I live only five miles from Norman Camera and feel some alliance and security dealing with them, but when it came time to purchase my Canon 50D body, Beach beat out Norman by $100 plus a spare battery ($50) and an 8GB memory card ($70) and free shipping! I offered Norman a chance to match, but they wouldn't. The concern with Beach was all the bad press with New Jersey/New York camera rip-off stores. After much research, I decided to buy - Great decision for a change!!! Order received 2 days earlier than expected and all is well. BTW - The 50D rocks! I have since purchased a Nikon cool pix for my daughter and she is snapping away. Thanks Beach - Norman Camera, watch out - your lunch is getting eaten!

He is a professional, no nonsense with a sense of responsibility. This is the second T.V. purchased within the last year. Item ordered and received at my door in 3 days. I ordered a EH-5a Nikon AC adapter for a D60 SLR from Beach Camera after seeing the good ratings on this site. Product shipped out immediately, price was a great deal and email communications and updates were excellent. I am not going to fool around anymore with these other shady camera websites (we all know which ones they are from the reviews at resellerratings.com)and use Beach as my first choice.

At first I didn't really believe this site was legit due to all the other fake scammers out there, but I read the reviews on this page and for the most part they were good...So finally gave it a shot.  
 
The product I was looking for was cheaper than what I could find anywhere else...and I had been looking a great deal of time for a great deal on my wallet. I called, and the salesman I had talked to was very nice and got my order set up and shipped in the very same day. I had decided to order one more thing, so they had to ship it separately, but there was no problem adding another order. Shipped almost immediately.  
 
No charge on shipping for both orders, and no taxes either due to the state I lived in. GREAT DEAL!  
 
I received both orders on the 3rd business day of placing the order.  
 
I'm happy I found this company and will be sure to be checking their site firstly for all my future needs.

Excellent Customer service, Item shipped quickly. Other than a minor inconvenience, having to call after placing my first internet order with this company to verify my status,overall experience was very good.

I recently ordered a digital slr kit from them and, aside from a few issues with the shipping company, it was a pleasant experience. Overall I am pleased with the transaction and product I received so I would recommend them. Unfortunately, the shipping/transportation industry is really lousy right now which I don't feel I can blame on Beach Camera.

I am very pleased with my order from Beach, quick shipping, good communication, and no problems whatsoever. I look forward to using them again in the future if need be.

I ordered a home theater system from overseas, and I received it within a week. After I received the system I realized it would only play NTSC format DVDs, a problem because all DVDs sold where I live are in PAL format. I had specifically ordered the LG LHT854 system because LG's website said it would play both formats.  
 
I called customer service, and Joe handled my case. He confirmed that the LG website did indeed claim the system would play both formats (even though the BeachCamera site had the info correct). As such, they would allow me to return the system. I was impressed that they gave me a full refund given that their site had the info right.  
 
I intend to try to find a replacement system with BeachCamera simply because they made it so easy for me to return this one.
