DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! I attempted to buy a camera from them. It was the lowest price by about $10 that I saw on the internet (should have been first clue). They called back and said that since I was sending overnight they needed some info. They claimed my apartment number was missing. Then they proceeded to try to sell me "faster" memory cards. I explained I had dropped the camera recently, had everything I needed, just wanted the camera. Seemed like everything went fine. The next day I got an e-mail saying there was a problem with my credit card and they couldn't ship it. It was a total bait and switch. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I bought a blu-ray player through buy.com with 1 stop camera as the vendor. Ordered product 8/18/09 and due to shipping issues with the vendor, I finally received the product on 9/3/09. During the first shipment, 1 stop camera had to intercept the product from UPS delivery due to product being damaged. 1 stop camera never communicated this to me until I inquired after a long period of time. At this time, I gave a bad feedback and review for 1 stop camera due to the lack of customer service and communication. A second product was shipped and I received it damaged on 9/3/09. The cause for the second damaged product was probably a combination of 1 stop camera packaging and UPS. 1 stop camera shipped the product POORLY boxed only in the original Sony box. This is probably the cause for the mutliple damaged during delivery. After reporting the damaged product to 1 stop camera, Bobby tried to resolve the damaged product issue by offering to expedite and ship a replacement to be received within a week. By the time I receive the product, it would have been almost a month! Bobby stated that in order for him to expedite the shipment of the replacement product, I would have to change my previous negative feedback to a positive. I refused to change my feedback as I would still not be totally satisfied. Considering the length of time already taken and both product being damaged at some point during shipping, I will never be 100% satisfied with my purchasing experience with 1 stop camera. Once I refused to change my feedback to totally satisfied, Bobby became another person – and not a very nice person. Bobby now states that the feedbacks are not a big deal and threatened that he will just delete any negative feedback. As for the damaged product received, since I did not do as he asked, a replacement will not be shipped out until they received the damaged product in their warehouse and inspected which can take weeks for him to arrange for UPS to pick up and ship. A replacement will also take weeks to ship and there is a good chance that a replacement might not even be available at which time a credit will be issued. Bobby is basically saying and threatening me that unless I go with what he says by changing my feedback from a negative to a positive totally satisfied customer, he has the power and will make my exchange of the damaged product a long drawn out process and at the end, I may end up with nothing. Go elsewhere with a more reputable vendor. Do not use 1 stop camera!

It was my first time ordering from FotoConnections.com. Their prices looked very attractive, and I placed 2 orders for Hitachi projectors. In fact, the "in stock" information indicated on a web site doesn't mean that it's really available. This company does not have their own stock and has vewry little knowledge and control over the actul quantities and availability of the product that they list. Prepare yourself to, at least, 10 min. waiting on hold for the rep. to start talking to you. If you want to verify your order, be ready for the sales pressure for up-selling stuff that you don't really need. I had to cancel one order in 3 days after I figured that it's not available for 4 weeks. The second order was shipped only in 17 days after my 4 irritated phone calls. I was fed during all this time by all sorts of stories and lies, that my projector is going out tomorrow, or it is already in transit, but nobody can find a tracking number. So, I was so irritated that I refused to receive this order, which comes damn, too late. Bottom line: if you value your time, if you consider purchasing anything for your business or project - stay away from this company. However, if time isn't an issue and your nervs are made of still, FotoConnection and all other sites of this company, will probably deliver some day.
This was my first dealing with this company. I regularly buy online from several companies but I will not be using this company again. You can certainly get some good prices here but their customer service was terrible. Getting information was next to impossible with different stories being told by each person I spoke with. I eventualy had to cancel my order and am very disapointed to have to start looking for my product all over again.
Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company recently. Placed an order for a Nikon D70s plus Nikkor 18-70mm lens plus memory card
and bag and tripod and cleaning kit.
Price quoted for the pack was excellent even beating their own website for the camera and lens only!!(obviously no intention of selling the pack at the quoted price). Received an email from JoeyG 'out of Brooklyn' asking that I call to discuss the order. When I called he says that the lens in stock was a plastic lens(?) from some unknown manufacturer and that I obviously wanted the glass lens but would have to pay more for that. When I read out the order details quoting the Nikkor 18-70mm description he got irate saying he didn't have it(this is a very common lens these days) and that I would have to wait 3 months and pay more for it when it arrived. When I got irate he said I should buy from someone else and he would cancel the order. He then hung up the phone. When I called back to speak to 'Customer Services'. Another 'salesman' picked up the phone and promptly hung up when I asked for their customer service department.
Steer very clear of these crooks, they should be put out of business as soon as possible for these practices.
I never write these reviews, but I feel so strongly here I will. AVOID these guys like the plague. They are a CLASSIC bait and switch operation. I ordered a refurbished Samsung L-300 ten inch portable DVD at a very low price of $196. I need this exact unit because I own five batteries for it already. They call and try to get you to accept a Panasonic highly inferior unit saying they are doing you a favor since this item has been "oversold" by them and is out of stock. Ah, if you don't have any more DON'T LET YOUR WEB SITE SELL MORE OF THEM! Anything other than that is just blatant bait and switch. These guys are tantamount to criminals. Pure fraud.
DON'T DO IT!!! I never take the time to write these reviews, but I will in this case. The experience I had with fotoconnection is the most blatant form of fraudulent advertising I have come across in years. I did not listen to the reseller ratings and ordered through these guys anyway and that was a huge mistake. I ordered a TV on a Thursday and forgot all about it deciding that the TV would show up when it showed up. I get a call on Sunday evening from a guy who is their "representative". Not only did he insult me with the bait and switch tactic, he actually told me that there were two television sets for the purpose of warranty and that I needed to buy the one that had the $300 warranty because it was a better product and he had that one in stock. I told him no thanks to the warranty. At first, he told me "the one" without the warranty was backordered and the only model he had was the one with the "US" warranty. When I called him on this, he became hostile and insisted I purchase the warranty. I refused and cancelled the order. I am keeping an eye on my credit card. Absolutely unbelievable.
I traced fotoconnection.com to these people. What a scam! Bait and Switch. Won't sell product without adding $3200 for the TV stand that Panasonic says comes with the TV. Wanted to convince me that Panasonic had only a 30 day warranty, when they have 1 year. Tried to bump up proice for 'insurance.' BAIT & SWITCH.
Tried to buy Sony trv 950 with overnight delivery for Xmas. Paid with Amex. When I called for tracking info they said they wanted $340 more for product. They said advertised unit was "PAL" which is a lie.

