I ordered the canon 70-200 2.8 lens on August 3rd. Received the lens 2 DAYS LATER! I was amazed at how fast they processed the order and it got to me. Also, the price was over $100 less than any other online retailer, even the scam websites. I would HIGHLY recommend Beach Camera.

Wow! Talk about service that exceeds your expectations. I ordered a Canon EOS D50, a Pixma Pro 9500 Mark II, and two other smaller items around mid day on 19 August 09. Extremely helpful and fast assistance from AHARARI at the sales desk, and by early Saturday afternoon, the items had traveled more than half way accross the country to arrive in Minnesota. Everything was packed very well and arrived in super condition. For their efforts at truly showing that my order was important, they deserve an A+++. Thanks Beach.

I have been shopping for a GPS unit for over a year preparing for a trip. I used ResellerRatings to find the store with the best reputation, which also turned out to be one of the lowest prices for the unit I purchased. Beach Camera web site was easy to use and provided information on the unit I purchased. They kept me up to date with order details and shipment tracking information. I will definately consider them for future purchases.

I ordered the Nikon D 5000 with the 2 lenses for under $1000, plus free shipping. I was given a tracking number right away and received the new camera on the 8th of Aug. I was rather surprised that it came in on a Saturday.. When I opened the box I wanted to make sure all the items came in the box that were stated online, the only thing missing were the 2 DVD's for the Nikon, I called Beach Camera on the 9th and by Saturday the 15th I had them in my hands.. This is the second time I use Beach Camera and I will continue to use them, They are honest and don't mess around, no up sales, whatever you order is what you get..  
This is one of the very few online sale sites I use, and thanks to THIS site I ALWAYS check here before I purchase anything from anyone other than Beach Camera and B&H, both these companies are honest and I don't have to worry about being scammed or lied too

Paid for my R1C1 on Aug. 4th, received about 5 emails with shipping / order confirmations over the next 3 days. I had my fingers crossed - Beach has mixed reviews, mostly about post sales service, and a lot of happy customers too. Amazing, I was in shock! My package came in Aug. 7! Brand new, complete, all parts working, USA Nikon warranties. Shipping was cheap (we upgraded 1 level, the original deal was for free shipping.)  
 
This was a great experience: the price was great, and shipping and product without a hitch. I can't complain at all.

After reading a few negative comments about a few bad experiences from other buyers I was a little worried about placing my order, anyone spending over $1000 online should be somewhat worried... but I can honestly say that BeachCamera made this first transaction right! I know mistakes can happen but we are all human. I really wanted to thank Bill Haley @ BeachCamera for making this a pleasant first experiance with them. His service was good, answered all my questions before I even placed the order... The order was placed on a Friday afternoon, it was shipped the following Tuesday and arrived on Thursday. There was a small error on the invoice with the freight charges but once this was brought up to Bill's attention he had it credited.  
 
I will update this once I have the unit setup and give it a few test runs. But i'm very pleased so far!

First of all FedEx delivered to the wrong house. I called FedEx once the conformation showed "delivered on front door". Yet, I was home waiting. Nothing on my front door. That's when the problems started. I ended up finding my PC on a neighbors front door. I got it home. $40.00 shipping, the least they could do is have someone sign for the package, and not leave it on a front door. I guess they can't read very well at FedEx.  
 
So, I have the PC on. I just happen to check the system specs. I see that I do NOT have the MD64 X2 6000+ 3.0Ghz processor. What my system says is I'm running the AMD Athlon 7750 Dual-Core Processor 2.7 GHz! Are you freaking kidding me?!  
 
This is not good, not ok, not right. It's crooked!  
I didn't get the free Ethernet cable, either. Not that I care about that, compared to this F'd situation. :(

Thursday I called Beach Camera to tell them that I was returning the PC. After telling the guy on the phone that the PC had a cheaper, slower CPU then the one that is advertised to be in the PC. He was nice enough not to charge me the 10% restock fee. (yeah, right) Then I asked who was paying for return shipping. He told me I had to pay returning shipping. HUH?! He explained they were not even charging me a restock fee, that I just had to pay shipping. I said "No, I'm not paying for shipping charges. What I ordered wasn't even shipped to me. After a while he decided I didn't have to pay the return shipping fee. I shipped the PC back yesterday. I've still not gotten a response to my emails from two days ago. I don't know if BC is going to give me a full refund (which is what I expect, since I want nothing to do with any Visionman product, never again). If they are going to try and rip me off for the $40.00 of shipping fees I paid to ship me the bogus PC in the first place. If they are going to ship me another Visionman PC. I can't shop for a new PC until I find out what's going on with my refund.

