Nobody beats provantage's prices. I love the "Variants" tab when trying to compare like models.

Good Company over all. Product available is above average.  
 
Shipping times are quick.  
 
Pricing is some of the lowest around.  
 
Shipping cost is a little higher than most e-sellers.  

The website have great selection and have comparable price on selected item. Returning items can be a little complicated.

Provantage advertises REAL-TIME STATUS on orders. But in +2 months, the status never changed from "IN PROGRESS. Awaiting confirmation by regional warehouse".  
 
All estimated ship dates were provided by e-mail.  
I'd contact Provantage (by e-mail) the night before each revised shipment date, only to receive a response the next day the product would not ship. I'd then have to request a new estimate. It must be difficult for customer service to track missed shipment committments, when they don't enter the e-mail updates in the actual order processing system.  
 
When the revised e-mail shipment estimate slipped to 07/24/2009, I cancelled the order and purchased from another vendor.

Provantage is a mainstay for me when purchasing equipment.  
 
Pros:  
They have highly competitive pricing, excellent shipping options, and very good selection. They are very consistent with stated lead times for shipping.  
 
Cons:  
The layout and function of the site is less perfect. I often find myself searching hardware elsewhere to find the manufacturer's part number, and then using that number to search Provantage. Service is decent, but wait times are occasionally long, and occasionally the wait for a response is long as well.  
 
Overall:  
A good company to do business with. I keep them bookmarked.

I ordered a Microsoft Explorer Mini Mouse from ProVantage online on Wednesday afternoon. I received confirmation immediately and a FedEx tracking number later that night. Friday morning my package arrived. You just can't beat that! Their online store was easy to use, check-out was a snap and the price was better than any other store I could find! The order was placed on 07/06/2009 and when we contacted Provantage for an estimated shipping date the response was: "The estimated shipping date for this item is 07/30/09."

Order was handled very promptly - the same day! A Provantage representative called me to confirm the order and tell me it was shipping that day. He indicated the warehouse it was coming from and the shipment method. The only glitch was with the shipper (FedEx) which gave me problems with delivery. Even with that, delivery was extremely fast. The product arrived in good shape and was completely as advertised. Great price and great service! I was somewhat apprehensive based on some of the reviews I read of this seller but my experience was 100% positive.

Package arrived within a few days after order was placed, using the ground shipping (cheapest) option. I order most of our toner through provantage since they are about the cheapest when considering the item cost plus S and H, and they are reliable. Charges are always clear, and their website is easy to navigate. I recommend them.  
 
Different Order: I ordered some HP plotter printheads and printhead cleaners. One of them failed. A replacement printhead was at my office within two days. Great customer service.
