I talked to two different sales people at Bzboyz and they both assured me that the CPU I was purchasing was covered by a one year warranty from them. They sent the order to the wrong address so it was a good week late getting to me and when I didn't see the warranty verbiage on the invoice as they had promised, this is the response I got when I made an inquiry about the issue:
[quote]Hi
We apologize for the inconveniency caused to you. Bzboyz does give 1year warranty with motherboard / cpu combo. May be our representative understood that you are going for motherboard along with cpu, so that is the one possibility where we inform customer that Bzboyz gives 1 year warranty on cpu along with motherboard, where we even give this in writing in invoice copy. However for CPU and CPU alone we give only 30days warranty for OEM processors.
So there is no chance of assuring of 1yr warranty to customer. However if this has happened to you, we apologize and take care of such issues.
Regards
Jenny

Jenny is one of the ones that had told me there was a 1 year warranty on the OEM chip and the misunderstanding about a combo was not at all accurate short of calling them all liars; there was never any discussion of a combo.
Buy from these people at your own risk because communication is a huge factor as you can plainly see.

We are terribly sorry for the miscommunication. We have tried to contact you, but have not received a reply. Normally CPUs only come with a 30 day warranty unless we are offering some type of promotion. We have noted your order, and have given you a 1 year warranty. It will expire on 1/9/2009. Again we apologize that you were not satisfied with our service. |

Do not buy from this company. Out of 7 items I ordered, 5 had to be substituted. Was charged extra in downgrading most of those parts as well. Paid for expedited shipping, took nearly 2 weeks for them to ship. Also received the wrong graphics card, I ordered one with a vga and dvi port on it, The one I got has vga only. The company is refusing to work with me, saying they forwarded my issue to their "concern department" they have yet to contact me in over two weeks. Company will be reported to the better business bureau, the state attorney general, and I am filing for a chargeback with my bank. BUYER BEWARE

By far, the worst eBay Store I ever encountered. This seller usually takes 3 days to reply to an email, and the replies are usually irrelevant form letters. I finally got fed up with this seller, so I explicitly asked for an RMA number per store policy. In response, bzboyz sent yet another irrelevant email about their general store policies. I emailed a second request, but bzboyz offered an RMA for $16.95 instead of $78.39, violating his own store policy. I called the owner, described my intention to notify law enforcement, and he suddenly became very cooperative. I eventually received the refund, then rated him negatively on eBay. He soon rated me negatively on eBay, the first time any seller did that. I checked into this, and discovered bzboyz always leaves negative feedback for every eBayer who rates him negatively. Thus, he never rates an ebayer until he first finds out whether they rate him positively or negatively. Perhaps he does not give feedback first so he can try strongarming the buyer into mutually withdrawing their negative feedback, a sleazy tactic to keep his eBay feedback score artificially high. I would never buy anything from bzboyz again.

I purchased two sticks of PC2700 DDR from this scam shop. They were supposedly Samsung brand but looked like some cheapo rip off stuff. The RAM was DOA and have been trying to RMA it now for over a week. They say I need to include an RMA form to send it back but they won't send me an RMA form. They also say the RMA number is only valid for 5 days and they must recieve the return within 15 days. This is impossible because they won't send the RMA form so I can return this. STAY AWAY!! I was ripped of for $78.00 Don't let his happen to you!

I am really, really, really annoyed.
The product they advertised when Samsung RAM, when I first got the product I noticed that it wasn't in retail packaging it was just in a plastic bag. Second, the warranty mentioned on the ram was like one of those tags on an item in a grocery store. It didn't look very legit. As I tried to get the product to work I discovered it was DOA. I'm really mad now because the return policy says I will get charged $35, if I am wrong that it was DOA. Or, that if I return the product I will have to pay 15% restocking fee, oh, but that's not it. They don't refund you 15% of what you paid, but rather 15% of the market value of the product which they make lower so that they can take more money from you. Because of my annoyance, I am doing the following things.
1) Going to their office.
2) Filing a claim with paypal.
3) Filing a claim with the BBB
4) Filing a claim with the city in which they are located in.
I'm really annoyed at myself for not checking reseller ratings beforehand, but nobody should be punished by companies that rip people off.

Stay away! Most unresponsive seller ever. Took order and charged me AT ONCE. But never ever delivered or answered any of my many repeat e-mails on the missing items. The many times I tried using the chat-service the response was always something like: "Sorry, our system is down..." For ten days in a row(and I can document that). Good luck that PayPal helped me get my money back. They never even answered or disputed the PayPal case!!

I order a cpu motherboard combo from bzboyz and it died a few month later. If you order from bzboyz you will get second rate memory and a second rate CPU that will over heat and will not run at advertised speeds.

sold me a engineering same CPU. CPU only runs @ 802 mhz. I bought it as a combo package which was a mistake. I have been told they have a 12 week wait time and a processing fee, in order to get my cpu/mb fixed. I was also told i can only use my cpu on the mb it came with.

