I just got my computer today, and it's awesome. I had a small problem powering it up, so I called tech support, the wait wasn't too bad. Johnny Wong was very helpful and very pleasant. I would definitely buy from ibuypower again, no doubt. The only complaint I have, is that their brand of keyboard, the basic one, is absolutely terrible.
*edit*
Over the course of having received my computer, I have spoke to the tech support rep. Johnny Wong. He has been incredibly helpful, very polite, and respectful. He is one of the more upstanding tech support reps. at ibuypower. He is absolutely amazing, and I could not have asked for better help from anyone else. So if you have happen to have a problem with your PC, and you happen to talk to him, then you are in good hands, as I have had the privilege of speaking with him every time. I've had a problem with my computer overheating, which is no fault of my own, for choosing my case to be much too small, and he has helped me every step of the way. I certainly hope his supervisors see this review.
Thanks a lot Johnny. This review was modified by its author, gooseaxion, on

There was an issue at the beginning when there was a problem with my original order and no one called me. But after that issue was resolved my experience with Ibuypower was and has been among the best customer service I've ever experienced.
Somehow we did not get the total ram (8 GB) that we had ordered and though they did not see how it could have been shipped without it they went ahead and sent us the additional ram.
Twice we've had service issues and both times the company and the service techs handled us in a friendly, efficient and as promptly as we could have imagined.
The last time we called in John spent a great deal of time, patiently working with my wife as they resolved a software issue that was keeping our system from working properly.
When it comes time to replace my laptop I hope they can build me a new one.

I called in because my disk drive was no longer functioning in my laptop. The computer did not seem to even recognize that I had a disk drive. When I called in for tech support, a worker named john helped me. He found the problem very fast and instructed me on how to fix it. I was very relieved that it started working again. I am also very pleased with the support for ibuypower.

I spoke to Richard Lee about upgrading the 32 bit Vista to 64 Bit to enable the use of all the memory on our newly ordered computer. He was very friendly and helpful. This is my second IbuyPower in the past 2 years. Great service and great prices.

I love my Weekly Gamer Special computer system. The price was right and it is working flawlessly. This is the 2nd computer I've bought from this company.
I commend the iBUYPOWER support staff who patiently and helpfully answered my questions. Special kudos go to Bryan who was very helpful and honest. Thanks folks, I'll be buying another one 4 or 5 years from now. This review was modified by its author, captain60s, on

RMA technician Luke is a one of a kind tech.
When i called to get help with my laptop Luke walked me thru the process with no fuss and easy to follow instructions. After dealing with other tech in other companies i prefer to deal with Luke and Luke only! Good job Luke!

I'm very satisfied with the service.
Thanks to Pauline, the agent who helped me through the process, I had my equipment shipped to Costa Rica in perfect conditions.
Payment options are excellent, which offers great flexibility.
Communication with her via email or telephone were excellent too.
I was very happy with the notification service, which kept me informed about the status of my equipment...and very excited!
Now I'm ready to play!

I was able to customize my computer completly to how i needed it and this is a great thing since loking at all the premade computers which cost so much more from major brand stores and names is a pain. I also was able to talk to Lee and figure out my shipping a bit easier since I am close enough to pick it up and he managed to wave the shipping fee for me since i was doing will call that they dont usually do. Overall i give the sompany and customer service an A+

I read alot of the reviews about Ibuypower before i ordered. I decided that their prices were exceptional and I was given an estimated ship date of about two weeks. What the reviews say is generally true. IBUYPOWER did not make my ship date. What I have learned is that if you want a premium computer, from IBUYPOWER or any similar company you just have to be patient. What I received from them, finally, was an Intel-based high end Core I7 system in a HAF 932 chassis with 12GB Corsair RAM and two Nvidia 9800GTX video boards. beyond a doubt it is the finest system I have ever owned.
I had ordered a 750- watt power supply, I guess they were out because I received an 850 watt power supply. Thank You IBUYPOWER.
What impressed me the most was the wiring. I paid for professional wiring, and I have never had a PC where all of the wires were hidden, non exposed, bundled together - A most professional job. In summary if you want a high-end system, IBUYPOWER is the place to go. It won't be fast, they might be late, You have to have patience, but I firmly believe that you will find, they put out an unsurpassed product.
I RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!
As an after thought, I needed one additional screw to fasten the accessory feet onto the chassis. When I called IBUYPOWER, they sent me screws through FEDEX. What more can a guy ask for. This review was modified by its author, jeffreycrown, on

I would like to say that the company its self, is very well built. and CS is great just as all say.
I purchased my PC on 8/10/09 and with in 2 days. Credit card Approved and Parts gathered. So from what i have read, only a few more days and it shall be sent out.
I highly recamond them for buying a game pc/or video pc. i was on a under $900 budget. yet i still got my dream machine for only %753 thats counting the $109 shipping. thats the only biggie about it. but ordering a monitor and computer and shipping both. you can see why the price is like that. so thanks IBP you guys rock!

