Horrible service! I waited a week for them to confirm my order and decided to call them. They said they didnt have my order placed and that it would take another week for them to ship. Never ever buy from them!

I REALLY do not recommend placing orders with Provantage. They will waste your time and will not honor your purchase.  
 
I placed an order on December 15 for an IN STOCK item. It was at a great price.  
 
After two weeks they notify me that it is now back ordered with a new ship date of January 11. By January 21 they said the new ship date is January 27.  
 
All during this time they say it is back ordered, however, I continually check their site and see the product being sold for a higher price than I placed my order for.  
 
Finally on February 2, I write and complain and say I will write a bad review so no one else has to endure this type of frustration. On February 3, they email me stating they can not fulfill the order and the item has been discontinued. My order is cancelled by them.  
 
Provantage is a waste of time. If you place your order you will never know if they will honor the price they sell it for. It is the worst web company I have ever dealt with. I hope you won't.

This is my first time to make purchase with www.provantage.com. it is a very unhappy experience . they shipped me an defective item for me and refuse to exchange it. I ordered an Asus USB-N13 wireless adapter from provantage.com and received by 1-19-2010, when I found this is an defective item, I sent e-mail to provantage.com and called provantage.com twice telling them the item is not working, bu refuse to exchange it, and telling me I can return it only, but need to pay 20% restocking fee and pay the shipping cost.guys, how can provantage.com has done this to the customer. I never has such experience. they makes me very angry.  
compare to newegg.com,newegg.com is great. I bought a motherboard at newegg.com at 12/18/2009, and on 1/19/2010 I found the VGA was not working newegg.com issued the RMA for me without hesistate. even the invoice day is over 30 days.  
www.provantage.com is not strive for customer satification, it is just selling product to make money without careing the customers.  
Provantage.com is just like a garbage, and newegg.com is a diamond.  
www.provantage.com is ghost, newegg.com is god.  
 
however, I would like to say  
 
After shopping at www.provantage.com, I realized how "Great" the provantage does  
 
"Thank you" for provantage.com.  
 
Thank you for provantage.com "world class"service.  
 
now I know provantage.com is one of "best" corporation in the world  
 
Everyone, if you like to save money, please "go to" www.provantage.com, I "grantee" you might like their "best" price and "world class" service.

I placed my order on the weekend, On Monday I received an email saying they could not charge my credit card, they said my Expiration date was wrong, I doubled Checked and it was perfectly right. I was needing my order this week and I was forced to go to Newegg.com to get the best shipping speed. I placed my order at Newegg and everything went smooth. Provantage has a very quirky ordering system. I do not recommend buying by Credit card at Provantage.

i had ordered a ATX Nforce 780I Sli PCI SATA Motherboard from these guys on the 19th and when i went to check-out they said they where in-stock. today is the 28th and i called them today and they said and i quote "that order is on back-order at this time and we only get that product from one distributer" the i asked when it would be shipped and he said and i quote "the estimated ship date on this product is on the 24th of February" so i immediatly canceled that order and i ended up ordering from alpha electronics and it came in when they said it was gonna come in. so my opinion on this company is DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!!! they are a bunch of lies. dont believe that your product is in-stock, because it's probably NOT!! I would recommend buying from alph electronics, there prices are a little bit higher but they get it to you ON TIME.

Although the prcie was great and the shipping was quick, the products arrival was a great disappointment. I had ordered a USB flash drive Panda for my 8-yr-old daughter for Christmas, only to be sent a black devil instead. When I called for customer service all I got was the manager was gone for the day, the item numbers for the two products were the same and they couldn't do anything for me in time for Christmas. The warehouse had just messed up and I had to be OK with that. Then on top of this, their return process is cumbersome and has super detailed instructions you must follow--Get RMA# then wait for call tag and then send product through FedEx only (prepaid thank goodness, but I don't go by one everyday and I am a busy mom). All this has to be done within 10 days of getting the RMA# and so if the call tag is late, you can be lost in La La Land waitng for a refund because they can't produce more than one RMA for an order! Somebody tell them how to program their computers and be truly customer supportive!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I ordered a Kodak Zi8  
camcorder from this website and I needed it  
within at least 2 weeks. Okay. It has now been 15 days and the order still HAS NOT been processed. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. Their website says nobody can ship as fast as them. Well...  
 
