I ordered a mobile hard-drive on a Tuesday and it was in my east-coast home on Friday. Item arrived as advertised, packed very nicely, and at an excellent price. This seller should have a higher rating.

Speed of light service! I never experience such a fast and cheap service with an online merchant. I have ordered a motherboard, CPU, ram, 2 hard drives, and a video card from Googlegear on Friday 10am PST. I got all 6 items on the following Monday. Hasn’t mention I live in Hawaii and I only paid $3.50 shipping cost (most merchant excluded Hawaii for discount shipping). I have told all my friends about this. Please keep up the good work! I will definitely do business with them again.

Bought a SONY DSC-S75 digital camera from them last month. Smooth transaction, fairly cheap price and brand new product with American warranty. Will buy from them again.

Fast service, with e-mailed response at every step (order confirmation, payment verification, order packing, shipment) and immediate notification of tracking number. Order placed Monday afternoon, and I received it Thursday mid-day (I live in Maryland, Googlegear is in California). Shipping charges minimal on many items. Would definitely try them again.

Ordered 2 80GB ATA/133 Maxtor hard drives and a P4 2.26GHz Retail processor on Monday July 8 - got here today, Wednesday July 10 - impressive - it was well packed and I received exactly what I ordered. Thank you Googlegear - I wish all resellers operated like this - will definitely order from you again!

I Orderd a new CPU and ram at googlegear. The parts where shiped out the same day and i got them on the 2nd day. I will buy from googlegear next time i look for computer parts.

Great merchant! Product was well paked and delivered in a timely manner. I will make future purchases with googlegear. If I have any complaint, it's just that the web site is a little too slow for my liking. But everything esle was excellent. Googlegear gets a 10 from me!

I ordered an Asus A7V333-WR motherboard ($145) and an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ w/fan & heatsink ($155) at great prices and they had free FedEx 2nd day shipping. I placed my order on a holiday weekend. Monday it was processed, packed and shipped arriving only two days later. Googlegear also had the lowest price. YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT! THANKS!

My order was processed very quickly by googlegear. Everything on their side went smoothly - as usual. I tracked my package and it seems FedEx played around with my package for a couple extra days before getting this to me.

This has been without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had with an online firm.
I placed the above order on 07/08/2002 and received a confirmation email - on 07/09/2002 I received an email confirming that the item had shipped and was given tracking # 607313484551 - later I received an email from RMA dept telling me the card was backordered. (I find out it's on backorder after the site said it was in stock, after it was supposed to be packed and already shipped, after you charged my credit card)
On 07/09/2002 I cancelled order # G1179913 and asked for a refund...which RMA rep assuured me it would be done immediately. On 07/12/2002 the credit had not shown up in my account and I placed another call to your service dept where once again I spoke with the same RMA rep and she told me that the credit had been processed on 07/11/2002 (after telling me that it would be done immediately).
It is now 07/15/2002 and the credit has still not shown up in my account. I placed another call to your service dept and was told the the credit was processed on 07/12/2002 (after being told it was processed the day before).
This would not have been a problem if you were up front with me in the first place. A charge that took you less than 24 hours to put on my card has now taken a week to credit...and I have yet to see it. This series of outright deceptions and poor customer service has changed my outlook on what I had believed to be a reputable company.

Have purchased from GoogleGear in the past with absolutely no problems. However, this last time was a major exception.
I placed an order on 7/8 and received the email that it was being processed - I then received an email on 7/9 stating that my order had shipped and it included a FedEx tracking # - later on 7/9 I received an email from their RMA dept., telling me the card was backordered and not expected to be in stock until 7/12.
Now usually i can understand such things, but a few aspects really ticked me off. The site said the card was in stock - I expected that. Then, I was told it was shipped. After being informed my item was on backorder, I called the service dept. only to find out that they had already charged my credit card. This was totally unacceptable to me. All the reasons in the world do not change the fact that they confirmed the shipping of my item and then charged me for it and then turn around and tell me that I'll have to wait another week or more to get what I already paid for.
As I said, in the past I have had nothing but good service through GoogleGear...this incident has forced me to shop elswhere for what I need and I'm not sure I'll return to GoogleGear if this is their standing policy.

Customer feedback is very important to our company and we will definitely look into this situation immediately. The item in which you had ordered should have been in stock at the time the order was placed but by the time the order was processed and ready to be shipped out, it may have sold out. Shipping labels are generated when orders are processed, therefore a tracking number is assigned to each package prior to being packed. If an item happens to become sold out after the order is processed, it is quite possible that the tracking number was posted but item was not shipped. Although this does not rectify what has occurred, we do feel that an explanation as well as an apology is appropriate. Therefore, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience in which this may have caused and hope that you will consider shopping with us again in the future.

I buy equipment for a midsized company and I have used alot of different hardware sites and Googlegear has the best quality parts at the best possible prices all in one site... Instead of ordering my parts from several sites to get the best priced quality parts and having lots of shipping charges from several sites.. And the fact that they use fast and dependable 2 day Fed Ex is a great service. I recommend Googlegear to anyone ordering computer parts on a regular basis. Great Job you guys!

Placed a large, multi piece, order early in the day and received shipping info the next morning. All parts had shipped the day of the order. Very fast from order to ship. Will shop again.

Googlegear really SUCKS!!! Their pricing is competitive, but their service is totally crappy. They offered free 2nd Day FedEx shipping with my order, but then they proceeded to wait 5 fricking days to process my simple order of 1 hard drive. What's the point of asking for 2 day shipping the order ends up taking 9 fricking days to get to my house!??! That's a bunch of CRAP!!!! I order from Directron alot, and they ship my order the same day if the part is in stock and I place my order early enough in the day. So why does it take Googlegear an entire week to 'process' my order?!! Not to mention their website is as slow as a turtle stuck in molasses in 20 degrees below zero temperature. To be quite honest, I find these other people's ratings of Googlegear to be quite bogus. I find it very hard to believe any of them based on my own experience with these guys. Googlegear SUCKS!!! Use Directron.com Directron is a great company to buy from, starting from order to receipt of product. Their website is
great, their service is outstanding, and you get what you ordered as fast as you want it to come.
