Best price around on the product I wanted, and they had a rebate. However, they are inconvenient as hell with their "order verification" procedure. I was unable to use my normal credit card because of their billing vs shipping address policies. I used a different debit card to avoid the hassle, and they STILL held my order. Great prices, but it comes at a price.

So I decided to buy a HIS 5850 from zipzoomfly seeing that they are the only ones in stock with the item. The next day my item was listed as "packed" and stayed that way for 3 days. So I finally called up to see why they haven't shipped the package yet and i come to find out its on back order. So they charge your credit card, do not keep you notified on the status of your order, and continue to show the item as "In Stock" on their website (they finally put it as being out of stock 2 days after my order was placed). Thanks for wasting my time ZZF, and losing a customer.. I knew I should of just stuck with Newegg.

Worst Customer Service Ever! Do not order from these guys, especially since there always exists other online vendors with similar stock and prices. Even if another company is a few bucks more, I would Stay Away from ZipZoomFly  
 
I must comment on not only the poor service I received from the company itself, but also from the customer service "Supervisor" Michael.  
 
My order has been stalled for almost a week, listed as "packed" under the order status. Basically, the order was processed but not shipped (like an online purgatory) Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my order like a idiot. Never did I receive an email alerting me to the fact that the item was now "back-ordered", until I decided to personally called the company to inquire about my order. Michael told me that they ran out of the item a few days ago, but they were expecting new ones soon. Apparently they were content with simply letting me stew in my own ignorance. Now, keep in mind this is in direct opposition to their written online policy to email customers and allow them to cancel should an item become unexpectedly back-ordered. This is all in spite of the fact that my credit card was charged immediately after my order.  
 
When I purchased, I paid for expedited shipping (2day), so that I may have my order by the time I needed it, which obviously did not happen. When I asked when I would receive my item, he told me he couldn't say exactly. In this day and age, especially with tracked expedited shipping, how can he not know that? How can he expect me to wait around, while plenty of other online merchants conduct better business more quickly?  
 
When I asked to then cancel my order, "supervisor" Michael told me he could put in a cancel request to the warehouse, but cannot guarantee anything (what the heck does that mean?) When I asked to speak to someone else, he stated that he was the only one I could speak to. At no point was any attempt made to rectify the company's error or poor service. I had to ask for an apology. Basically I was told that maybe my order would be canceled, or maybe it wouldn't, and that no one in the company could do anything more than that, at least according to Michael. Please keep in mind that they charged my credit card 4 business days ago. They were basically holding my money hostage, not sending me my order, and refusing to tell me what was going on.  
 
The idea of ordering from a smaller company is that they should be able to offer better customer service, not worse. This was a terrible experience ordering from them, and it certainly won't happen again.

ZZF started handling and offering their own rebates instead of marking the items down. ZZF believes the odds are in their favor that we will not file or we will screw up the rebate paperwork. For those whom do file a rebate with ZZF don't ever expect to receive one red cent.  
 
It has been over 100 days since my rebate was mailed and it took over a month to be approved, I don’t ever expect to receive this rebate and if I do I will update this post. I have made no new purchases from ZZF due to the non payment of this rebate and I will continue to BOYCOTT Zipzoomfly until I receive the monies promised.  
 
This whole rebate industry is one giant scam built on the theory that we are lazy, forgetful and will not take the time to mail the rebate.  
 
Their is no reason one cannot receive his rebate in just a few weeks especially with ZZF since they already have the documentation that you purchased the item within the correct time frame.  
 
Poor customer service ZZF.  
 
@ This time I would advise all too just take you business elsewhere. Other Companies whom can be found on the net have excellent customer service and are actually interested in satisfying their customers.

Purchased an XFX 9500GT video card from ZZF. The VGA cooler on the video card didn't work properly and I was having trouble getting XFX to give me an RMA for the card.  
 
Thankfully, I spoke with a nice helpful CSR at ZZF, her name was Jennifer. She helped me get my card replaced. She was very diligent in calling me back after checking into the situation. I can't say enough about how well I was treated.

