I was very happy with my PC from IBuyPowerPC. Delivery took a few days but that was expected. The gave me the 5% end of may discount plus installed for me a copy of xp home edition even though I didnt order it, Im not complaining. They seem to specialize at building reasonably priced rigs where the customer can select the components. I was able to get what I would describe as a mid to upper powered PC for close to $1000 US. I went with the Athlon 2500 cause I couldnt justify the extra money for performance of the new 3200. PLus I went with the ati radeon 9500, it was reviewd on sharkyextreme as outperforming the 9600 so had to go with that one. Great for my heavy gaming addiction. Cant wait for the new games to hit the market like Half-Life 2, Doom3, and the sims 2. (OK OK just kidding about sims 2, gag me with a spoon, I know I know.) I would recommend ordering the planatronics USB headset they offer, it makes communication in gaming much easier than having to fool with sound card issues. I did look at other vendors like Alienware, Dell, Gateway, IBuyPower seemed the most reasonable and I could get closest to what I wanted. Gee, life is good.

I am very satisfied with the computer system I ordered and received from iBuyPower. The system booted up right out of the shipping box and the only problem I had was a DOA floppy drive which was promptly replaced. I would definitely order from this company again.

The company receives a very favorable review from me. I found the price more then competitive and quality of components terrific. They allow you to build the machine as you desire, and I built a real screamer!!! Customer service worked with me every step of the way. They even allowed me to pick the PC up from the warehouse, saving shipping costs and (more importantly)time. I do wish the wiring was a little slicker, but then I'm comparing a $1700 machine to a dream machine of $3000+. I guess I can clean it up myself for that kind of savings. Nothing but positives so far.

For the most part, my experience with ibuypower has been positive. I ordered a P4 3Ghz 800mhz FSB system in May. The PC shipped a few days after the estimate, but it was only an estimated date after all. After receiving the system I noticed that the Intel D875PBZ motherboard did not have sound onboard. The website configuration said that 5.1 sound was onboard when I ordered. I emailed tech support and they said Intel changed the motherboard spec but they would send a sb live sound card for free. I was fine with this as the system was performing well otherwise. Problem solved in 3 days.  
 
One other note...after a week or 2 of having the system I decided to check out the BIOS settings. To my surprise, the BIOS was reporting that my memory was running in single channel mode. My order was for 512MB of dual channel DDR RAM. Turns out the memory was not the issue. When ibuypower built the PC they inserted the 2 RAM sticks in consecutive slots 1 & 2 out of 4 total. In order to run in dual channel mode the sticks must be in slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 according to the motherboard manual (basically there are 2 seperate banks each having 2 slots - at least one stick of RAM has to be in each bank to run dual channel). I changed the configuration and my benchmark went up considerably. Those who purchased PCs with DUAL CHANNEL DDR might want to check the BIOS and your RAM setup to make sure you are optimally configured. I concur with most others - this is an excellent buy for the experienced user and they seem to be very willing to make problems right.  
 
EDIT: Forgot to mention that the default speakers are HORRIBLE - do not order them. Either choose an upgrade on the site or buy your own - you cannot listen to music on equipment that is that low quality.

I am very pleased with my experience with ibuypower.com so far. I liked the configuration options on the web site. I was able to put everything I wanted into a computer and still see a reasonable price, especially in comparison to competitors like Alienware, Falcon Northwest and Voodoo. There were many more options than Dell and Compaq offer. I really like being able to specify every piece.  
 
I am also very pleased with ibuypower's quick response to my order. I was replacing an old computer that died last week, so I was hoping to get a new PC quickly. I requested a rush on my order and the overnight shipping option. I placed my order early Friday morning, June 6. On Monday, I checked the order status on their web page and saw that they projected to assemble my PC that same Friday, do the burn-in over the weekend, final QC and then ship on Monday. I was amazed and thrilled to see my new PC arrive Tuesday, June 10. They were right on their projected schedule. All of the pieces that I ordered were properly in place and everything worked right out of the box.  
 
So far, they get top marks for service and prompt response.

**UPDATE**  
Around mid August the hard drive on my computer died. I contacted tech support that day (a sunday, none the less) and explained about the broken drive. The tech support person took my word for it, and arranged for a new hard drive to be shipped to me... No arguements, no questions asked.  
 
