After several orders in prior years I was surprised to see all the recent negative feedback. However, it all appears to all be surrounding one item (PNY6800video card). They errored. Too much so to eat the costs. But there other feedback is as expected. I purchased anyway and received the same excellent service I had in the past. Immediate shipment, quality packing, email confirmantions with invoice & tracking info.... great vendor as I remembered. Thanks Provantage!

Placed an order for a backordered brand new and in short supply 6800GT at $339 (fantastic price WELL below any other store). I very much appreciate them honoring this price even though it took a little time to ship due to manufacturer delays...it was backordered afterall.  
 
Communication was always quick and cordial. I've order thousands of dollars worth of stuff from them before but this was the first test of their customer service and they came through.

I ordered a Contour Shuttle Pro 2 early Friday afternoon, August 27, 2004 with the lowest (and presumably slowest) shipping charge. The following Monday, I received it already. Combined with the lowest price out there, I was very satisfied with Provantage. It's puzzling how there are many diametrically opposing reviews of them.

I order Visual Studio Tools for MS Office 2003 on 8/25/04 and received it on 8/26/04. Even NewEgg isn't this fast. Price and product availability were exactly as described. I am highly satisfied with the product and the service I received from ProVantage.

Great service! I ordered it Wednesday afternoon and received it Thursday afternoon. Price was good too.  

I too was a victim to their bait and switch tactics with the 6800 GT. I won't be ordering from them again, nor will I be recommending them to anyone asking advice on where to shop online. Do not order from these people, their business ethics are questionable at best.  
 
They have since corrected this and are honoring the original advertised price for those that were on back order. Very pleased that they did this. Thanks Provantage!

First time I used this merchant. Happy to report that I had a pleasant experience. Packaging was a little skimpy, but item arrived unscathed. I would buy from provantage again.

I am completely satisfied with the service. No hassles. Got exactly what I ordered and when they promised it.  
 
I ordered the Sandisk Ultra II CompactFlash 512mb. One of the lowest prices found on the internet. All the similarly priced websites had much lower ratings.

A Belkin UPS was ordered for my father, and I was shipped one that was apparently a customer return (dented, scratched, inspection seal broken, & bad battery according to Belkin specs). I was rather furious over this. Thanks to Kathy Z. from Provantage, she took care of everything at no cost to me and I had a new Belkin unit that week. She was a joy to work with, and it's really a shame that all online vendors don't have people like her. Thanks to her, I see no reason to not order from them again.