I love my camera, but I was very upset that my package did not come with a lens adapter. I purchased the largest package for the G10 canon that cme with 2 extra lenses and filters but I can not use the lenses because I can not find an adapter that fits. i ordered one online and it wasnt compatible. For so much money the package should have noted that the adapter was not included or it should have just included the adapter.

Where do I even begin with my experience with this company? I was looking for a HD Flash Camcorder and after some research I decided on the Canon Vixia 200. Doing a search, I found that the best price would be at One Stop Camera. I purchased the item from their website and clicked on a link for 18 month financing offer at 9.99% and no processing fee. It was through GCAF. I was approved and provided with an account number to give One Stop. I had to call and give my info + fax in copies of 2 forms of ID. No problem. Then I was told the processing time would be 24-48 hours. Again this was acceptable. After 48 hours, I called and was told that I had to call the billing department to release it. I called and was told that they just wanted to be sure about the terms of my financing offer since there would be a 14% processing fee! I stated that the link I chose mentioned no processing fee. After a brief argument of what the website states, I was told my item would ship out ASAP. Thursday afternoon comes and again my item is still processing according to the order status screen. I call and talk with several customer service reps that give conflicting stories and was told two separate times that a supervisor was not available but would call me when they returned. No one ever did. I was also told that my item would be shipped out Thursday night. Friday morning my order status back in the billing process and I call to find out that the financing offers that they had on their website were no long valid and I would have to choose an alternate method of payment or chose a different plan with GCAF. I used the chat icon on the website to correspond with Calvin. He was moderately helpful. I was told to call customer service and the guy who answered was very rude. He siad that they don’t make the items they just sell them and if I am not happy I need to go somewhere else. Unbelievable that someone in customer service is like that. I told him that this had nothing to do with who made the item, but who processes the order and ships the item. He was no help and hung up on me. I chat with Calvin again and am told that the supervisors are still not there. He calls me and apologizes for the financing blunder on their website and assures me that their tech division is working on removing those false ads. I decide to pay for the camera with my check card just to be done with it when another guy gets on the phone. This guy is very arrogant and rude. He says it is my fault if I can’t read the terms on the website, and they were just trying to save me the 14% processing fee. I tell him I am at the website now, and nowhere doe sit say it. When I argue, he says he would just cancel the order if i didn't stop complaining and that they don’t need customers like me. He called me a thief who just wanted something for free. He would not give me his name or employee number. He actually took the phone from Calvin who was still there. This whole experience has been unbelievable. Classic Bait and Switch on the financing and very rude customer service who gives out false information. I had to apply for the credit so I took a hit on a credit request on my credit report and all for nothing. Seriously besides Calvin, this is the worst customer service I have experienced.
NOTE: One 9-6-09 was contaced by Bobby at One Stop. He has apologized and seems to want to make the situation right. Will keep you updated if he and the company has done so.
Update. Bobby has apoligized for this incident, did send me a free item, but also did suggest that I change my feedback to a more positive one. I am not completly satisifed, but happier with hem than I was.

Revision- SO..I ordered a gas grill and did not know that it was a natural gas- not LP. I called them immediately. They seemed nice at first and said they would take it back if I packed it in the original box. So I did- imediately. They told me I would receive instructions how to return it by the end of the business day; I did not. I called the next morning.
After much discussion with the returns department, the General Manager called me and told me he would make it right. I agreed to his terms and sent it back. They did not return the amount agreed upon- were 35.00 short. I am at least glad to be finished with this transaction- all in all, an expensive mistake!

shipping arrived in time. During the buy it was showcased about a free camera bag, when someone goes ahead to buy a product of that value, I dont think he should come back to go through a whole process to get a back for it. If this service can be improved would lead to repeat business.
