!!! It was actually plugged into the vga port. Someone had re-wrapped the other side so it still had the foam around it but it OBVIOUSLY wasn’t factory wrapped.  
 
E) So next I looked at the base of the monitor. One of the rubber feet had a black mark on the bottom of the foot as it had already been slid across someone’s desk!  
 
F) So then I looked at the shaft of the monitor, where the monitor would attach to the plastic base, there is 2 marks where it is obvious that the base has already been attached to the monitor!  
 
So GREAT, they sent me a used monitor. It looked like someone tried it out, but then just stuck it back in the box … without so much regard as to even REMOVE the vga cable.  
 
Call them up, tell them they sent me a open box. What do they tell me? They THINK they may have one monitor left at one of their retail stores. They are not sure. After that they are out of stock but they MAY be expecting more in a couple weeks. So even since I bought the pixel policy I would have had to wait weeks to get a monitor without dead pixels. (Matt, was very polite and helpful btw)  
 
IF YOU GET THEIR DEAD PIXEL POLICY CALL TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE SEVERAL MONITORS IN STOCK!  
 
Here is the worst part. SOMEONE sent me the monitor w/o even looking at the box closely enough to see that it had previously been opened. (Or they sent it out knowing that it wasnt new.)  
 
Now the only way I can not lose my dead pixel policy money is to wait for a replacement. IF they have one in stock. I may have to wait a couple weeks. Otherwise I have to accept a OPEN box product that I paid FULL PRICE FOR.  
 
Why put the dead pixel policy on your monitors if you don’t have any left in stock!  
 
Why send open boxes to people who paid money for NEW product?

Took NCIX over 2 weeks to get me my item. i paid for fedex express shipping too. I've called over 40 times and only got through about 4 times. other times i was sent to voicemail, where i wouldn't get a return call. Emails and tickets were also responded to in the slowest manner i've ever seen from an online merchant. Will NOT do business with them again

I placed my order on Dec 29 and I know because of the holidays it was slightly delayed, but my order has still not shipped and every time I call customer support I end up sitting on hold for 10 or more minutes only to be transferred to voice mail. I have never received a call back from them and have called many times. I don't know how this company can do business like this. Next time I will pay extra and just purchase it from newegg.

I recently placed an order at NCIX and it has been 5 days and my order still has not shipped. I put in a ticket, only to have support tell me all my items were in stock and would ship that day - it never happened.  
 
I've posted a reply to that ticket, no response. I posted on their forums, no response.  
 
This service in inexcusable. This is the my 2nd order with them in the past 2 years, and my previous order wasn't much different. They must be the slowest, most dysfunctional company on earth. They should take a lesson from newegg.

It seems like this reseller only has one guy working customer service. Also i placed a order and way to many verification steps were taken. Then even called my credit card company and got my card turned off because they were from canada. I ordered from NCIXUS and my whole experience was horrible. I ordered something on the 19th and paid for overnight shipping. It did not ship until the 21st and it fell on a weekend and I will not recieve the order until the 24th. So my new computer will not be able to run due to one single part missing in which i ordered from them. Also when you call them they only let you stay on hold for 30 seconds before the system auto hangs up on you and tells you to leave a message. Why? are you so cheap you can't let your customers wait on hold? I called 5 times over a span of 3 days and got the same customers service rep every time. And during lunch hours they dont even awnser the phone. They absolutely do not ship the same day you order no matter what. I will never use them again!

We try to process orders as quickly as possible but certain circumstances often hold up the process.  
 
We did not have anyone processing orders at 3:00am when your order was placed so it had to wait until the next day. When billing and shipping addresses do not match, additional checks need to be made to protect ourselves and our customers. The order was also held up due to the fact that you wanted to make a couple changes to your order and apply for a price adjustment.  
 
We were happy to make these changes for you and understand you were in a rush to receive your order on Monday, but shipping from Canada to Kentucky is quite a distance.  
 
