I was a victim of "bait and switch" - I ordered 2 Hyundai Imagequest monitors and received 2 cheaper cornerstone monitors instead. I'm still fighting to get refunded and for them to take these monitors back. after much fighting they have agreed, however they want to hold me responsible for return shipping damages even though they paid for shipping and are sending ups to pick up at my location! also, phone support is non-existent, do yourself a favor, avoid this merchant!

I purchased a 3COM Wireless Access Point, That was an OEM bulk purchase, but it came with no power source or mounting plate at all. I know bulk means you get none of the software extras or pretty packaging, but it should come with a way to turn the thing on. After ordering a power over Ethernet adapter and getting the thing powered up, I noticed it only supported 802.11b not 802.11G which was advertised. I called 3COM and they didn’t know what the problem with the unit was, but they did inform me that the unit was not new, that in fact it was purchased a year ago. I was told to go back to the vendor and ask for an exchange. After calling several times, I finally got a hold of someone that told me I would have to pay to ship the unit back and they would then check it out and send me it back if it was found to be functioning properly or replace it if it was defective. They told me that 3COM would be a better choice to resolve my problem, since they know the product. I knew this would take a long time because it took almost 2 weeks for me to receive it in the first place and it took over a week for me to get a tracking number. I called 3COM and paid $69.00 to get them to send me another unit and at this point I have not received it.

I ordered 2 flat panels at a great price. I was nervous about the order after reading ResellerRatings reviews, but everything went fine. I did call first to make sure the items were in stock, since people complained about the website. The salesman was helpful and polite. The items shipped the same day, with tracking. The monitors are brand-new with no dead pixels. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The price was really low.

The MP-3 player I wanted was listed and shown as in stock on the website. I was advised later after the order was submitted that not only were they out of stock it was also discontinued. Apparently this company is not organized and was a waste of time for me.

I ordered a motherboard from compuvest as it was not available on my normal resellers site My creditcard was charged that day. returning to compuvests site a day later to see any progress but all you can see is 'in process" looking for a way to see my order on their site was fruitless 4 days passed before I finally got a tracking # in my email .. and tho they charged me what I felt was enough to warrant some faster shipping.. ended up with ups ground.. their tracking said on the 30th that it had been picked up in Washington. finally 5 days later shown it had reached Illinois geeze The package showed up well wrapped maybe it could have had more side protection and since I dont have my CPU yet I cant test it Just hoping to god I dont have to try and replace it Sticking with newegg from here on

Purchased an MSI motherboard that was advertised as NEW RETAIL on their site. Was sent a refurbised motherboard. (confirmed as refurbised by MSI) Now they want close to 40% of this products value in restocking and shipping fees for a replacement.

Sent wrong product. Ordered $85 Camera, Recieved cheap Pen Cam. Returned item. Customer service stinks. I hade to return item for exchange at my cost ask to have shipping updated so I could recieve item before christmas. Refused.

I'd advice anyone avoid shopping there unless you are looking for problems.
Placed an order, got confirmation email and that's all. Since that more then 8 days have passed and I have not received not even item, but a single email, but they charged my credit card the same day.
It is not possible to hold a live person on phone. They do not answer emails.
If I do not get any update by tomorrow, I'm going to file fraud report with my credit card bank and request money back.

I ordered 6 Matrox multi-monitor cards from Compuvest and 2 arrived damaged. On one of them, they had placed scotch tape on a transistor to hold it in place. When I requested an RMA I explained each of the defects, but they were immediately returned to me stating they where "physically damaged." Calls to the company where not returned, and I finally received an email repeating that they had been sent back. They represented the cards on the website as new, but they were clearly "refurbished" when they arrived, with 2 being junk that they refused to take back. If you want to get ripped off and have a horrible customer service experience...by all means order something from Compuvest.

I ordered an AMD CPU, paying for it in advance with PayPal. I then got an e-mail offering an inferior alternative, saying the item I ordered was out of stock. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. They agreed, but only gave me a partial refund. Not only do they advertize things they don't have, but then keep part of your money. Then they suddenly forget how to answer e-mails. Thank heavens for PayPal... let them deal with the bums.

I've nearly always had good experiences with CompuVest. I've
ordered from them for years. My main complaint is that their
website is a little bit difficult to checkout from and it's not as
simple as it used to be. Otherwise I'm very happy with their

We are international Reseller in Germany. We are already doing sucessful business with serious partners overseas.
Now we tried our first order from Compuvest. We ordered stuff for about 8000$. The first anger was that they now wanted a 4% surplus for the credit card charging. They didnt`t tell befor!!
Because we needed the stuff strictly, we confirmed. Then Amex was delained twice(after my enquiry at Amex it was because of an security check). I told Mark, our rep. that it can be ruled after a call at the AMEX office. But now they got rude. I hade no other posibility as to cancel the order, althought I had needed the stuff.
Then I got an email: "We apologize you are not a serious customer."
I`m sorry but a good costumer service seems to be different

Item was listed as "New and sealed" on their website. Actual item was opened and used (finger prints all over it!) Refused to give full refund; had to chargeback.

Bought three CDRW's because of the great price but when I received them, two of the three would not work and had to be returned.
Because shipping is not covered by the company, even in a case like this where the fault lies with them in sending out defective items, I will avoid ever shopping with them again.

Buyer beware!
I bought a hard drive that I searched by specific model not by characteristics. The site said that it was a refurbished product. I agreed on the item even if it was refurbished because it had the exact model I needed since I was going to use it to replace the pcb on another hard drive. However what I received was a totaly different hard drive from a different manufacturer and clearly not the same model.
I would characterize this website as unprofessional, they post items they do not have, and when you require them to offer you a solution they yell back at you and hang up on you like you are not worth listening, I was actually very polite and wanted to resolve in the best way possible but instead I got insulted with bad manners.
The reallity is YES, you made a mistake if you ordered from this company, their vey low price will cost you dearly, not only money but disrespect and a bad moment.
