I was scrambling to get the anniversary present that my husband had been talking about nonstop. I looked online to see if I get purchase it locally but no one had it in stock. I then called a few online stores to check their inventory and shipping. The first few places I called said it would be impossible to ship my item on the 10th to arrive the next day (our anniversary). When I called 1 Stop I found they had the item in stock and after checking I was also told it could be sent overnight and as promised my item arrived the next morning!
It was a happy ending that started with me being ill and not being able to buy a present to finding exactly what I wanted and the company that was willing to go the extra mile to help.
Where do I even begin with my experience with this company? I was looking for a HD Flash Camcorder and after some research I decided on the Canon Vixia 200. Doing a search, I found that the best price would be at One Stop Camera. I purchased the item from their website and clicked on a link for 18 month financing offer at 9.99% and no processing fee. It was through GCAF. I was approved and provided with an account number to give One Stop. I had to call and give my info + fax in copies of 2 forms of ID. No problem. Then I was told the processing time would be 24-48 hours. Again this was acceptable. After 48 hours, I called and was told that I had to call the billing department to release it. I called and was told that they just wanted to be sure about the terms of my financing offer since there would be a 14% processing fee! I stated that the link I chose mentioned no processing fee. After a brief argument of what the website states, I was told my item would ship out ASAP. Thursday afternoon comes and again my item is still processing according to the order status screen. I call and talk with several customer service reps that give conflicting stories and was told two separate times that a supervisor was not available but would call me when they returned. No one ever did. I was also told that my item would be shipped out Thursday night. Friday morning my order status back in the billing process and I call to find out that the financing offers that they had on their website were no long valid and I would have to choose an alternate method of payment or chose a different plan with GCAF. I used the chat icon on the website to correspond with Calvin. He was moderately helpful. I was told to call customer service and the guy who answered was very rude. He siad that they don’t make the items they just sell them and if I am not happy I need to go somewhere else. Unbelievable that someone in customer service is like that. I told him that this had nothing to do with who made the item, but who processes the order and ships the item. He was no help and hung up on me. I chat with Calvin again and am told that the supervisors are still not there. He calls me and apologizes for the financing blunder on their website and assures me that their tech division is working on removing those false ads. I decide to pay for the camera with my check card just to be done with it when another guy gets on the phone. This guy is very arrogant and rude. He says it is my fault if I can’t read the terms on the website, and they were just trying to save me the 14% processing fee. I tell him I am at the website now, and nowhere doe sit say it. When I argue, he says he would just cancel the order if i didn't stop complaining and that they don’t need customers like me. He called me a thief who just wanted something for free. He would not give me his name or employee number. He actually took the phone from Calvin who was still there. This whole experience has been unbelievable. Classic Bait and Switch on the financing and very rude customer service who gives out false information. I had to apply for the credit so I took a hit on a credit request on my credit report and all for nothing. Seriously besides Calvin, this is the worst customer service I have experienced.
NOTE: One 9-6-09 was contaced by Bobby at One Stop. He has apologized and seems to want to make the situation right. Will keep you updated if he and the company has done so.
Update. Bobby has apoligized for this incident, did send me a free item, but also did suggest that I change my feedback to a more positive one. I am not completly satisifed, but happier with hem than I was.

This has been one of those too good to be true (but indeed true) experiences. I was looking for a Tamron 18-250 lens and the price range was between $469 to $499. Then I stumbled upon this site and could not believe my eyes when I say the same was priced at $289 with FREE OVERNIGHT delivery. I tried my luck, and placed an order around 3 PM on Friday. By 6 PM I got a confirmation that the lens has been shipped and while it wasn't exactly overnight, I did get the lens on Monday. My Yellowstone trip bears testimony to the fact that I got the right product. Could not have asked for better service. Not sure why this site is not at the top in google search. Please keep up this service - I am certainly coming back for more accessories! Thank you.

It was my first time purchasing from 1stopcamera, and there is a sales rep. named Calvin who helped me out so much, and so well, that my experience with them was just awesome. I was in a hurry, so I requested him to have the item shipped out the same day. Not only he made it double-sure the item was shipped out the same day, he even notified his coworkers in case he is absent. He was very patient to listen to my stories, and he sure knows how to deal with customers. Very pleasant and satisfactory. 10 out of 5 stars!
I purchased a Tamron lens from 1StopCamera. I was certainly a little concerned about buying an electronics item since I have never bought from them before. I have heard stories of people getting gray market items in the best case to getting an entirely different item in worse cases when buying from less well known merchants. Fortunately, my experience was nothing like that. I did get a call from them and the salesman asked me if I wanted to order another lens for the same price but when I refused, he didn't push any further and my order was shipped promptly. Great price and the lens was brand new, with US warranty and in perfect condition.

purchased a kodak easyshare z812 camera. great price, received as promised. advertised as new but was received in a plain white box with a label attached, and the usb cord would not fit into the camera slot. still a great bargain!

Very satisfied with my TC-P54G purchase, Excellent customer service, quick shipping and safe packing. I will highly recommend these guys and will shop again from them!
1stopcamera had a process that was a bit cumbersome, and reading some of the other reviews had me a little nervous and wishing I'd read them before I ordered, but the bottom line is that the sales rep was courteous, and fast once they got around to processing the order, and actually sold me a better TV that they could get faster, for the same price, (I'd already researched them both and knew it really was a better deal).
My advice to 1stop would be to improve the initial response back when a person orders, but I can't complain about the overal results. I got something that was even better than what I wanted.

I actually stumbled upon 1Stop after I tried to order a Canon Powershot D10 from Amazon only to find it back ordered. I jumped over to buy.com and realized the order was actually being fulfilled by 1Stop. I went straight to the source, found the camera for one of the cheapest prices out there, free shipping, and they added a free camera bag. They shipped it the next day (a Friday), and it arrived Tuesday. Camera came well packaged, in perfect condition, all original. Absolutely perfect, easy order. What more could you ask for??