I got a call from Maurice at Beach Camera.  
Everything was worked out and I'm getting refunded for the PC. Beach Camera is a great company to buy from. You don't know how good a company is until you have an issue with a purchase. I must say that

A few weeks ago I ordered a camera kit and accessories at Beach Camera. The price and service was great. When I needed to make a return, I talked to somebody named Joe. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful during the process. If I ever need to make a return for Beach Camera again, I'm going to to ask for Joe.

There is only one thing i can say for you in Beach Camera:"EXCELLENT JOB".I ordered a sony camcorder from them and i received it the proper time in the best condition for the best price of course. And what i mean for the best price...i called some other companies that sell the camera $50 lower than Beach Camera.When i tried to place the order they always asked me if i wanted to buy smth else like a batterie or memory in extremely high prices with tones of lies. Of course when i denied to buy anything else than that, they said that they couldn't sell me the camcorder and they were rude with me. That's why i went to www.resellerratings.com, found the Beach Camera and made my purchase. I'm in AF and as i promised them i'll tell everybody about their professionalism and politeness i received. Easy company to do business with. I ordered a 42" Widescreen Plasma TV. Beach Camera shipped it for free. The cheapest competitor wanted $49.99 to ship it. This plus the lowest price for the TV I could find on the internet, or in brick and mortar store, and no sales tax secured the deal for me.

Ordered Sony Cybershot DSC-H20 camera, 16GB Duo Pro Memory Stick, camera bag and related accessories on June 15 at approximately 2:00PM (CDT), with FREE 7-10 day shipping. Shipment arrived FOUR (4) DAYS after order, well packaged, with all pieces NEW, as described on site, and in excellent condition.  
 
Beach Camera is, in my opinion, a first class company with an easy to navigate site and great prices.  
 
For all the negative reviews where the shipment arrived a day or two late - get over it.  
 
If Beach Camera acts in a responsible manner and endeavors to complete orders to the best of their ability, I will be a customer for a long time. A delayed shipment will not cause the loss of my business with BC.  
 
I made a second purchase today and expect the same great service.

I ordered a Canon 24-105 lens from Beach Camera just at about 1 am on a Thursday and paid for next day shipping as I was planning on going on a vacation the next week and wanted the weekend to become acquainted with the lens. Their website showed that lens was in stock. I received a phone call confirming my order. Thursday afternoon I checked the order status to see if a tracking number had been issued. The order showed back order. I was upset because the lens was clearly in stock when I placed my order. I immediately called. I was told that they did somehow "sell out" and that he checked with the buyer who assured them that they would have the lens the next day and that I would have it on Monday. I checked online on Friday; still back-ordered and I couldn't call because it was after 3. I called on Sunday and spoke with Joanne who apologized and said she would call me on Monday since the buyer wasn't there. I waited for her call until 5 pm to give her the benefit of the doubt. I finally called and spoke to Charlie, who though keeping me on the phone for 25 minutes, finally came back and said that they didn't know when they would be getting the lens, but that I could cancel for a full refund. This company left me hanging for 4 days with no follow through. My advice when dealing with this company, don't order online, call first and make sure that they actually have the product!

After my review was posted, I was contacted by Maurice at Beach Camera. Being a professional myself, I can always appreciate when someone sincerely apologizes and backs up those words with actions. While I had already purchased the lens from a competitor, Maurice not only apologized and explained what had happened, he took action and and showed that Beach Camera did want me back as a customer. We all make mistakes, it is how you take responsibility and show your clients their value to you. Maurice did that on behalf of Beach Camera and earned my business back. Thank you Maurice.

No problems with our order...simple, fast, easy. Ordered a new HD camcorder and a battery. No follow-on sales phone call, ordered on Sunday, recv'd on Thursday. Saved $300 from buying it locally, and no tax (another $80 saved).

Even though I was dealing with BuyDig.com I received a call from John at Beach Camera. He explained that they owned the internet site of Buydig.com. I ordered a LN55B750 Samsung LCD TV from them at a lower then advertised price. They advertised 3 "free" items but I was offered the TV at a lower price *if* I dropped the wall mount and HDMI cables as part of the deal. When I emailed them back about the "so called" "free" gifts that I was actually paying $164 for, they agreed to include them at the lower price. I will see if it's a deal when the TV arrives in 7 to 9 days. TV arrived on date promised. It's great and I am completely satisfied with this purchase. I would give BuyDig.com a 10 out of 10.
