I was looking for a new digital camera and had decided on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3. Checking the net for best price and found Broadway Photo. Checked ratings prior to ordering and decided to give it a try despite some of the bad ratings, knowing that some people just cannot be satisfied. Received excellent service, no high pressure sales, item shipped and arrived when they said it would. Excellent communication via email to keep me informed of the status. THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST - I have purchased everything on the web and this is the worst company I have ever delt with. I wish I had found this site first but I didn't. I placed an order for 3 cameras, 2 flashes and some small accessories. I got the call for a "confirmation" of my order and after three calls, with no call backs from them, I finally got through with a long hold and two hang-ups.
The salesperson confirmed my ordered, try to sell me all of these accessories (many came with the cameras) and when I refused, told me that these were international editions and that if I just took the time to look at the web site, I would see this. I checked the web site and no mention of international edition. He also told me that all of the menus would be in other languages with no English Menu ( a lie ).
I just cancelled the order, wrote a confirming email cancelling the order. Rude, deceptive, bait and switch, etc, etc. The WORST company ever. I've gone back to B & H, paid a little more but got what I wanted professionally. Stay Away from Broadway and affiliated companies

I ordered a Nikon Camera from these guys. I did have to call back confirming my order, but, instead of the "High Pressure" sales tactics I read on this site, I was only asked if I had any questions or needed anything else. I said no and that was it. I tracked my order the following day and it was on backorder. I called and explained I did not want to wait and please cancel my order. They did and gave me a cancellation # and a confirming e-mail. I would definitely consider them again.

I did a lot of digtal camera research and AMPhotoworld had the best price. I called my order in. The salesperson was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me his ex # said if I had any problems or questions call him. I ordered on 1/11/05 and it came from NY to South Jersey in two days.

I ordered it early monday morning and got emails confirming it was ordered, packaged, and shipped, got it the next day.

They tried to sell me a memory card and I had read the reviews here that stated high pressure sales...that was not the real case...they know that Canon does not ship a 32mb sandisk card with refurbished cameras, and told me that I would need it.
I declined and ended up picking one up locally (I wish I had listened to them lol)
I have since bought 2 lenses, 3 filters, a camera bag, 2 tripods, and a cleaning kit, rechargeable batteries and a 256mb sandisk card.
I will say that this was my best online purchase to date:)

Placed order on December 20, 2004 and received camera on Dec. 23, 2004. I was able to use this new camera for Christmas pictures. Customer service called me to clarify order because I accidentally ordered the wrong camera. They clarified what exactly I wanted and still got it shipped on time. Customer service followed up again via phone call to make sure I was happy and to let me know that everything was in order.

I originally orded a Kodac DX6490 Digital Camera with docking statin for my wife for christmas. I then called to confirm and was offered a battery upgrade option which I accepted. When the camera came it was for far more than I originally planned. I called and spoke to customer service and was offered a "fix" that seemed more than fair given the circumstances. I am extremely satisfied with your customer service recovery. I will not hesitate to do business with you again and refer others to your site. Keep up the good work. Thomas C. Deck

very helpful products as described and very fast shipping when order arrived battery was missing i called them and they are shipping the missing battery i will be telling all my family and friends about their site smooth transaction!!!!

I was extremely pleased with this company and the product they delivered (2 Pentax Optio Dig. cameras. The delivery was extremely fast, esp. for the holiday season. My son's talked me into buying a Sony DVD camcorder from another company and I have been having nothing but trouble from them. I did not check their ratings before I purchased which were all extrememly negative. Any future purchases will be made with A&M Photo World. I highly recommend them

I had a very bad experience with the sales team (Tony) in this company but i still ordered my camera and when i saw my invoice i was even more shocked. Then i spoke to a customer service rep named Richard and he took care of everything made my experience with A&M Photo World Much better..

I ordered the Kodak CX7530 and the dock accessory online. I did recieve the "contact us" email. I called and confirmed the order. The respresentative did inquiry as to other possible accessories which I politely declined, and he did mention another "bundle deal" which sounded good, however, I also decline. He confirmed the total price, which was actually a couple shipping dollars cheaper than the website and wished me a happy holiday. I even called back to reconfirm the price and he was pleasant then also. I received a confirmation email that the order was shipped and received the items 3 days after I placed the order. The experience was hassle free and pleasant, service was good, and I received the merchandise much quicker then I expected. The item is a gift so assuming the merchandise works and they back up their sale, then overall I'd say my experience was very good.

I bought a Canon Powershot A80, ordered it on Saturday night, and received it on Tuesday morning. They offered me the best price and package for this camera, but after having read some of the other reviews that talked about delivery problems, I was in two minds as to whether to order from them. I'm glad I did - I saved over $100 on the local store price, and received it in just over one working day! I'd definitely recommend this store.
