I purchased a digital camera from this company back in August and I was very dissatisfied with my experience, I wrote a previous review on this. Now I find out that they sold me a "non-US" model and they state they advertised it as this. However, I purchased this over the phone with a rep. who knew I lived in the US and never made a mention of it. The Non-US model is incompatible with US computers so it makes the movie portion unusable. I did not know what the problem was at first. I finally called panasonic this week and was told I was sold a non-US model which should not be sold in the US. At first they did not respond to my request and said there was nothing they could do. But after filing a complaint the issue was resolved as follows: they promised to refund me the price of the camera, I will not receive a refund for the $25 in handling and insurance and I am responsible for the cost of return shipping.

I SPENDED ALMOST 1 HOUR ON THE PHONE BECAUSE MY ORDER WAS LOST IN THE COMPUTER SYSTEM (W3277646) AND THEN BUT MY MONEY WAS TOOK FROM MY ACCOUNT BAY PAYPAL.  
AFTER A WEEK MY ORDER WAS DELIVERED.  
THE CAMERA WAS AS I SPECT.

This is not the first time I buy from Broadway and each time I got a positive experience, especially this time: I got an international trip on this Satrrday, but noticed last Friday that my camara was broken. Then I rushed in and found a good one (Panasonic ZS3) from Broadway with a good price. I was worried that I won't be able to receive it before I leave. I made a order (with three day delivery) and called Broadway on Monday, talked about my concern. They shipped my order on Monday and I received it on Tuesday. This is really amazing and I am very happy about it. Really a marvelous service!  
By the way, Broadway usually offers a good price and I always go to their site to compare before buying.

I just wanted it to be noted that I spent time this morning on the phone with Ronald confirming and in the end modifying a camera order and he was AMAZING!!! In today’s world where customer service is usually a joke he was a wonderful breath of fresh air. So extremely nice and helpful! Ultimately because of his attitude and helpfulness I spent an additional $500 with your company. I have always been a Broadway Photo fan, ever since I bought the original Canon Rebel ages ago. And this experience just reaffirms why you guys are the only way to go! Thank you so much for daring to stand out and be different in a world that has quit investing in excellent service.

I ordered an Olympus E-620 2 lens kit from Broadway Photo. The pricing was the best that I could find anywhere. The customer service more than satisfactory and their shipping was extremely fast. I ordered my camera on a Thursday and it was shipped the next day. The package contained everything I was supposed to receive and in excellent condition. My experience with this purchase was great and I would recommend this company for online purchases.

I am very satisfied with the service I received from Broadway Photo. I ordered a DMC-Z3 Panasonic Camera on Tuesday evening the 13th of Oct. I called the next day to confirm the order and was treated courteously. I was told that the order would be processed and shipped that day or the next. The following day I got an email with a tracking number. I tracked the package and it had already arrived in my general area. Unfortunately it was Friday and I had to wait until Monday. It came in 6 days after purchase. Free Shipping worked out great. The product is exactly what I ordered and I am very pleased. I would recommend Broadway Photo to anyone looking to purchase a camera.jrod

I have purchased several camera's from Broadway Photo over several years and have been pleased with all of them and the prices. I would check reviews on the camera's that I thought I wanted to get and then would look for the lowest priced places and I always came back to Broadway Photo. I have recommend Broadway Photo to others that are looking to buy cameras as well due to the pricing satisfaction that I like. I could not of purchased some of the digital cameras that I got from Broadway Photo, if I had got them someplace else.

This is my fourth time purchasing a digital SLR camera in the last 8 years from this company. I called and spoke with Eric to place my order and he was efficient, professional, and informative without being pushy. He patiently explained all of my options and came up with the right camera outfit for me. My order went smoothly and my camera arrived the next day (today)...two days before promised. Every sale experience that I have done with Broadway Photo has been top notch. I highly recommend their store...and Eric.

I orderd a nikon d90 kit from broadway photo and the product was dead on arrival. I figured this would happen from reading all the bad reviews online. I saw on their website that they were under new management so i called right away. I spoke to customer service and they set up the exchange for me with out any problems. I sent the camera back they even refunded me for my return shipping as well. My new camera just arrived and its perfect its a full usa model. This company does have some bad reviews out their but obviously they are under new management bc my exchange went through perfectly. Thanks Broadway Photo.com

I was hesitant to purchase from Broadway because of the reviews I read online. But shopping with American Express, I feel that I am protected in the event of any fraudulent activities. Well I called and spoke to the sales rep and he confirmed that my Camera was a US Model, Brand New, Not refurb, has OEM lens and is covered under US warranty. I decided to shop around and could not find a lower price for a US model. I called around 6pm on Wednesday evening to place my order. I used 3 AMEX gift cards and my own AMEX card. I was asked once if I would like "any memory cards or batteries"; and I said no. I inquired about shipping, because I would have liked it before the weekend, however I didn't want to pay for overnight. To my surprise the camera was delivered on Friday at 9:30am with the free Ground shipping. 39 hours later. Awesome. I called Canon and verified that the unit is in fact a US Model and brand new not refurb and they confirmed. I checked my credit card and the correct amount is pending; not posted yet. I had probably the most pleasant and easiest experience with Bwayphoto. The exact opposite of all the bad reviews. I would definitely recommend. Oh, 1 more thing; I didn't get a shipping confirmation email right away, so I inquired via email and I had a response within 30 minutes via email that it shipped and I could expect the email. It did come thru about the time that it was scanned for departure from UPS. Absolutely great experience and best price. I'd be glad to talk about it and recommend. Email me; serpentine009@msn.com