Despite the setbacks and distance the package had to travel, we are glad you did receive your order on the Monday as you requested. If we can be of any further assistance don't hesitate to contact us.

Day 7: (paid for, in stock, processed) order still not shipped yet.  
 
It took 8 days for my order to ship, for no reason at all, and I had to contact them before they 'remembered' to ship it.  
 
The monitor arrived with a scratch on the screen, and a large smudge beside the scratch. The DVD drive was poorly packaged (in the bottom corner of a larger box), and I'm surprised it was not damaged too.  
 
I'm finding out that they operate multiple 'fronts', different websites, that may appear to be different companies, but are actually run and serviced by the same back-end business.

My last order was for some high end speakers and a sound card (I'm looking over the old messages - now I remember why I wasn't going to deal with these people again):  
 
first of all, dealing with their customer service is like pulling teeth.  
 
here's an example of their responses (quoted exactly from an old message): "I really can't give any estimate on when these will come in - it could be tomorrow, it could be next year."  
 
also, it seemed that they added a free ground shipping offer to the items I bought after I ordered but before it shipped, so I asked if I could cancel and reorder (+$65 for me) - no response from them, they just ignored my request (I should have pressed more but didn't).  
 
anyway so the speakers eventually come, 1 of them is defective and hissing, so I return/RMA them, another $65 to ship them back.. and then a turn around time of nearly 2 months!  
 
for a total time from ordering speakers to getting working speakers of 4 months!  
 
also there's the notorious $5.99 NCIX Heavy Duty Shipping Box, which they may or may not use to put your stuff in, but when they don't use it they don't tell you and refund your money up front, you have to contact them and ask for your $5.99 back.  
 
I wish I remembered how badly this order went... but alot of time went by and the sting of this wore off... and a week ago I ordered nearly a computer worth of parts from them.  
 
the first thing that comes up: turns out they do _manual_ credit card processing, they have people phoning a number (that you supply) and checking your information (yes, they apparently pay people to do work that can be done by a computer program)... I gave NCIX my cell phone number, and the credit card company had another number, so NCIX rejects my credit card (despite this card being used for all previous orders with them), I change the number with the credit card company within minutes and phone NCIX back... now they tell me that this will add 24 business hours to the order processing. I ask the guy if anything can be done to speed this up... and he gives me a lecture about how they get literally 100's of orders a day and how NCIX doesn't care about me. This was Monday at 5:30pm (the order was placed on Saturday), and they didn't retry the order processing until about 4-5pm on Wednesday.  
 
Wednesday night/Thursday I notice one of the items I had ordered had gone out of stock (everything was in stock when I placed my order), so I switch it for a similar but more expensive item - the guy on the phone tells me this will add 24-48 business hours to shipping.  
 
The order was divided into 3 shipments, the first was shipped Thurs night/Fri morning, but it's seems the substitution costed me the full 48 'business' hrs, because the 2nd package looks like it won't be shipped until Monday (hopefully)... but it turns out that while they were dragging their feet, another one of the items I ordered went out of stock (despite being in stock when I placed my order), so a 3rd package will come who knows when in the future.  
 
Their prices aren't bad... but you'll pay in other ways. Avoid NCIX if you need anything in a timely fashion, or want customer service that doesn't behave like bureaucrats.

This company is so disorganized it's ridiculous. I ordered a ASUS 4g Pink Ee from NCIXUS. I paid for 2 day shipping. When I didn't receive my order or any updates from this company after 5 days, I attempted to call their customer service dept. The phone kept ringing and always went to voicemail. There customer service department doesn't give you the ability to hold a a CSR. No one ever answered. I then had to send an email to them requesting a status update on my order. Via email they let me know that my item had been "unexpectedly discontinued." They tell me this after they charge my credit card. Not only did they charge my credit card for an item that did not exist, they did not attempt to contact me to let me know the status of my order, and they did not automatically refund my money. Instead of automatically refunding me my money, they asked me three times if I wanted to order something else. After telling them NO three times and requesting a refund three times, I had to send a separate request for a refund. Then two days later I get another email from them letting me know it was a miscommunication that the item was out of stock. They really had the item in stock, but since I had already cancelled my order and requested a refund. I should have purchased it from Best Buy, but after all this drama is it now on back order at Best Buy. This company has horrible customer service, is shady, and is run in a haphazard manner.