The new drive arrived 11 days later. I installed it and have not had any problems since. iBuyPower even paid the cost for me to ship the damaged drive back to them.  
 
I have simply never, ever had such a satisfying experience with a company

I just recently got my new computer from iBuyPower. So far, things are great. Let me start at the beginning…

I placed my order via their website. Before placing the order I spoke with several people from iBuyPower who were able to answer my questions quickly and articulately. The online order process itself was very simple and straightforward. Since I ordered after closing my order was received the next day and went right into production.  
 
During the building process I called almost every day with various questions. The phone was always picked up within three rings, even when I called after closing. My computer ended up shipping 2 business days early and arrived 7 days later on UPS Ground (LA to Boston). -Just so you know, UPS requires someone to be present to sign for the package-  
 
The computer arrived in a large box surrounded by protective foam. All cables, driver discs, and a motherboard manual were at the bottom. The computer itself was undamaged and in perfect condition. It booted up perfectly the first time and I have not yet had any problems. An interesting note… due to the price I thought the computer’s case and drives might be a little shabby. Let me assure you, the case is made of plated steal and given a beautiful paint job. All the wires are very neatly bundled and arranged for efficient airflow.  
 
I use this computer for everyday office functions and intensive gaming. It performs like a dream on both. I am able to play Morrowind with graphics maxed out, pixel shading, on 1600x1200x32 with barely any noticeable slowdowns. Battlefield runs smooth as silk with all options maxed out on 1024x768x32. Very impressive. The computer also runs silently, even with a total of four fans (1 on processor, 1 in back, 2 on the side) and maintains a case temp of 27C while gaming and 23C while doing things like typing.  
 
Considering the speed and quality of the service, the components in the pc, the excellent performance, and the price, this computer is a steal. My dealings with iBuyPower have been better than I could have possibly expected. This one’s a no-brainer, guys!

I have ordered the Titanium-XP system on the 9th of june. I talked to connie who was very helpful with order, she explained the warranty and options that were available.  
I will chart my wait and quality of said product in the weeks to come.  
 
Well I just recieved my new machine,and i might say that it is quite impressive looking! All black rig with the blue cathode light. I will be installing some benchmarks to test the raw speed of this 3ghz\9800 pro machine! I will update when programs have been installed and also give my final thoughts and observations of this computer!  
 
Update:I had a few problems with my system locking up but after this all things are running great. Excellent design of the case.  
Speed is very fast, great for gaming.  
 
All in all i am very satisfied with the quality of the systems taht I purchased. highly recomend this company

I am very satisfied with the purchase of my computer. It arrived on time, exactly as I had ordered it. The great thing about this company is the ability to customize the computer to fit your personal needs. Everything is working perfectly and the price was the lowest on the net for quality components. I would definitely order another computer from this company again.

Great customization for computers. I love their monthly deals. You can include or exclude anything you want. I emailed them with a question and got a personal answer back within a day. They shipped out my computer sooner than expected. I have yet to recieve the computer in the mail, but I expect it this week.

Delivered my 3.06 P4 800FSB ASUS mobo with DDR 400 memory in 10 days flat-while other on line companies (who were charging more)were unable to deliver. Wow! What a terrific company. I was hesitant about ordering from a .com, but the deal I got on my computer was worth taking a chance. The computer was received well within the stated time, well packed, with all appropriate cds for all installed programs. I am not a "hardware" oriented user, so I was grateful for the icons showing what went where. Within 20 minutes, I had the system working beautifully including installation of Office, Norton and a D-Link router. I ordered a high performance gaming machine on 4-29-03. My salesperson, Karla was THE BEST. I needed the machine by 5-9 for my son's birthday. Karla promised me I would get the computer in time without paying the upgraded shipping charge. The computer arrived on May 7th. Karla was very helpfull in getting me the correct parts (I am a p.c. gaming idiot, my son is the one with the knowledge). Karla suggested the appropriate additions (I checked her recommendations with the IT guy at work)and they were apprpopriate. She discouraged me from adding unneeded upgrades also. If you need a great computer at a price that beats anything else I could find on the net. call Karla.

These guys did an awesome job!! Steve was my representitive and never once left me out in the cold. Every question I emailed or called him with he responded to same day every day, it was a no fuss no muss business deal.!! I was givin all the correct parts, as well as the packaging was supurb.
