I spoke with Rick at X5836, and he did an excellent job of resolving my issue. I had purchased a hard drive (manufactured by Seagate) that failed after less than five hours of use, and when I tried to return it to the manufacturer, their policy stated that they replaced drives returned under warranty with reconditioned drives. I didn't want that since the failed drive was brand new and less than 60 days old, so I detailed my situation to them. They gave me a cursory response reciting policy. I then decided to contact TigerDirect to see if I could exchange it with them, even though it was past their 30-day return period. Not only did Rick accommodate my request, but he made it easy and effortless for me to resolve this issue, and it was one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. I am very satisfied with the service Rick provided, and I will always choose to work with him in the future whenever I need to contact TigerDirect Customer Service.