Stay away. Bought the zerotherm fz120 heatsink/fan from them when there was a $20 rebate on 09/03/09. The rebate form can still be found here:

If you click on that rebate, it clearly shows that it is valid until 10/31/09. However, when you try to redeem it at the url listed in the form, the date change to 08/31/09, making my purchase ineligible. ZZF offers no help to resolve this issue and can only reply "offer ZER_5008" is only valid when ZER_5007 is valid until 10/31/09. Sure, offer ZER_5008 is valid, but is only $10, not $20. Worst customer service ever. Will not buy from again.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've encountered. Ordered a Asus Netbook that was immediately discovered to have a separating case on the screen. Returned it via RMA and was informed that they could not find the defect. And there was no manager to speak to for a week. No one in authority at all. They would not refund the cost, they would not allow me to speak to the the "highly trained RMA "staff". They would only send it back to Asus for inspection. So 3 weeks from the date of order, nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS.

I placed an order for two items that were "In stock" on a Thursday morning. They should have been boxed and shipped that afternoon or at least by the next day. The items showed as boxed and just sat there unshipped until the following Tuesday evening, when Fedex finally received the electronic invoice to pick up the package. THIS IS UNEXCEPTABLE!!! The entire wait time is going to be 11 days. HORRIBLE!!! I would have had it shipped the same day if I went to NewEgg.com like I should have. I will not order from you again unless I get a coupon for this inconvenience.

Sold an item as in stock, marked the status as "Packed". I find out now two days later that they *NEVER* had the item and wont have it for a week. I could have ordered it from someone else but now it is out of stock everywhere. I feel very betrayed and suckered, I will not be purchasing from ZipZoomFly ever again, STAY AWAY!

Don't believe what their website says about item availability and shipping.  
9/17- order placed  
9/18- order marked packed (website says should ship later that day)  
9/21 order still says packed; no shipping information received. I call and they say the item is back-ordered. They cannot explain how it could have been packed if it was on back-order. Web site still lists the item as in stock and shipping within 24 hrs. Says nothing about being back-ordered. Customer service rep says she will check on estimated shipping date and call me back. I get no call, so I call back and cancel the order. They will not provide a cancellation number and do not provide an email confirming cancellation until I file a dispute with Paypal the next day . I will not use them again.

Like others have posted, ZZF will take your order, take your money, have the order sit in 'Packed' status for several days when they have no stock and the item is on back order. In my case, about a week later they emailed me to say the item is not available.  
 
So their online inventory system is poor, and their method to charge people in advance is very, very poor. I will not shop here again (and now I'm waiting for the money to come back through ebillme, which hopefully is not a complete pain on its own).

Ordered ASUS netbook 5/23/09. zipzoomfly.com sent order confirmation 5/24/09. zipzoomfly.com website shows order is in packaging 5/24/09. Credit card billed 5/26/09. Recieved email dated 5/29/09 from zipzoomfly.com that product no longer avialable. 6/2/09 I inquire customer service as to solution and why was my credit card billed when product not available. Response was they could offer a lesser model at $10 less than my original order but no response as to why I was already billed full original amount. told them to cancel order entirely. As of 6/3/09 their website still shows original order in packaging and my credit card still billed original total amount Now I have to go through the credit card dispute proceedure for something that is entirely this unscrupulous dealers fault!!!!! BUYER BEWARE OF ZIPZOOMFLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

My complaint is not about their service, that was fine. My complaint is for their selling of my info to ReservationRewards.com who went on to scam me out of $24.00 in debit charges. All this under the guise making it appear to be associated directly through ZipZoomFly.  
 
It's not enough ZipZoomFly doesn't post a phone number on their site to call directly, but they also sell your credit info to the highest bidder who then charges you for some BS online rewards scam.  
 
I will never use ZipZoomFly again and I will do my part to make sure no one else does until they get their act together by doing 2 things...  
 
1) They put direct contact info such as Phone# and address in a clear and easy to find link, like every other reputable reseller. To not do so is shady as hell.  
 
2) Prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they have severed all ties with 3rd party scammers like ReservationRewards.com...  
 
Until then, it's war!!!!!