I am writing this review as a journal of my experiences with iBUYPOWER from the beginning (almost) to the end. I placed my order on the 1st of August(late afternoon on a Saturday). Reasonably, the order was received and processed by iBUYPOWER on the next possible business day, Monday the 3rd. I was kindly called by an iBUYPOWER representative on Wednesday the 5th by the name of Lee. He was very pleasant on the phone and detailed to me that the cooling solution I had chosen for my case (a v10 coolermaster for a thermaltake armor mx+ middle tower) would not quite fit. In my haste to determine a solution, I asked if we could just upgrade the case to a full tower and in passing I also inquired if it would be possible to upgrade the motherboard to support not just Crossfire but SLI as well for an additional 29 dollars. Lee took note of my requests and I was pleased that things would be going smoothly from there on out. Unfortunately, as I researched the options, I learned that the full tower case was an additional 68 dollars and that it was a wiser move to save myself around that much to go from a v10 to a v8 coolermaster than have to pay an additional 68 to upgrade the case. As such, I logged onto iBUYPOWER's Live Chat later that day on the 5th (which I assure you is extremely efficient, pleasant, and helpful, and perhaps is better than using the phone)and reached another representative by the name of Danny. Danny was extremely patient with me and informative, confirming that the v8 would indeed fit in the original case that I had chosen (as of today, the 8th, the v10 is no longer a choice for a cooling solution). As it was the end of the work day, I believe I had kept Danny past his shift and outstayed my welcome with him... for I, in my own stupidity, did not have my Confirmation Number on hand with which he could apply the changes I had requested. As such, while I fumbled around, Danny finally headed home - understandably. I logged back onto iBUYPOWER's Live Chat, having finally found my Confirmation Number and spoke with Steve about the things I discussed with Danny and supplied my number as well (this was 10 minutes before closing). Though I was slightly frustrated at the fact Steve could not make the changes himself, with only 10 minutes to spare and the difficulty of tracking down an order, I understood where he was coming from. He did, however, assure me that he would inform Danny of the changes and even promised to have Danny call me early the next morning. I found Steve's outgoing nature to make sure things were seen through to be very pleasing and accepted his offer. The next morning, the 6th, I waited about 90 minutes into iBUYPOWER's work day and though no phone-call came, I assumed that another busy-day at the job had managed to way-lay my excellent helpers. So, taking matters into my own hands, I logged back onto iBUYPOWER's Live Chat, where I was greeted by a very pleasant lady by the name of Pauline, who informed me that both Danny and Steve were in and that I could have my pick. I went with Danny as he was the one who was originally taking care of me and he informed me that he did indeed hear from Steve and that the matters discussed were already marked to occur on my build. This, being pleasant news, I decided to inquire as to when he thought the pc might be shipped and he stated that it would either go out later that day (the 6th) or the next day (the 7th). Though these were promised, neither occurred, which I attribute to the issues regarding the hardware I had selected as well as some credit card issues for anti-fraud. That said, my expectation of a 1 day rush build (was a free promotion attached to the PC I had purchased) with ground shipping was done in a manner that I had expected to have my PC in time to go to university on the 13th. Now, being the 7th, with a PC not finished building/shipped, I was worried so I, again, logged onto Live Chat where I was greeted by Lee and where he happily said he would upgrade the shipping from ground to air so that I might get the PC in time for school (I really hope it is the fastest Air Shipping, wasn't specified, a slower one is acceptable, I suppose, as long as it makes it on or before the 13th :D). As of the 7th, the order status on their site says all the materials are complete, and it is my hope that the PC will ship out sometime on the 8th.
Current Thoughts:
+ iBUYPOWER's customer service is doing an excellent job in taking care of me.
? based off the order status on their website, the credit card has been charged for 1504.00, but I hope it is less than that due to the dramatic pricing difference between the v8 and v10 coolermasters. If not, I hope to get that money refunded down the road (will have to check into this later).
? Not sure if the motherboard change really happened, will probably log into Live Chat again tomorrow to make sure. Seemed like passing-moment idea, and I do not know if it was fully recognized.
I will update as I continue this process!
