My first experience with Provantage was as good as it gets. I had to buy a very expensive software package (for me, at least) and I spent perhaps two months trying to decide on someone who had the best combination of a low price and a good reputation. I finally made the decision to go with Provantage and was completely pleased. They said it would take a couple days to ship the order and it would be another 5 days or so for the order to arrive. Imagine my surprise when I received the completed order in 3 days. There is only one other online retailer of which I am aware (Newegg) that has this combination of low price and fast delivery--probably because they have the items in stock. I suspect many dealers do not actually stock everything they sell. Anyway, I give Provantage a double "thumbs up" and would purchase from them again without hesitation.

I recently bought a fUnc inudstries Archetype 1030 from provantage, and I must say I am extremely satisfied with the service I got. The mousepad was the cheapest around, with very little shipping cost compared to most places. I chose 5 day shipping and recieved the pad in 3, packed very well and in perfect condition. Thank you Provantage!

I ordered an avermedia tv box on Monday, got a tracking number on Tuesday and received the product on Thursday. Packing was very secure and the price is great. No hassle, no bait and switch tactic. I definitely would recommend them and would return to buy in the future.

The order went extremely well. They had a great price too! I ordered on Sunday and the order was processed and shipped by Monday (just received it today). The product was as advertised and securely packaged too.

Our company has ordered from Provantage from a while now, as they have the cheapest price for a particular part we use frequently. On accident a couple weeks ago we ordered the incorrect part (it was a PCI card VS an external USB version), and I had to contact customer service for an RMA. To my surprise I had no problems, Adrienne was very courteous even when I told her it was our fault for ordering the wrong part. She issued the RMA with no questions! We have since shipped those items out and placed another order for the part we usually need.
The only thing I dislike about Provantage (I don't know if it's this particular item or just our location) is the shipping takes a while. They first have to get the item shipped to their main warehouse in Ohio, then turn around and ship it to us in CA. Of course this takes quite a few days. This was my first purchase from Provantage and, much to my surprise, it would have to rank as the quickest shipped order I have experienced. I placed my order on a late Friday afternoon before leaving work and when I checked my email that evening I had received a shipping confirmation and tracking number containing a time stamp within one hour of placing my order. The item, a notebook PC network card, arrived Tuesday morning in perfect condition. Will not hesitate to order from Provantage again.

I needed a new monitor when my 17" CRT began to act flakey. I settled on a 17" Samsung. They had the best price and the shipping was reasonable. I was blown away when the monitor was delivered in one day. They do state on their web-site that they ship from the closest regional warehouse, so I probably have one close to me. It was a pretty painless process and I would order from them again.

Very prompt order processing and shipping. When I placed the order I accidently hit the enter key twice. I immediately realized I had duplicated my order, and just as I reached for the phone to call Provantage customer service, one of their order processing employees called me to confirm if I really wanted to order the same items twice. Within an hour I had been emailed an invoice with a link to tracking numbers. The only glitch on Provantages part was that they only gave me one tracking number when the order actually shipped from two locations. When I received the first item from Fed Ex, I called to let them know the order was incomplete. I was told that the remainder of my order would arrive later that same day by UPS. It arrived about two hours later. I was very satisfied with my experience with this vendor and would gladly do business with them again. Their customer service reps are very personnable, responsive, and easy to reach by phone. Their prices are very competitive overall even though their shipping costs seem a little high. In this case the shipping cost could have been high because the order shipped from two locations.

Awesome service. I ordered a small accessory for my mp3 player, and although the shipping was a little more than I would expect, they got it to me in less than 2 days. Their store and order status checking system is easy to use as well.

I have been a satisfied customer of Provantage since 2001. Prices are usually very competitive. The most remarkable thing about Provantage is the speed of order processing. Most of the time, an order is processed and shipped within minutes of placement. From my location, at least, most orders placed by 5PM arrive at my door the next business day via ground shipment.
On the down side, their shipping costs are a bit high depending on the items purchased. Because the shipping cost seems to be based on a fixed per-item basis rather than on the weight or bulk of each item, adding small items to an order, such as cables, can rapidly bring shipping costs into excess. Consequently, this is not the best place for buying small ticket items unless fast delivery is required.
I have also noticed recently that the online order status information is not getting updated with the shipping tracking numbers. Hopefully this is a temporary glitch that will be resolved shortly. This review was modified by its author, msabaj, on

Ordered a pair Etymotic Research er-4 for about $185 and shipping. Ordered them on Monday morning and got them in the mail on Wednesday, with the standard Fedex ground shipping. I am very happy with the product and the service!