I ordered 2 sticks of 1Gb PC3200 400FSB DDR Certified SPD memory from them. When it arrived I installed it in my computer replacing 2 sticks of similar 512Mb. The new memory is exactly what my motherboard user-guide calls for. I installed the memory in a anti-static environment. My computer will not boot up with the new memory. I have re-done the install 2 more times and each time the system will not boot up. When I reinstall my original memory the computer boots up fine. They refuse to speak to me and don't return my tech-support e-mails.

This is an awful company. Not only do they repeatedly try to make you purchase pointless options, they also illegally require you to sign away most or all of your warranty rights AFTER your order, or they will cancel your order.
There's a reason why their deals on Pricewatch seem "too good to be true."

This review is for 2 orders I made with them.
About 2 weeks ago, I order a MB/CPU combo and I declined all their extra crap when they called, and then I received a email saying my order was cancelled. I guess they didn't want to sell me the items at that price. They claimed there was a problem with my card, but I got a bunch of other stuff that I ordered that day.
Yesterday I ordered a MB/CPU combo for my parents with their CC and address, and they declined all their free crap. Again they cancelled the order saying there was a problem with the CC. My parents got a bunch of other stuff I ordered for them that day, I refuse to believe there was a problem with their card.
To top it off, I am receiving SPAM addressed to the temporary email I gave them (I know it was them because I signed up with bzboyz.com@mydomain.com), and my spam filter now blocks messages from them! This review was modified by its author, RussDraper, on

BZBoys attract customers to their web site by advertising very low prices on pricewatch.com
I ordered a mother board on their web site and the
S&H was only $4 when I tried to change the number to 2 boards the S&H became $16!!?. I did not select any of their expensive options and opted for one mother board. After making the order they sent me an email asking me to give them positive feed back now and in return they will ship me a free mouse. I replyed saying all they need to do
is just shipping the MB and I will give them feedback. I got a reply on Thu, 31 Mar saying:
As per your mail I check Your Order has been assigned for action for final double check done for information accuracy. The process carried to insure each Order is scrutinized for credit card details and to ensure accuracy to every Order shipped. If there is no problem found then an Order will go through accounting and monies will authorized. After that your Order will be sent to inventory for picking and then off to shipping department. If there are no problems in authorizing your payments, and no problems in inventory department (Like back log or cut off time), your Order will be processed and sent to shipping department.
------------------------------
on Monday April 4th I received an Email from them cancelling the order because they could not contact me !!!.
It seems that: 1) either they do not have the items they advertise or 2)they have them but do not want to sell them at those advertised prices.
Well, after seeing all that negative feedback they have I was delighted that they did not charge my card nor shipped me a DOA like they did with others. This review was modified by its author, samehmed, on

My order: CPU/Mainboard combo, case, heatsink/fan, Gold Shipping Package.
Mainboard arrived faulty. DDR2 wasn't functioning. Tested the memory in another computer, the memory worked. Tested different memory on that mainboard, same problem. Bzboyz said the mainboard is just picky. To IT professionals, "picky" isn't a technical term, computers are either functioning as designed or malfunctioning.
RMA wasn't "No Hassle" as the Gold Package stated. It took repeated calls to them and I was repeatedly solicited for 'additional fees' for faster RMA handling. For $20-$30 more, my RMA would be instant. Without additional fees they said it would take 11-13 days, even though the Gold Package indicated "immediate replacement while return is in transit". Throughout the ordeal I was constantly reminded that the problem is probably my fault and they'll probably have to charge me.
Nothing ever happened with my RMA unless I contacted them. They said they'd keep me updated on the situation, but 5 days would go by and nothing, until I called them, and not 2 minutes after hanging up I'd get an email about how I can speed things up for only $20-$30. No progress on my RMA seemed to happen until I called a manager at MicroX, gears were working within hours and my replacement was scheduled for shipping the next day. RMA issued on February 22nd. Replacement received on March 17th. No one at the company spoke fluent English, which made it difficult to clearly communicate. Before my order shipped I was offered a gift if I gave them a positive pricewatch review before they shipped it. Obviously I did no such thing, I wasn't going to mislead people for a $10 mouse I don't need. But now I know why they have such a good rating at pricewatch which is what prompted me to order. (I try to restrict my orders to companies with fairly good ratings)
My replacement mainboard works, but the overall experience was a hassle, 45 days from order until working components arrived. I won't do business with them again.
As a note, their RMA policy made me extremely nervous. It stated "No physically defective/damaged components will be accepted." Well, there's nothing that can possibly be wrong with a piece of hardware other than being physically defective or damaged! On the phone they said they mean burned from static or bent pins on the CPU, but the policy made me very uneasy.
