Sold an item as in stock, marked the status as "Packed". I find out now two days later that they *NEVER* had the item and wont have it for a week. I could have ordered it from someone else but now it is out of stock everywhere. I feel very betrayed and suckered, I will not be purchasing from ZipZoomFly ever again, STAY AWAY!
Fast shipping. Cheap price for the hardrive. they sent me the rebate form when i asked, they emailed it then. got it as soon as i talked to them. had to call to get it, forgot to get it, to get them to send it to me. good shipping.
Don't believe what their website says about item availability and shipping.
9/17- order placed
9/18- order marked packed (website says should ship later that day)
9/21 order still says packed; no shipping information received. I call and they say the item is back-ordered. They cannot explain how it could have been packed if it was on back-order. Web site still lists the item as in stock and shipping within 24 hrs. Says nothing about being back-ordered. Customer service rep says she will check on estimated shipping date and call me back. I get no call, so I call back and cancel the order. They will not provide a cancellation number and do not provide an email confirming cancellation until I file a dispute with Paypal the next day . I will not use them again.
I received immediate email acknowledging receipt of order and when the order would be processed. As promised, the order was processed on Monday and I received an email giving me the shipping details. Excellent speedy service and good communication on the process!
After a slight delay in shipping(1 day) the package was shipped out with an estimated delivery time. The customer service of their ebay seller was pretty good. I contacted them multiple times and received a response fairly quick with good explanations of the current situation. After the shipping delay I was credited a 5$ refund credit.
The product did arrive on the estimated delivery date once it actually shipped and arrived in NEW condition and is working great.
The only thing that really scared me about this purchase was the lack of knowledge about the shipping delay. The responses I received about this delay included lines like: "I don't know why this delay occurred". I little more information would have been nice instead of keeping me worrying about my order.

I've ordered a few times from these guys in the past and never had any problems with them. I can't comment on customer support since I've never had to bother with that. Maybe I'm just lucky.
I placed an order on the 15th, and it was shipped out the next day and arrived on the 18th with no problems.
As an online merchant myself, I realize how much more likely an unsatisfied customer is to write a negative review than a satisfied customer writing a positive review.
After making the decision to purchase a netbook, I settled on the ASUS EeePC 1005HA-PU1X-BU. Shopped around for the best price. Found a good deal from ZipZoomFly which included free shipping and a $20 mail in rebate. So I placed the order.
Sept 14th: order placed. Item was listed as in stock and "usually ships in 24 hours"
Sept 16th: the order status finally changed from pending to "packed"
Sept 18th: order status still shows as packed.
I grew concerned with the fact that the status has not changed to shipped and call their customer support. The woman who answered was polite, however, she informed me that the unit was on back order. I asked why I was charged and never informed of the back order. She could not provide an explanation. She offered to cancel my order which I promptly accepted.
I requested written confirmation of the cancellation as was told this would not happen. My order status would be updated by Tuesday to reflect the cancellation. I will have to monitor my credit card and look for the refund.
So much for the good deal. I should have stuck with Newegg.
Sending defective items, and charging you shipping + smug and misleading customer service! You can see the steady decline of the customer satisfaction over the years. Will never buy from them again! Ordered a graphics card, which arrived dead. Asked customer service what to do, they said send it back, we will cover the shipping. Then they declined to cover my shipping, providing smug responses. Do not order from them unless you want to get robbed.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. I bought a product that had great reviews (laptop computer). Did all my research and found the best price on this site. The laptop they sent me turned out to have a bad keyboard. I returned it to them to have replace the unit. Instead of replacing it, they told me that their returns department found nothing wrong with it.
When I called them to dispute, I spoke with their Customer Service Manager. He couldn't resolve the issue for me and aside from that, he was incredibly frustrating to talk to. I felt like I was being scammed because they wouldn't give me a working unit nor did they let me talk to anyone else except for the customer service manager who couldn't handle the problem. They kept pushing back the disfunctional unit to me and said that it was working properly.
Luckily I made the purchase on an AMEX card. Their customer service is great! I told them the situation and they told me not to accept the unit when it was returned to me. They refunded my money and told me they would handle the issue with zipzoomfly.
Delivery time was excellent. Store was acceptable. I am really upset that they "partnered" with a seriously scammy ad company (came up as a pop up before the order page would show up "save $10 on your next purchase, it'll only cost you $13 per month". Uh, no. I think I'll stick with their competitors.)
Good luck ZZF. I will not be purchasing from you again while you have said ads. Please, by all means let me know when those ads go away, and I'll consider giving you a second chance. If you're willing to "share" my info with them, then I'm willing to "share" my opinion of scammers and scam facilitators.
Terrible! I recieved a box containing a power supply and nothing else. No cables, no manuals, nothing! Site clearly states it's a retail package and that it includes several cables. I am unable to use my new computer because I have to figure out what to do next. I may have to spend another $80 to buy ANOTHER power supply just so I can get the cables. I politely sent an e-mail to ZZF containing my order number and asking for help and they said they were "unable" to look into my case any further. That's it. Didn't provide any suggestions or help whatsoever, just flat out refused.
Tell me with a straight face an online electronics resaler doesn't keep a record of every single transaction it's ever made. Bull**** you're "unable" to look into my order.
I've always been a loyal Newegg.com customer and I thought I'd try someone new because the prices seemed competitive. BIG MISTAKE. If you're going to buy computer parts, do yourself a favor and buy from Newegg.com. Much better customer service is well worth the extra couple bucks you may or may not pay.
If I lived near Newark, CA I'd be driving over to ZZF's HQ to pitch this PSU through their window.
Very bad no wonder they used to have a different name on the website.
they send me a different product and after I returned it they charge me 15% stocking fee when I didn't even open the package the package is new and they will sell that to someone and I get charged.
This is my first and last time that I buy from this company.
I am an IT manager, and my technical level is very high.
Bought and received laptop, and it blue screens (BSOD =Blue Screen Of Death) several times per day.
Send it back, and they would not offer me replacement, stating that warranty skicker is damaged (and it is not). I asked for refund, and they won't even think about that.
They said to wait 2-3 weeks for manufacturer to do extensive testing. College just started, and I am looking at close to a month without a laptop that I paid for, at best.
I just filed a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau), and I am contesting the charge now with my credit card bank.
I will not buy from them again, and will advise others to avoid them, as well.

I purchased from ZZF even though I have heard negative things about them. The item was incompatible and the manufacturer stepped up and corrected the issue, but what ZZF did in their return offer was simply devious.
After speaking with their representative regarding a return and even willing to eat the restocking fee, I was told that I was past the window to return the product even though I had only has the product for a few days.
The long and short of it is that their counting for day of return starts the moment the item is purchased. Not shipped or received, but the time you order it. By the time they actually processed the order, slowly since I did not pay for a timely processing, and shipped it, the majority of my return window was gone.
It gets even better. According to the representative, they return days count includes Saturday and Sunday. They justify this since you can apply for a return on weekends so such day count in return counter.
Odd that the same cannot be said for refunds. When it comes to refunding your money, it is business day only that are counted.
There is a reason that ZZF doesn’t participate here. CNET certification is a joke. Shopper.com uses eopinions.com for ratings. EO is a bigger joke being admined and run by volunteers who are notorious for silencing opinions and reviews they do not agree with. Even then, look at the recent positive reviews on sites like EO and PriceGrabber. One-off positives with little details in most cases.
Even with all those suspicious positives, take a look at the more recent reviews. More and more are negative. I wonder if ZZF will drop other cites once their ratings drop?