Frustratingly slow processing speed. First they failed to verify my credit card which I never ever had a problem with. I called on April 10th, and give them more info and I was told I need to wait another biz day for cc review. So Friday passed, and still not processed...

Refusal in allowing me to speak with a supervisor over a package that was lost. Took a month in communication with Canada Post over the lost package and initiating a refund on my money. Still have yet to receive my refund after a week and a half of the package being deemed lost. Will never shop there again, and will not refer them to anyone else.

I ordered a monitor from NCIX.com using PayPal. I also paid extra for a guarantee that I would have no dead pixels. I got the first monitor which had a dead pixel. I called their RMA department and had them cross-ship another one. This meant I had to pay for the new monitor as well. I put that one on my credit card. The new monitor also had a dead pixel. I decided I didn't really want to have nearly $1,200 tied up with them. I opted for this next return to ship both monitors back and just do without until I got the next replacement. I tracked the shipment and saw that it was accept on January 18th. I was not given credit for the cross-shipment until the 29th! While waiting for my credit, I called to see when I would be receiving the credit and my replacement monitor. I was informed that they did not have any more of this monitor. Why was I sold a guarantee that could not be honored? Why did I have to call to find this out? How long would I have waited if I had not called in? I was offered the defective monitor back. I asked the rep if I could be credited for the guarantee I purchased since I was being forced to take a monitor with a dead pixel. He said he could not give me credit for this since I had returned a monitor using the guarantee. I thought the guarantee was that I would get a monitor with NO DEAD PIXELS! If I am going to have to take a monitor WITH dead pixels, I don't feel I should be charged for a NO DEAD PIXEL GUARANTEE! I was so upset by this that I asked to just be refunded for the original purchase. The Rep agreed to issue the refund. THIS refund was issued to my credit card, but the refund to my cross-shipment had been issued to a credit card that wasn't even mine! The rep said he would submit this problem to the accounting department. I asked if they would contact me when they have resolved the issue. The rep responded, "I don't know." Just as of today, they have finally resolved these issues with the credits and, although the credit for the initial purchase was issued to my credit card rather than the PayPal account with which my original purchase was made, I suppose that is much better than the refund being issued to someone else's credit card. This was a horrible buying experience from the start. The rep I spoke with obviously did not care that I had almost $1,200 tied up with his company and NO MERCHANDISE WHATSOEVER. He was trying to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. I have had to call this company five or six times to resolve this issue. I have made them an interest-free loan of my $1,200 for at least half a month. I am out the original shipping cost plus the cost of an impotent no dead pixel guarantee with absolutely nothing to show for it.

After checking the different models and prices on the 'net, I ordered a video card from NCIXUS.com  
I had seen that other people on the 'hot deals' forums (Fatwallet, Slickdeals, etc.) had had some problems with getting customer support to answer emails or phone calls, but I thought the chances of me having to speak to someone for a relatively simple order was low and it was probably just them being overwhelmed by the Xmas rush.  
Well, I've found out the hard way that it wasn't that. I received an automated email telling me that there was a problem with my order and to call an 888 number. So I call, get fed up waiting and leave a message with my name, phone number and order number. Then a few days later I do the same again, another few days goes by and I leave another message. Yesterday for the fourth time I leave yet another message. Still not one email or phone call back.  
At this point I'd be happy to get bad customer service, rather than no customer service.  
 
First and last time I'll order from these jokers. I guess I should be thankful I don't have to return anything. Avoid like the plague.