DON'T TRUST THESE RETARDS.  
I AM CANCELING MY ORDER ASAP.  
 
If it takes this long just to PROCESS  
the order, imagine how long it would take

Uuuuugghh! If you needed critical parts yesterday - THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY for you! To avoid taxes they ship from their warehouse in CA to Ohio. I live in CA. I could have walked to the warehouse and picked them up faster than this. A week and a half later my order still has not shipped because of this system.  
 
I don't care about the price break when my downtime eats into my business and sanity like this. Provantage - you are the SLOW-vantage. Never again!

I ordered my Christmas present back in early December and they made it appear as if my order would be shipped within 3-4 days. Its January 12 right now, and my order is still "In Progress". They told me it would ship on the 30th of December, then the 11th of January, and now they're telling me they're expecting the warehouse to get it on the 18th. I wonder what they're going to tell me come the 18th when I e-mail them again asking for an explanation...

It took nearly 10 tries in one hour to get a representative on the phone, and when they did they could not tell me what happened to my package...  
 
they posted a tracking number that had nothing to do with my order, to only then later tell me that the product had not shipped and that it would be shipped from Chicago the next day?! it has now been 4 days since i placed my order and they cannot even ship it the same day i opened the support ticket? what a joke....

Not as advertised. On Google's Compare prices list they did not state the quantity required to get that price listed which put them on top. I called them the next day to find out why my order was not processed and that is when they said that they could not fill the order for that price and quantity.

I submitted an order over the Internet on November 9th, 2009 for an Asus RT-N16 wireless router device. The price listed and posted for the matching SKU was $34.80. This was the listed price for about a month. My order was received, and began processing within two days (receiving a notification on November 11th). No further notices were delivered to me until Wednesday, December 9th when they notified me of a "pricing error." They provided my three options, cancel the order, pay the higher price, or purchase a separate device.  
 
When I called to get further information, the front line individual claimed that she could not help me. When I asked to speak with someone who could, she offered to send me to voicemail. I declined and again requested to speak with someone who could help me. I was placed on hold and when she came back she informed me that they had refused to speak with me.

The reason this had taken so long was that we could not get a resolution from ASUS on this pricing issue. They had sent an erroneous price to our distributor and instead of just cancelling customers' request to order, we negotiated an exclusive price on another product. Unfortunately ASUS would not honor the pricing error on the RT-N16. All of this was spelled out in the email that was sent to customers along with our apology. We would also be willing to sell the RT-N16 to our customers at our cost with free shipping, but again it would be at a higher price than the $34.80.  
 
We once again apologize for the inconvenience and there was nothing we could have done proactively to prevent this.

I would highly not recommend this only store it took 20 days before they even ship the item out 20 days and they just started shipping it so i have to wait till arrives now. The item i ordered was a cooler master heatsink that was on back order there site said 5-7 days but i waited 20. They didn't even offer any time of apology for taking so long some other website may do. I'm never going to order from them again they may had had a lower price of 5 dollars towards there competition on this heat sink but its not worth waiting 20 days just to receive it.

Terrible customer service!  
 
Don't believe a word of what you see on their site about their superior ordering and tracking system. I ordered a $200+ microwave and received a confirmation immediately that my order had been received. Two days later I received another message telling me my order had been submitted to one of their regional warehouses for execution. Then... NOTHING. Finally six days after my order I called them to inquire about the status of my order. I was told the item was out-of-stock and would be shipped about two weeks in the future.  
 
This was after their website, AT THE TIME OF MY ORDER, claimed they had four of the items in stock. I then canceled my order and was told I would receive an e-mail confirmation regarding the cancellation. More than two hours later, I had not received such a confirmation, so I went to their website and it showed it still as an active order. I will never order anything from them in the future.
