I bought A Samsung mx20 Camcorder, I got charged for the Camera which I still waiting for delivery, they wont't answer my emails and the phone # on the website does not work, I am going to complaint to NY Attorney General on Fraud charges.
I think I lost my money, I am a disable person and use the Intenet to buy things that I need.

I needed a wireless gateway cable modem and settled on a motorola unit.
I found the best price on compuplus.com and was genuinely worried given the reviews here...but their price was $20 cheaper than anywhere else, so armed with my credit card buyer's protection I took a chance.
I ordered on 1/12/09
I received an email confirming my order on 1/12
I received another confirming the charge to my card on 1/12
I received ANOTHER email 1/12 confirming my order was being shipped.
I received a FOURTH email on 1/12 with the USPS tracking number and the item arrived 1/14.
Item was new, unused and worked out of the box.
I know these guys don't look great on paper, and they are not a company with alot of whistles and bells on their site or service...
but I got exactly what I wanted, charged accurately, shipped quickly, and in new condition for the best price on the net.
A+ Performance, guys.

I placed my order with comp-u-plus on December 7th. I bought headphones that I intended to give my best friend on Christmas. My order still has not arrived.
I paid for ground shipping, so I expected the delivery to take a week or so. However, 2 weeks later, I contacted customer service by phone. On December 23rd I was informed that my package hadn't even been shipped yet. I was then told my package would be shipped overnight at no additional cost and would arrive the next day, Christmas Eve. I was told I would receive a tracking number that evening. Although disappointed, I was pleased with their seeming willingness to make amends.
I did not receive a tracking number. Instead, I received an email informing me that my credit card has been charged. I consider myself an understanding man, but this just felt like a slap in the face.
I called again early on the morning of Christmas Eve to request my tracking number and to confirm that my package would arrive that day. I was assured that I would receive my tracking number very soon by email and that my package would arrive that day. I took their word for it.
My order did not arrive that day. I did not have a gift to give my best friend on Christmas day. I still have not received a tracking number or been contacted.
Though I see others have had different experiences, the service comp-u-plus has provided me is unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with comp-u-plus.

I was very worried when my wife ordered a Garmin 750 GPS from a company I never used before and did so before I could check resellerratings.com. But no worries, this low price outfit shipped the next day and I had my GPS within 4 days. Their price was absolutely the best (199.99, better than the Black Thursday doorbusters). The kingly shipping charge of 14.95 was offset by a $25 rebate from EBillMe (standby for news on that), but even without the rebate, $214.94 delivered is top notch. Will definitely use again. I ordered the Linksys WRT600N router from Comp-U-Plus after reading the reviews at resellerratings.com.
I purchased the item ($9.95 shipping) from San Diego on the night of 11-18 and it arrived from New York (via UPS Express)on 11-24. That includes a weekend.
Excellent price, excellent communication and super fast shipping. I will be back.

I ordered a Garmin Nuvi GPS at 2:43pm on 3/6/2008. I placed a phone order because I wanted to make sure that I'll receive my order by next Tuesday. Placing the order was very easy. The rep was friendly. Less than an hour later, they shipped my order and I received it TODAY (I'm in MA and they're in NY, so it wasn't a long distance, but still... very impressive). I would definitely recommend Comp-U-Plus.

Absolutely horrible service. I ordered a set of headphones from them on Jan 16th with second day delivery. At the time of the order, it was in stock. I checked the order status and it showed that the headphones were shipped on the 17th, however they did not have a tracking number. I waited til the 22nd to check to see if they had a tracking number or if they were delivered, and sure enough they weren't. I waited til Thursday to call customer service. They weren't sure about my order and said they would call back, which they did not. Friday I tried calling, but it seems like customer service takes half days on fridays since they are opened until 12:30 EST. During this time I also noticed that they charged my CC twice, which I talked to the bank to get taken care of since compuplus didn't seem to be very helpful. Anyway, I called Monday (the 28th) to find out what is with my order. They told me that my headphones were out of stock. Never did I get any email or call that they were OOS before. So I canceled my order. Then they called me back 5 min later saying that they had a few in stock, which I declined to take. Now I'm just hoping that my order gets canceled correctly and I don't get charged in the end. Be very careful with Compuplus. I got burnt by them and won't do business with them again.

I found this site through pricegrabber. As the IT Manager for a multi-million dollar company, I normally purchase at least ten thousand dollars per month from various vendors. After waiting over a week and emailing several times to get the statue of my order for 6 wireless cards, I called the sales phone number. The rep answered fairly quickly then placed me on hold for over 1/2 hr. My second call the same guy answered and I asked while I was taking put me on hold again without letting me finish my sentence. 1/2 hr on hold later I again called back. On this third call I got two word out and he hung up on me. I called there long distance customer service number and no one answered after waiting 15 minutes. I email them to cancel my order. They responded to the email with a tracking number and if I wanted to cancel I could pay to ship the item back to them for a refund - restocking fees. I tracked the item and it was shipped out the night before (remember this is over a week after I originally placed the order). I will never order from them again !

