My experience with Power Notebooks was VERY positive. They have a great deal of knowledge of what they do and were very helpful to me in making an informed decision on purchasing our computers. We will definitely do business with them in the future!

My sales rep, Donald, was extremely helpful when i was buying my laptop from them.  
 
He even let me know that processor prices were dropping soon, and that if i would like to wait a little while longer in order to get a better processor for the same price.  
 
He also informed me of price drops in hard drive prices, and refunded me accordingly  
 
All in all, i'd say Power Notebooks has VERY good customer service, and i would reccomend anyone looking for a laptop to at least check them out first

I did research on the net for a week before I contacted Powernotebooks.com. This was a major purchase for me and I wanted to find someone who would work with me, not pressure me, explain things and not try to sell me things I didn't need. Donald at Powernotebooks.com is that guy. When I told him I was interested in a Sager 9280 he asked me where I wanted to use it. I told him at home and in the car, as I need a computer in the car for my business. He recommended the 8662 because of the wattage draw of the 9280. How many times do you see a salesman try to "sell down". This lowered the price and that sold me on the company right there. I bought the 8662 with the new P9700 processor and I could not be more pleased. These guys look after their customers, have the lowest prices and give good advice. I kept waiting for the negative side to show but everything stayed positive. I will be back (hopefully not soon).

This was my first time utilizing Power Notebooks services and finding a word to describe my satisfaction with their work is borderline impossible. The Customer service is absolutely second to none. Friendly, courteous, and reliable are understatements. There is no doubt in my mind that my next laptop will be ordered through them. Amazing work Power Notebooks, and thank you again for your assistance and service.

I just purchased a Crown H4:16 from Powernotebooks.com. Donald spent a little over an hour with me answering all of my questions (I was the one that finally ended the call as I had to get back to work). I ended up with a price that was about $800 less than what I had planned on spending per Donald’s recommendations. After doing a little more research (mostly reading reviews here), I decided that I’d be foolish to buy somewhere else. I called Donald the next day and placed my order – I had a few more questions, which is why I didn’t order it online.  
 
The laptop arrived right when I was told it would and everything in the order was correct. I ordered it without an operating system and on a Saturday evening I had to call my 24/7 tech support number with a configuration question. A tech answered on about the 3rd ring and gave me the information I was looking for. The whole call took less than 5 minutes.  
 
I will most definitely buy from them again and have been telling everyone about my great purchasing experience.

I would like to report a delightful experience purchasing a laptop, a Sager NP9262 from Donald Stratton at PowerNotebooks. I found them on one of the forums, checked their status here, and called. Donald was most helpful in answering my questions. When I decided to order, he again was extremely helpful, patiently answering my questions, and guiding me to the proper configuration to fit my needs to a T.  
 
The computer was delivered in the time promised and it has exceeded my expectations. A few follow up questions were promptly and graciously answered.  
 
If you need a notebook that is in the PowerNotebooks stable, don't hesitate for a minute to give them a call, and do business with them.

It is very rare that a vendor would take the time to speak at length with a customer AFTER the order has been placed to inquire in depth about a customer's needs and then actually suggest changes to an order that resulted in a better fit (a more powerful and more flexible laptop) AND at less cost.

I just purchased a Sager NP5793 for my son. (Sager makes a premier machine) While ordering the computer, I spent well over half an hour discussing with the account rep how I wanted the machine customized. He was extremely knowledgable and helped me find just the right balance between cost and performance. He didn't get antsy to take the next call nor did he get impatient as I thouroghly "picked his brain" to make the right choices.  
 
When my son recieved the machine, he called all his friends to tell them how awesome his new laptop is. This purchase was a grand slam.  
 
The machine was well packed and protected and showed up two days earlier than expected. No dead pixels and truly smokin performance.  
 
I guess I should also mention that, out of curiosity, I shopped the exact same machine at four other reputable sites, including the Sager website, and as I expected, Powernotebooks was the least expensive quote.  
 
This is my seventh laptop purchase from Powernotebooks since 2002 and on every occasion, my experience has been just like the one described above.  
 
As an online shopper who has had good and bad purchasing experiences, I can honestly say that dealing with Powernotebooks is easily the most satisfying shopping experience I have ever had.

I'd been shopping for a new gaming computer for almost a year before ordering a Sager 9262 from Powernotebooks. After owning both a Dell and then an Alienware, I was very frustrated with poor customer service, as I would call in with a problem or question and usually get someone who did not have a full command of the English language or whose depth of knowledge was limited to the checklist they were running. So good customer service was a top priority for me. When I came across Powernotebooks, I was first impressed by them being a Christian company, as indicated by their slogan. Their prices were extremely competitive as well, sometimes dramatically less than other laptop suppliers. Their tech support is located in the USA, not outsourced, and is staffed with properly trained technicians. Now I haven’t had to contact them yet, but I found these two facts to be very encouraging. I feel very confident that should I have to call them, I won’t be disappointed, and I base this on all the way I’ve been treated by the customer service representatives. First, I’ve never had to wait to get one on the phone, secondly, they always answer my emails promptly, and finally, they have all been some of the friendliest people I’ve ever spoken with. It’s wonderful to find a company nowadays that “gets it” when it comes to customer service. I’ve been very pleased all around with Powernotebooks, would highly recommend them to anyone based on my dealings with them so far, and almost assuredly go to them for my future laptop purchases. These guys rock!

Ordering from PowerNotebooks was extremely convinient. They rushed my order so that I received it less than a week after paying for it (even though I had chosen ground shipping). Every time I e-mailed with an issue or question, both about their products and the best way to pay, they got back to me within minutes. Best of all my laptop is beautiful (and of course works perfectly)! I had choosen to order from them because three of my friends got their laptops from PowerNotebooks a few months ago, and they are extremely happy with them, so I knew I'd be getting as good of a deal.  
I highly recommend purchasing here, as they are extremely willing to help, as well as explain what each part of the computer does (for those of us who dont' really know the difference between a 32bit and a 64bit computer), and because the laptops are pretty, work great, and I have yet to hear a complain about them.

Being a gaming enthusiast I wanted a laptop which could run most recent games of high settigs. When I made up my mind to buy a laptop my biggest challenge was to find a laptop in decent price range with enough power to play games like Bioshock and Crysis on decent FPS.  
 
I have to admit I was a little hysterical in the beginning when I placed my order with powernotebooks.com, reason being most people dont know about them. So my friends kept telling me that I might have made a mistake for choosing such a company over Dell or HP. But it was just initial hesitation and once I placed my order their representative was alwasy there to help. I always recieved answers to my queries via email in less than 24 hours, which is simply amazing.  
 
The hardware config which i recieved from powernotebooks for around 1500$ would have cost me more than 3000$ from Dell. And it is not even available with HP.  
 
I think i have a top of the line laptop for a very decent price.Bioshock runs at 1024 X 768 High settings (no AA and Vsync off) and gives above 60 fps.