I am happy with the purchase that was a Canon T1I. The process was smoth. Of cours the salesman offered many other item that I declined. I just bought what I want. I manage to save more 100 bucks on the camera.  
When they send the camera they forgot to add the glass filter. I call them and it was shipped 2 days after.  
I will recomend

Despite their web site reassurances, my order was delivered when I was not at home and was simply left on my front step. Just lucky we live in a nice neighborhood and everything was still there when I got home. The packing slip showed my camera's price at $688.99 and additional memory card 4 GB (high speed error free) at $0. This was not correct. I bought $599 Panasonic HDC-SD9 Digital camcorder and was later called by one of their reps and talked into a memory card for the video camera for $89.99. I was surprised that the price was so high, since digital camera memory cards never cost me more than $30. He told me that Broadway Photo have "best possible price guarantee" and that a regular digital camera card will not be good enough. On that last subject - not one day after my order was delivered, I got an e-mail from Broadway Photo encouraging me to buy accessories for my new camcorder. Ironically, on the list was 4 GB high speed error free memory card for my camcorder listed at $35.99. (!) In fact, searching through Internet I couldn't find anybody selling 4 GB card for $90. All of them were around $30.  
 
In conclusion: I will not be ordering any more merchandise from this store and feel I was simply cheated to the tune of over $55 by their sales rep, who called my home under a guise of confirming my order and address, but who instead spend 10 min trying to talk me into buying additional accessories at exorbitant prices.  
After I posted this review, I was contacted by Broadway Photo with an offer to refund some of the money and with extra deal on the guarantee. Brian, of Broadway Photo tried very hard to change my mind about his company. In view of his efforts, I revised somewhat by rating of Broadway Photo. It is sad, however, that only after I rated them low on this service did I get any response from this company.

STAY FAR FAR FAR away from BROADWAY PHOTO. They sell defective products, have extreme poor customer service, and do not back the products they sell. I bought a $400 waterproof digital camera, that did not work as promised. After being told to send it back and they would replace it. almost 2 weeks went by before I emailed them again and they said they would not replace it, they sent it for repairs, they did not get in touch with me, i had to track them down yet again. still do not have a camera back, they have this website dedicated to how horrible of a company they are that i unfortunately found after the purchase. I did finally get through to someone with half a brain and they finally gave me a refund. Only because they were so concerned with the bad review I gave on this site. SO all in all I would stay away from this company unless you want a long drawn out hassle. If you do decide to try to order talk to Brian G. He is the only person that actually cared about the product he sold.

Addendum 09/16: THIS HAS GONE FROM BAD TO WORSE; received a call from "Brian" from Broadway photo after posting a complaint on this site. I told this person specifically what I wanted as a resolution to this situation. At no time during the conversation did I feel that he was even listening to what I might have to say. There was two offers of "product" which I did not have a use for, and as a result was told that there was a certain amount as a maximum that he would allow. It became obvious to me that this person as representative of Broadway photo had no interest in anything other than having the altar or remove the negative feedback on this venue, which I considered insulting.  
Since that time, I had to specifically request a delineated bill from these folks, even though they had my e-mail address, and my credit card had been charged 12 days previous to this request. I then called AM home delivery for an update on delivery and was assured that I would receive a call Sunday night confirming Monday delivery. At 6 PM Sunday, I phoned these folks, and was told that delivery had been rescheduled for Wednesday, and that there was nothing that they could do about it. What I then informed them that it was my intention at that point to cancel the order, and/or refuse delivery if it showed up at any point other than Monday, 15 minutes later I got a call back saying that because they did not want to lose my business, delivery would be made as promised. Delivery was then made on day 20 (delivery was promised from 7 to 10 days).  
Again, Excuses, yes. Service, no. I'm reminded of a Middle Eastern proverb: after the sale is made, the customer is of no sixteenths value. I'll not order from these folks again.

Ordered Mitsubishi LazerVue from these folks. Between the time of the initial contact with "Eric" and an exhaustive conversation regarding price, delivery, etc. (approximately 4 hours) I decided to order. At that time I was told that the price had gone up $400. I was told by the representative that he would stay with original price, but insurance would be 4%. I was then promised a delivery of 7 to 10 days. On day 13, I inquired as to why the product had not been delivered, and was assured that they would expedite the matter and advise me of the results of their efforts. On day 14 I again called and was told that delivery may be made on day 19. In every instance where there was a problem, it always seemed to be that I needed to be transferred to someone else, and/or it was someone else's responsibility. Excuses, yes. Service, no. I'm reminded of a Middle Eastern proverb: after the sale is made, the customer is of no value. I'll not order from these folks again.
