Order a toner cartridge for later use. When I went to use it the next month, we opened the bag and toner was everwhere. Customer service would not help and had to fill out and email a return form. Rejected the return because it was over 7 days. Stay away from this place. I saw enough red flags to never shop here again.

I have ordered Laptop Sony Vaio on March, 20 and so far I have yet to receive the product!  
We were exchanged with e-mail till the middle of July and since that time no more information I received from them!  
Looks like they have used my money (1,300.00$)but have no responsibility for delivery of paid down goods.  
I would suggest people do not use their service!  
Who will help me to get my money back?  
Finally I have purchased another Laptop in Greece where I am living.

Well, I ordered from Compuvest. The next day I was just prowling around the internet and I found quite a few websites like this that Review online companies. Almost No one had something good to say about Compuvest. I ordered (2x1gb) of Corsair PC8500 RAM @ 1066, Ironically it arrived before my packages from Newegg. The RAM functions fine but did not come in any Official packaging, So I don't know if its new or not. But im fine with the purchase! I would not recommend Compuvest, But I would not differ someone from the deals they have. I just wouldn't suggest buying something incredibly expensive or extravigant.  
 
NEW: 2 weeks or so later here I am. Computer works amazing, the RAM is up to par and works perfectly! Readin reviews worried me, but It came in fine and works amazingly!

Would not recommend shopping there, if you want quality. I ordered an Apple iPod Nano dock. It was here within three days. Unlike the website, though, the iPod dock was not new. In fact it was pretty dirty, it didn't come in its original packaging, and it says Apple 2003 on the bottom of it. If you want new products, i would recommend ordering from different website.

I ordered a MSI motherboard advertised through several web sites (Pricewatch, Google, Livesearch) at good price. After accepting payment, it took seven days for Compuvest to determine that it did not have stock of this item. The motherboard continued to be advertised during the seven days, part of the time at the special price.  
 
Then, Compuvest then offered a substitute ECS motherboard instead. (Note: for comparable products ECS is generally much lower priced).  
 
I declined the substitute offer and submitted a complaint to Compuvest. Compuvest refunded my money. The bottom line; Compuvest wasted my time.

I sent them a PO for 2 processors they had in stock (according to their website). The delayed the order because they didn't have payment information. Which I understand. By the time they called me to get payment information, they said that the processors we're already sold. Why didn't they tell me that earlier? Better question why didn't they hold the 2 processors for me?

Purchased from Compuvest via Buy.com. The product ordered was a Compuvest labeled HP 49X compatible toner cartridge. Upon opening the box after several weeks (when printer was ready for new cartridge) discovered that they had put the incorrect cartridge in the box.  
 
Called and they refused to exchange because it had been more than 30 days (I don't open the foil pouch which the cartridge comes in until I need to use it).  
 
The customer service suggested I call Frayne, apparently a manager in customer service. Spoke to him on May 22. He said he would look into what he could do. Follow-up voice mails to him on June 5 and June 16 were unanswered. No resolution.  
 
My suggestion to stay away from Compuvest. They don't even return phone calls.

I've ordered a few times but the last will be...the last. I ordered two Lenovo laptops and called to make sure they were the correct model. One arrived broken the other was a Chinese model! They double billed my credit card and have yet to correct that. I sent them back with an RMA and refused to accept the broken one. The reason? We have strict quality standards when shipping. Then explain how you sent me a chinese model which you accepted? Needless to say I will be charging back my credit card so what's the point other than making sure I never order from you again?

Due to very limited budget, I decided to give it a shot due to their very competitive price. I have no complaint about my order. I ordered a battery for my laptop on May 29th and received the item on June 2nd. Shipping is very fast, and customer service was not as good as staples but still quite good. The battery is obviously genuine - I was worrying it might be from gray market. Pretty nice experience and this encouraged me to order from them again.

So far I have yet to receive the products i ordered, there is NO tracking info available on their website AND I cannot reach a real human being over the phone! If I don't get somewhere very soon I will be cancelling the credit card charge and putting them on The Black List of dealers.....

Buy your computer from a local dealer, even if it costs a little more. Everything about my experience with Compuvest, after the initial hello and exchange of pleasantries was absolutely unsatisfactory. I should have heeded the early warnings, but I let my impulsive desire guide me instead. I was in a hurry to own a computer, but my purchase from Compuvest ended up costing me several months in the end.  
Nobody could answer questions about the computer I wanted. They told me they couldn't answer "technical" questions. I asked what software was on the computer. That's not technical. That's like asking whether the car you want has 2 doors or four, or what size engine it has.  
When the computer arrived, it didn't work, and part of the equipment was not as advertised. I'm not smart enough to know what the scam was, but I am convinced that they sold me a computer that they knew was broken.  
Because of the time involved and the possibility of additional damage during shipment, I requested to be allowed to have the computer repaired locally by a licensed Mac shop, but Compuvest refused. I had this shop diagnose the computer, anyway, because my dealings with Compuvest and the very restrictive language of their written warranty made me feel it necessary to have independent documentation of the problem. I was very afraid that they would attempt to blame me for the problem and void the warranty. That cost me $45 that will never be reimbursed.  
Honestly, I was afraid to even tell Compuvest that I had been to the Mac shop, again, because I was afraid they might attempt to somehow use that as reason to void the warranty. When a company that is a thousand miles away has your cash in their pocket and all you have is a broken piece of crap and a warranty which they wrote, you realize how powerless you are.  
During my attempts to resolve the issue, several of my phone calls went unanswered, and I later learned that the company routinely closes early whenever they want, apparently, even for rain if they desire. This served to further delay resolution of the matter for more than a week, at least, because they are also closed on weekends.  
Finally, when I realized that my only hope was to ship the computer back to them and pray, they couldn’t resist sticking me one more time. Even though they promised a speedy return of my money, it took them more than a week to even begin to look at the computer once they had it, then several more days to complete their exam, and even more days to write and mail my refund. This, in spite of the fact that I told them exactly what was wrong with the computer.  
By contrast, my local shop had an answer for me in about 4 hours, even though they are quite busy and I brought the computer to them completely unannounced. Some people do understand the value of good customer service. Please, buy your computer locally.

I am an off an on customer of CompuVest and lately they have been super efficient and the best part is that the customer is always right. I ordered a drive, and as mistakes do happen, they sent me the wrong drive. They immediately emailed me a return UPS label and upon receipt of the item, they refunded my total amount including shipping. The item I originally ordered was out of stock. I order a lot of stuff from many etailers and it was just a no hassle return with very polite people and I spoke with many people.

This company will send you used components and claim that they are new. I ordered 14 supposedly new network cards and most of them have signs of being used. I also only got 6 driver CDs and only 2 of the cables that are supposed to come with "managed" cards (3C905CX-TM-M). Their prices are good for a reason. They misrepresent their products.
