Our recent business transaction with Micro Pro was a little rocky-- from our order date of 08/21/03 to their final shipment date of 09/04/03. There were initial problems with order fulfillment and shipping on their end, and several calls had to be made to resolve their errors. Dialogue with their representatives had to become rather forceful to get them to step up and take care of the time crunch they had put us under.
In the end, the customer service manager went out of his way to ensure that their errors were corrected by overnighting us the remaining items in our order. Hopefully this was a one-time thing, and maybe this was the exception to their normal service. Micro Pro could avoid these types of problems with a more accurate representation of their inventory, and better communication with their customers and between internal departments.
Those issues aside, they have very competitive prices and we’re ultimately happy with the products we ordered from them.

This company sucks! I would never NEVER order from them again and advise anyone else to stay away from them too. I placed an order online 08/22/03. I followed up on 08/29/03 after checking online where the status said it was in the warehouse waiting to be shipping. Turns out these guys don't have any of the product I ordered, will not offer any substitute and won't even refund my credit card order until Tuesday which is 4 days away. YOU GUYS SUCK!!!!

I ordered a Tyan motherboard with a Barton 2500+ CPU combo. The order process was quick and easy. Although the tracking system was not working at the time, I emailed them and they were promt to respond with an estimated date of arrival. My ordered arrived within a week from Cleveland, Ohio to Northern California. The products came assembled with a Coolermaster copper-based heatsink. I was able to overclock it to something like 2.24Ghz@50*C full load with the stock HS. This was the cheapest deal I found for my products after searching pricegrabber.com and pricewatch.com at the time. I would order from them again and advise others to do also if they live in California and do not want to pay the sales tax. Highly recommended.

I ordered ram and a motherboard. I was VERY impressed by how quickly they shipped it to me. I was impressed by how quickly I got responses when I needed to email them. Instead of them waiting for the ram I ordered, they sent me BETTER ram at no extra cost. I would be VERY likely to order from them again. When I order parts on the internet I want them shipped quickly. I also looked at the packaging. They shipped my motherboard and ram in a well packaged box. I'm always worried about that because I've been to a shipping hub. This review was modified by its author, stevensr2002, on

Awesome. These guys are great- I bought a monitor from them that I saw on PriceWatch for 214, although on their site it said it would be about 236. So I mentioned this in the buyer's comments and they brought the price right down for me. Shipping was fast, efficient. Item arrived at my house after 4 business days via UPS ground. All in all, a great company. Will definitely do business with again.

This company has serious problems with its credit card processing and its customer service is pretty much useless. If you are planning to buy from this company then make sure you have a cc with shipping and billing addresses the same, otherwise they simply refuse to accept the order even if you added your shipping address as a memo to your account. Even if you satisfy the above condition from multiple cases I have heard on the internet including mine you have about 50/50 chance that your credit card is going to go through with the same name and address as yours (they thought could not verify my correct address, hell they couldn't even say whether it was an american express or master card ;-) )... After a week of please call us tommorow, "she"(some mystical person who is responsible for credit card verification) has already left for a day (that was at 10am !!! 3 times in a row). I gave up on them after a week, moved on with my happy life, and got the same stuff somewhere else as I suggest all of you do.

Great price and fast shipping. The package did not have any packing peanuts. The DVD-RW drive got jostled during shipping. Aside from that everything was great.

I ordered a laptop in May. It took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. It worked well for less than 2 weeks when I started to have booting problems. MicroPro was unresponsive to my emails. I finally reached the service department by phone and got an authorization code to send the machine back. I sent the machine back, UPS, at my own expense on June 13, 2003. UPS notified me that it was delivered to MicroPro on June 19. I have heard nothing from them since. Their customer service department, after a very long time on hold, transfered me to the service department. After another long wait on hold, an answering machine picked up. As of today, July 3, 2003, I am still waiting for my computer. It should not surprise anyone to know that MicroPro was paid for that computer, in full, back in May. They have my money but I have no computer.

Below is a copy of an e-mail I sent to www.micropro.com regarding my recent purchase.
Just want to let you guys know that I just received my new P4 system. WOW. It's so damn fast. I am very happy with my purchase and with the price. This is the first time I purchased from your website, and it most certainly will not be the last. I was recommended to your site by my
brother,Dermot, who has purchased, I believe, four systems from you to date. Two of my other brothers have also bought systems from you, one for the second time. That is a total of eight systems bought by members of my family over the last 3 - 4 years, with absolutely no problems to report. Just wanted to say thanks and that I will be recommending your site to my friends, and when I need a new system, as Arnold would say, I'll be
back.
Great prices, great options, fast service, great fraud protection - I had system shipped to my work address which micropro would only do if I had my work address added to my credit card as a valid shipping address - great idea. So far not one of the about eight systems my family bought from micropro have failed or needed part replacement or anything, their burn in and testing program is excellent. Took order, shipped product, no problem. Thought I was getting a V90 modem but found it is V92 ready; Phoebe V1456VQE. The driver off the CD was easy enough to install, but I'm having to search for any detailed user instructions. Think I can get them off the website if not on the CD. Paid $30 for this external modem (I like to watch the flashing lights) plus $5 to get it here. Found it on Price Watch. Overall very pleased.

Ordered a Tyan Tachyon Radeon 9700 Pro-M. Everything went great. Used the "Buy Now" on pricewatch to get the card for $308 shipped. If you order directly through the website it would have been $347. They honor their, "must mention pricewatch".
