I like the value I was able to find with iBuyPower.. similarly configured systems were 2x or 3x the price :) Another plus that I liked, which ultimately led me to purchasing was..
The iBuyPower's Dr. I Forum, where you can discuss Hardware,Software, and System Issues, and also allowing to facilitate discussions aboutDYI add-ons and whatever else tickles ones fancy on upgrading their system's themselves.

I ordered my iBUYPOWER Gamer Paladin F890 after my brother bought one. Their website makes it real easy to get exactly what you want. Lee (ext. 1142) answered all my questions and even suggested an upgrade that was better and cost less than one that I was looking at. How often do you find sales people that try to save you money?! I have had this computer for 6 months now and have not had a single problem with it. I have told all my friends to look no further than iBUYPOWER for a new rig. Thanks iBUYPOWER and thanks Lee. My rig rocks!

Bryan worked with me to place order. Order was complete and arrived and setup was pain less. The gaming system is working at great speed for my son's game choices.

I have really nejoyed purchasing from Ibuypower.com I have had nothing but great products from them and their staff is awesome as well. Bryan was my rep this time around and he answered all my questions and made sure that my purchase and shipment went flawless. I will definitely buy from there again especially with service and assistance provided by reps like Bryan. I give ibuypower a 5 out of 5

I ordered on the last day that was guaranteed for Christmas delivery, but then there was a glitch with my credit card and my shipping address. I was told that my order would not make it by Christmas, but that it was scheduled for New Years. This was quite a disappointment because it was the only gift I was purchasing for my son. But then...the computer did end up arriving several days before Christmas! I had asked Bryan after the problems were resolved if he could make sure it still arrived before Christmas, and it did!

Configuration:
Intel i7 960 QuadCore
6GB DDR3 1600
Nvidia GTX260
Liquid Cooling
NZXT Lexa-s case
500GB Drive
22x CD/DVD RW
700 Watt SLI PowerSupply
24" Sceptre HDTV
Windows 7
Ordered my computer through Bryan. Computer was received in 3 weeks. System was as ordered and performed perfectly out of the box. Follow up contact was handled promptly. I could not have purchased or built an equivalent system from any other source for the same price. Because it is a custom built system, customers must be patient, but the results are well worth the wait. Spare drive rails were not included in the initial shipment, but were received 3 days after a call to customer support. Additional 500GB drives were then added with no problems. I highly recommend Bryan and IBUYPOWER for custom computer configurations. This review was modified by its author, vern_bryant, on

Well i thought i order a nice computer total cost was 1158
MSI x58 mobo
6 GB ram
i7 920
ati 5770 1gb
700 watt sli power supply
Well when my computer got here today it was in peices and strach and dents on the case hard drive was laying on the video card video card heat sinks were bent and broken along with the front of the case dammage. Side windows was push in. Ati 5770 only had 3 video ports hdmi display port and dvi, hsi which i paid 150 on top of 280 they were going to put in it. the powersupply was suppose to be sli but only had 1 pci-e power plug. ( how you suppose to do cross fire or sli with one pci-e plug) called the CS and ask for manager and got steve on the phone expalined the problems. he like computers get dammage all the time in shipping and i expalined to him i order computers all the time for my job from dell never had a problem. he ended up getting rude over how i told him the machine is no were what i order and the dammages and wanted me to ship it back. and they will fix it and couldnt tell me how long they will have it. I ask for his boss he said he reports to the board of directors. Im thinking to my self no one in a CS branch report direclty to the director i once agian ask for his boss
he told me same story. then i asked to speak to him and he said all he can do is have me send in a letter and he dont talk to customers. i ask for his same all he gave me is steve. so as writing this letter i will be writeing to the director of the company along with the BBB.

I purchased a computer on Nov 5th for a Gamer Paladin from IBUYPOWER, and as of Jan 7th had yet to receive a working computer from them. When I first was reviewing companies I was impressed with their website design and layout as well as the number of options available for a reasonable price.
I first received my computer after 2.5 weeks but immediately found that it wouldn't remain powered for more than about 20 seconds. Upon closer examination the cooling system was nowhere close to flush with the motherboard. To add to it, it wasn't the cooling system I had purchased anyway. Not only had they not notified me the other one was on backorder, but had poorly installed the replacement. Tech support had me disassemble the computer and only then could I see how bent it was.
I sent it back and waited another 5 weeks, during which I was given 3 shipping dates that were never honored. When it finally came again on Jan 7th the power still randomly shut off and the activation number I was given for windows 7 was confirmed by microsoft as one for vista.
Customer service was alright when I called but never did what they promised. And after all that? They tried to get me to pay shipping to return it for a refund. In the end they did refund my money in a timely manner but I will never do business with them again.

