I'm impressed with IBUYPOWER. I was reluctant at first because of some bad reviews, but IBP really came through for me. Shipping took TWO DAYS and it came from California all the way to Maryland, I did NOT pay for extra shipping. The price was great! Everything is as expected and I could not be happier. Both my mom and I will be purchasing PC's from IBP (I bought this one for my girlfriend, she LOVES it!)
John from Customer Support was great! I got Lee on TWO occasions, and he really wasn't helpful. On one occasion, Lee entered the LIVECHAT, said hello then never responded again. John was great though! Helped me solve my video input problems in about 2 minutes and was very nice!

I wanted a PC for gaming, people have told me that building a PC myself would be cheaper, but I've never done it before so I decided to buy one instead.
I looked around at many websites, and ibuypower is definitely one of the cheapest sites for gaming machines. I customized one and ended up around 2k. I placed my order on 8/8/09, it was assembled in 4 days, (I used no rush service) and I received it 5 days later after it was shipped out. This company is located in CA and I'm in MA. What was great was after you submit your order, an expert actually looks at your customization and offer you suggestions via email or phone. They recommended me to remove a meter that measures the temperature inside the case because the case already comes with one, they also told me to upgrade my power supply to make the computer more stable for extreme gaming.
They also have a feature to let you track your order status, i.e. "assembly complete", "burn in complete", "Quality Test complete", ect. They shipped the computer with Fedex express (shipping was free), the packaging was nicely packaged. One flaw was that the order status page was not arranged by date.
The accessories they offer are also very cheap, I got a keyboard and a mouse for under 20 bucks (logitech keyboard and ibuypower mouse), both are very nice. It also came with a 2.1 speaker for 8 bucks. If you are looking for high end accessories, you should buy them from another place for a cheaper price.
During the shipping, the mouse and speakers broke because they were in a separate box. I called iBUYPOWER and told them the problem, they happily replaced both of them free of charge, I didn't even have to go through the hassle of sending the broken items back.
It has been over a month since I got my computer, I am extremely happy with it, all my friends are amazed at my new rig.
As for the price, I looked up all the parts that make up my PC tower and checked the price on newegg, when I added up the prices, it ended up to be really close to the price I paid to ibuypower, in some cases ibuypower is even cheaper. But if you want a monitor, I would recommend you get one from another website like newegg because they have a larger variety for you to choose from. I got a Samsung T240HD for $300 on newegg, also very nice.
So in conclusion, if you are looking for a gaming PC and don't know how to build one, I would highly recommend this company, the price is good, and customer service is also outstanding.

My laptop sometimes does not boot and has had this problem from day 1. I am about to send it back for the 3rd time and yesterday had the worst customer service experience of my life. They refused to replace or refund my purchase and told me that if the problem never was resolved, I would just have to keep sending it back. I was hung up on once and someone even called me back and left a harassing message on my voice mail. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Despite the abusive language our reps received, we would like to apologize for any miscommunications between us. We did act professionally and attempted to be very flexible and reasonable with regard to our warranty, and we feel that we made a fair offer for refund or rebuild but it was not accepted. I just got my computer today, and it's awesome. I had a small problem powering it up, so I called tech support, the wait wasn't too bad. Johnny Wong was very helpful and very pleasant. I would definitely buy from ibuypower again, no doubt. The only complaint I have, is that their brand of keyboard, the basic one, is absolutely terrible.

Over the course of having received my computer, I have spoke to the tech support rep. Johnny Wong. He has been incredibly helpful, very polite, and respectful. He is one of the more upstanding tech support reps. at ibuypower. He is absolutely amazing, and I could not have asked for better help from anyone else. So if you have happen to have a problem with your PC, and you happen to talk to him, then you are in good hands, as I have had the privilege of speaking with him every time. I've had a problem with my computer overheating, which is no fault of my own, for choosing my case to be much too small, and he has helped me every step of the way. I certainly hope his supervisors see this review.

There was an issue at the beginning when there was a problem with my original order and no one called me. But after that issue was resolved my experience with Ibuypower was and has been among the best customer service I've ever experienced.
Somehow we did not get the total ram (8 GB) that we had ordered and though they did not see how it could have been shipped without it they went ahead and sent us the additional ram.
Twice we've had service issues and both times the company and the service techs handled us in a friendly, efficient and as promptly as we could have imagined.
The last time we called in John spent a great deal of time, patiently working with my wife as they resolved a software issue that was keeping our system from working properly.
When it comes time to replace my laptop I hope they can build me a new one.

I called in because my disk drive was no longer functioning in my laptop. The computer did not seem to even recognize that I had a disk drive. When I called in for tech support, a worker named john helped me. He found the problem very fast and instructed me on how to fix it. I was very relieved that it started working again. I am also very pleased with the support for ibuypower.

Product arrived as ordered. When I encountered a technical problem the company was quick to replace the defective parts, twice. Willing to work with me (local) to avoid shipping charges.

I spoke to Richard Lee about upgrading the 32 bit Vista to 64 Bit to enable the use of all the memory on our newly ordered computer. He was very friendly and helpful. This is my second IbuyPower in the past 2 years. Great service and great prices.

I love my Weekly Gamer Special computer system. The price was right and it is working flawlessly. This is the 2nd computer I've bought from this company.

I had been having difficulties with my order from ibuypower, mostly with my credit card, but that and other delays led to over a week passing before my pc was was built and shipped when it was supposed to have been shipped much sooner. I talked online to Jeff, he politely asked me what the problem was - he was very understanding and helped me out without argument, upgrading my shipping for free. I was very satisfied with the online support I received from him, and look forward to receiving my pc.

2nd IBuyPower purchased. First purchase was a high end gamin system three years ago and have been very happy with the system. RMA technician Luke is a one of a kind tech.
When i called to get help with my laptop Luke walked me thru the process with no fuss and easy to follow instructions. After dealing with other tech in other companies i prefer to deal with Luke and Luke only! Good job Luke!

What I am missing.
Ordered an i7 950 processor and received a 920.
Corsair power supply manual and Power Cord.
EVGA Killer Xeno Pro installation cd and manual.
Video card manual 2x though they did give me the cd's.
COOLER MASTER V8 manual.
Most of that is ignorable except for receiving the wrong processor and right now I am in limbo over that. I'll give them a few days to verify they did give me the wrong processor and credit me the difference or I'll be returning my shiny new computer.
I don't regret my purchase yet, but I'd recommend taking a second look and thinking twice before going with ibuypower for your next pc purchase.
