I ordered 2 WD1200JB HD's from All Star, who happens to be listed as AllStar Microelectronics on RR as well (and they have a greqat rating there as well). The transaction was great. I ordered them with no problems and the shipping was extremely fast. I ordered two HD's from Newegg (not to discredit Newegg, they are a great company as well) for my friend and had them shipped next day air and I ordered from All star the same day and used Fedex saver and my drives arrived only 1 day later then the drives I have next day aired! It was so fast it was like I had ordered next day shipping. I would deal with them again in a heartbeat.

I ordered usual; motherboard,case,processor, video card etc, order was shipped right away everything just great,no problems and price was good. Would buy from them again.

purchasing is good, returns are bad

well I ordered over a year ago but the experience was so pleasent I decided to write about it now.  
 
ordered a bunch of parts from allstarshop.com, since they had a high rating and descent prices.  
 
there was a problem where with my credit card, but the allstarshop rep (Lisa) called me and sat in on the phone call while I called the bank and helped me resolve the issue.  
 
I was truly impressed that they took the time to deal with a problem that was essentially my banks fault.  
 
Probably one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had.  
 
I gladly recommend allstarshop.com to anyone who is looking to order online.  

I purchased five components to upgrade my system. A motherboard, processor, fan, and memory. I put in the order at 3:07:23 PM and UPS picked it up that day! Delivery was on time. I checked closely to insure the components were new, they were. And everything came up and running first time. One of the best online purchases I've ever made. I only found one other dealer that had the specific parts I wanted at a lower price. But I studied ResellerRatings to insure a reliable dealer and it really paid off. They had over 200 entries, and a rating of 6.3 at the time. I will never buy electronics online without first checking ResellerRatings! Outstanding web site!!!

I orderd a stick of 256MB CL2 Kingston RAM from AllStar and despite ordering late in the day (3pm) recieved a shipping confirmation within 3 hours. My order was shipped quickly, well packaged and without incident. Price was quite good as I recall. Would order again if the price was right.