Let's start out by saying I see all the negative reviews this company has gotten as of late,90% of them are due to shipping problems.
I admit I was furious how long it was taking for me to receive my pc and yes some people in customer service are clueless which was very tough to deal with. Especially when your fed false information.
I finally dealt with Danny and Brian in customer service and they were grade-A help. Danny especially went above and beyond to get my machine out to me. it turned out the machine was sitting there finished for a while just waiting on a backordered card. Dan did the right thing and bumped me up a version of the card and got it sent out.
my build is as follows:
Coolmaster 932 full case
red neon light
intel i7 920 overclocked
liquid cooling(free)
12gb ram
1tb harddrive
dual xfx ati 5850 cards
asus p6t board
lg dvdrw and some other odds and ends.
I paid about 2k for this and no matter how you slice it was half of what it would have cost from say dell or alienware etc; and i picked all the parts.
After cooling down from the shipping issues. I realized this is hand built pc and not off an assembly line so it takes time. 2nd they were busy during the holidays as is expected so extra time should be added to the estimate. 3rd if you remember before Dell, Hp, Gateway, etc; all became greedy it took a moth to get a pc.
With that being said I can excuse the long wait, but the horrible service I received from 3 individuals is not excusable. Luckily Danny and Brian stepped to the plate and delivered.
The quality of the build is very good. Ive been playing non stop on it for a week now. even though Crysis sucks I had to test it and I was amazed. 60fps and then some on ultra high. I have not one bad thing to say about my purchase. and when I had some questions I dealt with Eric in tech support who as another great person to deal with. Unlike getting outsourced from yor mainstream places This review was modified by its author, audiowylde23, on

Ordered my PC after about 3 months of checking all of the custom builders I could find, and I kept going back to iBUYPOWER. Glad I did. Fast and easy on all fronts from ordering to delivery. After purchase service is some of the best I have experienced from any retailer B&B or internet and I have no problem recommending them to anyone.

I recommend to STAY AWAY from IBuy Power. I made the mistake of ordering from them based on what they said was there build time and each week the push me back and now its next Friday and when I asked how I could be sure I was told 'For the third time Sir we don't guarantee our shipping dates'. When I told him I thought he was being condescending and I wanted to talk to his supervisor he said he was and that he reported to the Board of Directors! Bad sign, bad attitude and OMG I can't imagine how bad there service is once you get the computer. I am looking for a replacement and will cancel my order.

The IBuyPower machine was in perfect condition when I received it. All cords, cables, memory, and cards were well seated and properly installed. I was able to start the machine right out of the box without any issue.
The machine did not output any sound, and after consulting IBuyPower tech support they walked me through step-by-step troubleshooting and allowed me to correct the problem without any hassle.
This machine and my experience with IBuyPower tech support were both excellent and receive my full recommendation to any potential buyers.

After having my Ibuypower PC for a couple of months now I feel compelled to write a review for those that are considering purchasing a PC from this company. The PC I ordered on 10/17/2009 was shipped on 10/29/2009 and arrived in good condition a few days later. After unpacking and setting up the PC the only problem I found was that the main power plug on the MB had come loose during shipping. While I had the case open I examined the build quality and was impressed. I have built my own computers for the last 10 years so I know a good build when I see one. I ordered the professional wiring option, it's well worth the little it costs to get this, no loose wires anywhere (like I would have if I built it myself). I also ordered the water cooling for the cpu, this again was well done.
This PC has proven to be a great gaming and multimedia machine, it does what is supposed to do very well and is well worth what I paid for it.
I highly recommend ibuypower.com.

Recently I experienced a problem with the DVD players on my iBuypower computer. I called your tech support and Johnny Wong solved the problem very quickly. I am extremely pleased with the computer and the tech support.
Thanks, Guy Hinrichs

I wish to echo the negative comments of these latest reviews. Stay away from this business organization. This is the worst service I have ever received. Even though my order was placed prior to the date stated for delivery before Christmas, the computer was not shipped as of Dec 29th. Apparently, the case was backordered. I was never informed a part was backordered and the delivery postponed. IBUYPOWER’s payment was not delayed though; the credit card transaction was posted immediately to my account rather then when the order is shipped.
The most frustrating part was my attempt to remedy the problem with Customer Service—or really should be called Customer Disservice. To keep it short, the waits were long and the dialog nasty. These are the first customer service interactions I have encountered where the agent is more interested in criticizing me, even inferred I lied, rather than rectifying the problem—a rather arrogant fellow. I am not paying to be treated this poorly. I cancelled my order. My son went back on line and ordered a similar machine, same power capabilities, for $100 less. And he was given a firm delivery date. I am really sorry I placed my order with IBUYPOWER. Don’t be the next sorry customer.
