you have issues with inventory, my order was not filled and no sure date that it could be filled was given. So i ordered it from another company. this is the second time i have had problems with your company. You will not be my first consideration when ordering computer parts any longer.

I use Tider Direct for most of my computer products. Their Business has always been fast and easy to use. I average about 1500 to 2000 dollars a year in online purchases. Most of these are at Tiger direct. I recommend them highly

I've dealt with TigerDirect.com for many years now, and I've always been happy with every purchase that I have made from this company.  
 
They have the best prices available anywhere, and they are quick to process and ship most orders.  
 
They also do a very good job in handling returns and replacements.  
 
I wish every company out there did things as well as TigerDirect does. Every other company out there today, could learn a thing or too from the outstanding way that TigerDirect conducts business.

Ordered a few items today 07/24/03, clearly on the invoice sent to my email it says UPS 2nd Day, well when I go online and check my order lucky me, they sent it ground... I didnt get charged extra for their mess up from what I can see so that is a positive.

Stuff was delivered in only 4 days over a holiday weekend. Everything I ordered was in the box. It all worked well. This was my first computer build by myself and I am thrilled with the results. I figure I saved about half the local retail cost and the availability of the items I wanted was better. Total cost for a "new" kick-a machine was about 1/4 of the pre-built local cost.

I just ordered a PNY 256MB USB 2.0 flash drive (with $20 rebate). I received an unbranded generic flash drive which did not match the upc code on the rebate form. My order confirmation listed PNY as the maker, but the actual invoice in the box mentions no brand. This was a classic bait & switch giving me a generic product instead of the brand name. They emailed a new rebate form with a matching UPC code (doesn't say PNY anywhere) but that same UPC code matches a usb 1.1 device as well!? They tell me it was made by PNY, but there is nothing to show that.  
 
I also have found by researching Tiger Direct on line that many people complain about never getting their rebates either. Based on other comments, I don't even trust them to refund my shipping costs to return it -- I asked for a prepaid shipping label and they refused.  
 
I consider Tiger Direct a dishonest company and I would never order from them again.

Online ordering was fast and easy. In the past there has been a problem on the order confirmation page while the credit card was being verified. The page would hang but the order had been approved. This time the ordering process was perfect. The item shipped two days after order.

Bought a case and power supply and got a great price. Everything received in short order and with good speed.  
 
Really enjoyed my shopping experience and would definitely use Tiger again.  
 
Their website doesn't have the broadest selection and not always the best price on every single item but, definitely one of the shops that I will use to comparison shop and wouldn't hesitate to use them if they have the best price.

I was looking for a Seagate ATA V (Mfr. Part# ST3120023A) specifically because it is rated the quietest HD available. Found it at TigerDirect and verified that the product info page explicitly mentioned this part number before placed my order. However, when I received the shipment, it was the same brand and capacity but different model (Mfr. Part# ST3120022A).  
 
I called the RMA department. The person answered the phone was very polite (Gerdy Carballos). He checked the web site and verified that the part # listed on the web is not the one I received. He said they have the model I need and issued an RMA and an exchange request without any problem.  
 
The exchange arrived in 2 days and again, it was the wrong part #. I called the RMA again. This time, the part # on the web site has already been changed so I had a little hard time to explain it. Since the CSR thinks TigerDirect does not have the model I need, he did a return RMA.  
 
Both time I was promised that the RMA shippings will be refunded in 2-3 days after I fax the receipt. I also verified that they will refund the initial shipping cost I paid since I am not on fault.  
 
Here is where the problem started. They credit back the cost for the hard drive but not the shipping cost. I faxed the receipt to the correct fax number and waited a week but didn't see any refund, nor the initial shipping cost they promised. I called in and discovered that 1. they did not sent the request to the accounting to refund my initial shipping cost; 2. the fax got lost and was never recorded in their system.  
 
I faxed the receipt again today. I has been more than a month since I placed the initial order. I am somehow frustrated although I do believe TigerDirect is trying to do a good job. I'll see how long it takes for them to refund all of my shipping costs.  
 
 
UPDATE:  
Just been contacted by Humberto from the TigerDirect. Wow, that was a very quick response. He politely apologized for the inconvenience and did the refund over the phone immediately! I am very impressed with the fact that they show great care on their customers and the most importantly, TOOK THE ACTION!  
I know we all make mistakes. What matters the most to me is that TigerDirect worked with me and try their best to resolve any issues. Given this, I've changed my rating to very satisfied and I'll say I am very likely to order from them again in the future!

Ordered a DVD writer and had to return it due to it not working. Sent back via thier RMA process, STILL have not received my money back. Its been a month and all they offer is excuses, "It will be 3 more days", "Only a few more days", "We had to send a check". Never once got the same answer from these guys. Long hold times no matter what time you call them, customer service reps who don't seem to care.  
 
I should have come here first!  
 
DON'T BUY FROM THESE GUYS.  
 
 
**UPDATE: I sent the person from TigerDirect that replys to some of the complaints here an email and he promised(via telephone call to me) to send my check TODAY(7/24) via priority mail. Will update again when I get my refund check and it clears the bank.  
 
**Update2: Recieved check as promised on Friday 7/25. Seems Humberto Vallejo is somebody there willing to help. If only the rest of the people there were as efficient as he is. Still can't recommend them but at least Humberto stepped up to the plate which is rare these days.

Buying experience was smooth. It would have been good if the the shipping costs were added to the order as the order was being built up. After a part has been added to the order list, its better if that took you back to the original page when the continue shopping button is hit.
