Product shipping delays were excessive. Shipment not complete. Still waiting weeks after initial delivery for some softward. Customer service cannot or will not provide commitment date for delivering the rest of the material. CS attitude is horrible. When I asked to elevate the call to a higher CS rep, i was told "I report to the board, there is no one else". Totally disappointed. Telling all my friends never to buy from these bozos.

I am VERY satisfied with the customer service i recived from Pauline, she patiently listneing to my concerns and answered my questions accordingly. My call was handled professionally and maturely and excided my expectations. Now lets get my comp. out by friday and make this a totaly awesome expierence =D! Great computer, no problems. They took the time to call and make sure everything would work properly together. They even upgraded the case to the correct size.
Richard Lee was fantastic in helping me with the shipping.

I was referred to IBUYPOWER by an IT guy in my University. My purchase went smoothly. After reviewing the parts on newegg, I figured that the mark up for assembly and delivery were reasonable.
As for customer services, I did inquire about modifications to my order. The call was answered immediately, the wait time for the tech was no more than a few minutes and my order was adjusted.
I would check out their site before building another fast machine because after you factor in your time and effort it might be worth it to you have it built and delivered.

Well I have been up and running on the new computer for a couple of weeks now.
WOW
WOWZER
Insane speed and performance. I will never buy another DELL computer. Dell slaps all kinds of crappy software on your new computer.
This computer is a speed demon. I can crank away all day opening and closing programs and never once do I see a slow down or need to reboot. Graphics rendering that used to take minutes are done in a couple of seconds. An amazing work tool. It has taken me time to get used to the super speed, I am used to waiting and pausing for computer to get done.
Water cooled rules.
I loved that I could custom order and have great parts installed at a very reasonable cost.
I highly recommend this company.
My son is getting tired of emails and phone calls about how great the new computer is. haha
He bought an iBuyPower computer off Costco.com and loves it.
We are old time hardcore computer users and gamers.
I am so much more productive now and get things done super fast.
Steve answered my questions and kept me up to date on the progress of mine being built.

I ordered a custom set-up build of a computer from ibuypower on 2/11/10. While selecting components etc, the website said estimated shipping date of 2/18/10. It is now 12 days later and the computer still hasn't been shipped. I have called twice. First time they assured me the computer would ship within the next couple days. After that promise was not met I called again. I'm assured that the computer will ship today, but there is no explanation as to why it has been delayed for so long. I had an e-mail 10 days ago saying the computer was in the final stages and would ship soon. Obviously I can not comment on the computer, as I have not received it yet, but I can comment that the customer service is very poor.

I have to say I am not satisfied with my computer. A month after I purchased it I upgraded to windows 7 and 2 base system divices kept stating that the drivers weren't installed. I used the CD that came with the drivers for my Notebook, and that didn't work. I called iBuypower, and they refered me to a website which had no drivers for my laptop. It's now been over 3 months and I still don't have drivers. Ibuypower is selling the same laptop with windows 7 on it, so I don't understand why they can't just send me the drivers. I've owned quite a few computers, and never had a problem with finding drivers after an upgrade. None of the tech support seem to want to help, you spend 30+ minutes waiting for someone and they try to either hang up, get you off the phone, or put you on hold. I'd say I've spoken to someone at this company for no more than 5 minutes total, including the time it took to order my laptop. So much for customer service. I was happy that they sent mme this link to write a review. I'll give them 2 stars. Customer support definitely needs a huge upgrade, as for my base system devices, I'll be going to a local computer store in Tucson when I return from my deployment. I spoke with someone from SWS and they informed me that it could be the hardware from JMicron that iBuypower used in my laptop. They were able to tell me this over the phone. Huge difference in Customer Support, they surely will earn my business.

This merchant has an extremely potent customer service presence.
- I ordered a custom built gaming PC. There was some delay between the order and the delivery, however, every query that I sent was not only answered, but answered with specifics of the entire construction process. There was a good reason for every single delay (I did order some pretty off the wall parts), and the sales team kept me in the loop on all of it.
- In Feb of 2010, my home was robbed, and this same PC was stolen. I couldn't find the original invoice anywhere (to give to the insurance company) but within 16 hours of the request, they sent me a copy of the original receipt with a personally typed email offering condolences for my loss.
As far as the retail itself...extremely high quality and when the computer arrived, a good deal of care was placed in the packing and stowing of all the equipment, to include internal protection of the hardware inside the case.
Extremely high quality merchant, they will be getting repeat service from me, (just as soon as this insurance check goes through).

I had an exelecent customer service experience with IBP. When i first ordered my pc with them i was at work and had limited time online so i made the order got my order number then the following monday called and added rush service and shipping protection. everything went off without a hitch i recieved the pc feb 24th. opened it up and i havnt been more happy with any other pc ive ever purchased before. it truely was a cost saver going with iBUYPOWER and they didnt spare any quality for the lower cost unlike some larger companies would. anyway long story short i would defently buy from them again.

well i ordered a pc from here of feb. 22 2010. i will update this once i recieve my pc to clue in on how it runs and such but now will comment on the ordering process. i paid for next day build rush and 3 days later it is now in shipping. this is a negative since i paid extra for a 1 day build but they did upgrade my shipping which will make it still show up on about the same day so really cant complain there. there costomer service is not as bad as dell/alienware but they do seem easily aggitated. this could be for the fact i called in everyday. i would also like to say i ordered an alienware 2 mo earlier it was still on backorder so maybe they felt my aggravation which in return made them a bit aggravated. although i have not got this yes the quality should be what any diy person should ecpect. these parts are all the same as whats on new egg and for them building it cost me 50 extra dollers not bad. at this point i give them 4 out of 5 stars because they didnt hit the deadline i paid for. although when i get the pc if everything is how it is suppose to be i will say 5 out of 5 cause 3 days and a bit better componets is alot better then alienware 2 mo backorder with not as good a rig.

My son had me buy my first computer from Ibuypower last year and the experience was so good I bought a second system this year. The website is easy to understand for a 50 year old and the PC we got last year has worked great. Thanks Lee for all your help.
