I bought a Olympus SP-560-UZ, 8.0 Megapixel, 18x Optical/5.6x Digital Zoom, Digital Camera and was very satisfied. It came with everything they promised and even though I ahd a similar experience with them trying to sell me batteries and the like, I politely refused and had no problems. They have the best prices on the web and if you only order what you want you cant go wrong
DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BROADWAY PHOTO!!!!!!!!! This company is a scam!!!!!!!! I didn't see all of these reviews before trying to make my purchase, but I really wish I had. I had the same experience with these jerks as everyone else. They told me that I purchased the "Japanese" version of the camera and that I need to pay an extra amount if I wanted the "English" version. Then wanted to sell me an extra battery because the one that came with the camera only lasted for 20 minutes, I said no that's ok I'll just recharge it every 20 mins. After all of this I just got a really bad feeling and I told the guy you know what just cancel my order. He got pissed and said you're wasting my time and now you're probably gonna hang up and try to order thru prestige and waste their time, well don't bother b/c we're the same company! I said who the *&%# is pretige? He responded saying "look lady don't say anything stupid I have your credit card information"!! THESE GUYS ARE WORTHLESS!!!! I REPEAT AGAIN DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!
Satisfied customer. Ordered a Canon A570IS camera. Received emails involving original order, order processing and shipping. Shipping email included a UPS tracking number. Received order on 8/9/07 as promised. Camera was new, in original Canon packaging and included a Canon warranty which I have fullfilled over the internet. Canon confirmed the warranty.
So... It is the first time to me to be here in the USA, originally im from Russia. Im a student at the moment and a participant of Camp America Programm. I haven't my own digital camera yet, so i decided to buy it, it was Canon S5 IS. And sure i was looking for the best offer. I found it, it was in bwayphoto.com, but it was even the better offer on wisetronics - less then 300$... I decided to check if they are scammers or something. And yes they were... A lot of bad words about this reseller. So i decided to buy in a certificated and customers trust awarded store (according lowpricedigital) bwayphoto.com... After I ordered it ive recived an email, they asked me to confirm my order by phone... Strange... I havent a free minute that day anyway so i called them later, but b4 i called them up ive got to know that they r scammers too >.< ive just wanted to check - it was too late... Damn. Ive been ready to quarrel them if they will try to push me usless things, but after i waited online about 5-8 minutes the guy asked my order number, i told it to him and he said "Enjoy ur camera" and hanged up the phone. Hehe. Then i recived the email that my order was shipped and they didnt taken a penny more then 397 $ (camera cost is 350 + 29 tax +18 shipping), and in a 3 days (cause of sunday) it was deliverd by ups! Camera is awesome! Everyhing is included! I dont know why they didnt scammed me, mb cause i used a credit card of my firend and he is a jewish :)))) Mb they afraid of jewish ppl? :D The only thing that i was diappointed by is their "present" its not looks like 149$, its more looks like 5$ >.< Thats all! Dishonest. Not to be trusted. I purchased a Nikon D80 Camera from them, spent $1590 and got a camera with an invalid serial number that came in a box that was not in very good conditions with no Nikon warranty. User's Guide was a cheap photo copy. Nikon was able to confirm that the product was not meant to be sold in the US. Per their own Customer Service department 90% of their products are Grey Market, but they will not disclose it up front. Customer is manipulated into believing that he/she is purchasing a product that has manufacturer's warranty. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. Bad Choice...I was stupid enough to do it.
I ordered a new digital camera from these guys, within an hour I received an e-mail to verify my order and believe it or not y order was shipped out by the end of that day! When I received it was exactly as described and packaged well, in excellent condition
One of the products I wanted was on backorder, but the customer service was very good about getting it in quickly , it only took 2 weeks for them to get it in and I received it a week after that, they kept me informed along the way of what was going on.
I purchases a fuji s5200 camera from this company before i read all of these stories and began to become worried I would be ripped off. I am reporting the total opposite. In fact I am very pleased with the experience I had. My camera arrived in 3 days WOW. Will buy from again.
I read mixed reviews on this site but figured I would give them a shot because they had the lowest price for the lens I was buying. I called to ensure that the order would go out the same day and it did! I even received it from UPS, two days early (but I figure that's a pat on the back for UPS).
The product was brand new, in box, and wrapped in plastic. It works great! I would buy from them again.
I got good service from Adam. It took the item longer to arrive than had been projected, but it arrived in good condition and at a very good price. I'd deal with these folks again.
