I ordered the low profile rear window for by Chenbro RM214 2U server case.
Apparently the product they shipped to me does not work with my case at all because none of the holes are aligned. It seems the product is made by third party based on its workmanship and lack of any markings or accompanied printed material (no packaging either except a plastic wrap). But their ad specifically said it's compatible with my server. I had to return it and pay the shipping and 15% restocking fee etc. This review was modified by its author, jpenguin, on

One of the most non-communicative and time wasting online stores that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If you can shop anywhere else, and you value your time – do it.
These people have no regard for customer service and are evidence that cheap prices will always get you somehow.

I ordered an item from these guys, and it was out of stock? The least they could do, is update their site, and let people know that their items are out of stock. I had a great experience dealing with Shentech. The product I ordered was delivered quickly and works great. Also, the product was the cheapest I found on the net.

Worst online shopping experience in a long time! Thought I found a good place to get tech goods, mechandise was DOA, called customer service line and it was disconnected. Sent an email and finally got a repsonse directing me to an RMA request page, went through that twice and two weeks later, for a total of a month, STILL had nothing. Called several times and finally talked to someone who agreed to accept the return for a 15% restocking fee. Told him where he could stick the crap I bought from them and decided to look for a different online retailer. My advice: shop elsewhere if at all possible!

HORRIBLE! The product came on time, but was totally defective. I shipped it back. They promised to ship replacement upon receipt of product. They received product, and never shipped a replacement. I called and they just said they were out of stock. No call or email to tell me before. Instead they charged me and never shipped a product 0/10 rating.

HORRIBLE SERVICE
I ordered on WEDNESDAY, they didnt want to ship until monday of the following week. Don't bother wasting your time with this company.
You know whats funny aswell. They publish there phone numbers on there site, YET. The 888 number is NEVER answered, the 718 is always busy.
I got ahold of another number from an email one of there employies sent me, and they picked up once and then never again. Very unprofessional.
Stick with newegg.com

Yes, your order was submited Wed Mar 29 00:25:44 EDT 2006. But due to your payment via paypal was unconfirm address. Therefore, it takes us longger times to processed your request.
In addition, you are paying "ground" shipping and your order was delivered Thursday Apr 06, 2006 it is reasonable on 5-7 day ground delivery time.

Highly recommend. Extremely quick shipping and friendly service. Originally sent the wrong adapter, but quickly rectified the situation by sending out the correct item and a prepaid return shipping label. I couldn't be more pleased by their excellent service!

I just received a CDRW/DVD drive that I ordered from Shentech and want to say they handled the order with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. I received the part in 3 days and am very happy with the way the transaction was handled. Good job!

Shentech's honesty, fairness, and integrity has really surprised me. I ordered some memory modules, Crucial part number CT3272Y265 from Shentech at a remarkably low price--less than half Crucial's price! Shentech wasted no time filling my order, sending me e-mail messages to keep me informed regarding the status of my order every step of the way. The memory modules arrived promptly and were well packaged--but they were physically different from the CT3272Y265 parts I'd seen before and they didn't work in my system--which uses the CT3272Y265 modules.
As it turned out, Shentech was given the part number CT3272Y265 for those modules by its supplier. The parts delivered to Shentech were earlier versions of the CT3272Y265 which used a totally different DRAM chip configuration.
This wasn't Shentech's fault at all, but they made it right. They waived their usual restocking fee and gave me a 100% refund and assured me that they would investigate the difference in parts, talk to their supplier about it, and add some verbiage to their Web site to make it clear that the CT3272Y265 modules they were selling might be incompatible with some systems.
Shentech could easily have refused to give me a refund or even subject me to their normal refund policy, but they were willing to listen and genuinely seemed interested in getting to the bottom of the problem and sorting it all out.
Many kudos to Shentech for putting the customer first and doing the right thing--even when it wasn't their fault.

The product that they sent is not the product advertised on the site. I purchased two of the S2850G2N shown here:

The page above says that the motherboard includes an intergrated Serial ATA controller. When they arrived, however, the motherboards do not have it! There is an empty space where the chip and connectors are supposed to be. I spent nearly $400 for these motherboards and am a little miffed that either their website is wrong, or else they just shipped me the wrong product.
Either way, I went to the site to get help and can't find an email address, phone number, or any other way to contact them. I am very very unsatisfied and don't even know where to go from here!

Addendum: I contact the company by replying to the email that they sent when the order was shipped, and expressed the concerns posted earlier.
To my surprise and delight, they admitted their error and offered a 100% refund (shipping non-refundable). So, I'd say that, other than the misleading information on their website, they have won my confidence. This review was modified by its author, stdout, on

I ordered a refurb Gigabyte GA-7VRX board from Shentech which worked great for a week then wouldn't even POST. I called to get an exchange, but the item was no longer in stock. I was offered a comparable board at no additional charge and didn't even have to send the old board back. This is my first experience with Shentech and I have to say I'm nothing but satsisifed with the way they handled this problem.

I wish I had read these reviews before placing my order. Like so many others, I received the wrong adapter (which was clearly used, to boot) and after a very unpleasant ordeal over the phone, still haven’t received the one I ordered. I will be pursuing these frauds until I get my money back or get the correct item.
DON’T BUY FROM THIS STORE. Shentech.com is running an incredibly disorganized and deceitful mess of a company, and doesn’t deserve your business.

Update 8/5/5: I have recieved my refund and I am now a somewhat happy customer - even though dealing with customer support was long, drawn out and very frustrating they did get the job done in the end.

I bought a case that turned out not to be compatible with my DVD drive. I emailed on day 15 of their return policy asking for exchange. They tried to pass me off to the manufacturer (who is in CA and only does business locally).
Their website is outdated. (Everything down to their policies.) Their out of stock items are apparently never getting back in stock. Their restocking fee is now 20%, not the 15% the website states. <edited>
I have sent numerous emails - they don't read anything more than the first few sentances. Their spelling and grammer is horriffic. After 5 emails, they finally started addressing me by name (as opposed to "Customer"), and then they spelled it wrong! <edited>

They had the lowest price for my item at Froogle.com. The first item they sent was defective, but they promptly replaced it with a working unit. Highly satisfactory service.