I should have read this website before I made my purchase. Had I known... This website WILL be added to my "Favorites" for any dealings with other resellers...
Like others who had issues with shipping procedures, lousy customer service attitudes, and previously unrealized return policies, etc., I have had a similar experience. Here below is a synopsis of what was documented with the Magellan GPS manufacturer, addressed to Mr. "P---" on December 19, 2006:
Thank you for hearing me on my problem as discussed on the telephone. To recap problem in bullet-form:
• I shopped for a GPS and chose Magellan
• What I didn’t tell you is that I first picked the 3050T from Costco,
• Returned the 3050 to Costco unopened because I was going to try to “spring” for the better 6000T
• Went price-shopping as any educated consumer would do
• At A**N**D** website, requested pricing on 6000T – also called and left voicemail on “800” number
• After several days calling and leaving messages, I gave up on A**N**D**
• I saw another site which I hoped was not a “fly-by-night” operation, Compu-Plus, and ordered the 6000T by telephone on November 28
• I received the GPS Friday night, December 1--not by UPS with a real tracking number... No, by US Post Office "Priority" Mail...
• On Tuesday, December 12, I finally receive the email from A**N**D** that a quote was ready for me at the specified link
• I finally got who I think is the “owner” of A**N**D** and asked why I didn’t get quotes earlier…He admitted problems with web servers and didn’t understand why he didn’t get voicemail.
• I expressed concern over pricing, he said there was a price adjustment from the manufacturer… I should try calling Compu-Plus… I told him I didn’t think it would work, because I learned shortly after receiving GPS, that Compu-Plus was not as reputable as I hoped, based on feedback I read, etc.
• A**N**D** was a help over a further concern that the 6000T was “gray-market”, so he calls your place on my behalf with my serial #. He also told me that Compu-Plus was NOT an authorized dealer as they claimed…
• Result of the call was that is was NOT gray-market, but that the supply comes to Compu-Plus from 6th Avenue Electronics… Compu-Plus apparently does NOT get their supply from Magellan… (That means they can’t be “authorized”, right?)
• I call today to your company [Magellan] BEFORE calling Comu-Plus and spoke to a female rep in your area—I thought her name was L---, or C---—who told me to try Compu-Plus anyway as price adjustments come from them as “passed down”, or something to that effect… In other words, they should be able to work with me…
• Now I call to Compu-Plus, and they rudely tell me that the return policy on their website (which I didn’t see at the time, as I CALLED my order in) was a refund at the “current” price if lower, not my original payment… Also, “prices go up and down five times in a week”… (I didn’t know I was dealing in commodities)… Now, I’m sick…. Plus, they just hung up on me when I expressed disdain over their policy which was “undisclosed” at the time as far as I’m concerned… How DO they stay in business???

Order has not shipped yet. Finally contacted someone today who said they did not know why the order has not shipped yet. I had a diffcult time contacting customer service via email & phone during the hours they are available. Will not order again from this company.

Very fast service. I ordered my product on Monday and recieved it on Thursday via UPS Ground. In fact they sent me the traking number after the package had arived at my shipping address. The product came in as promised, brand new for the same price as some merchants had the product refurbished. Only my first order with this merchant but definately would order from them again in the future.

I will never order from Comp-U-Plus again. I ordered a GSM Smartphone from them when I should have ordered a CDMA. I didn't figure it out until it was charged. I should pay *something* for my mistake, right?
I requested either a return-for-refund or return-for-credit, after a restocking fee. Nope!
The customer "service" perople kept coming back to , "...our web page CLEARLY states, blah-blah." About the CDMA/GSM issue.
In fairness, the verbiage was there, but in about 6-point font.
In the end, I sold it for the purchase price on Craig's List, in about four hours. I should have started there.
Now, Comp-U-Plus doesn't have to pretend to offer service-after-sale anymore, where I am concerned.
I wasted a couple of weeks trying to reach someone who would at least evaluate my situation on its merits - - nothing.
Before you order, go to their web page, to the "contact/about us areas. Test your ability to escalate to another level of the company.
You can even try searching for corporate info on the web. A company that is this invisible must have a reason. *Not* providing service is clearly part of their business plan. This review was modified by its author, rsquared01, on

I bought a motherboard from this site to complete my computer build. I got the motherboard and it was dead, it happens. I called the company to see about an exchange and they said I am basically SOL on my own. There website leads one to believe the give refunds/exchanges, but this is an illusion. Once they have your money, they dont know you and your stuck with whatever trash you got. Because I needed this part I had to order it from another company and now im out of $100+ dollars for doing busines with Comp-u-plus. With all the companys to buy from, COMP-U-PLUS IS DEFINATELY ONE TO AVOID!!! I wish I would have found this site earlier and checked their poor rating. I will from now on.

I can just confirm what many others have said. Despite the low ratings I gave it a shot and it is a bait and switch company. I placed an order and got the following email the next day:
"Thank you for placing an order with Comp-U-Plus. We are currently in the process of verifying your credit card information. Please send us a valid phone number where you can be reached. Please respond with the necessary information so that we can ship your order in a timely fashion."
I tried calling their customer service and nobody answers. I called their sales number and told them that I need to talk about an existing order and he refused to discuss - even hung up before I finished the sentence. Very rude.
DO EVERYBODY A SERVICE AND DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

Ordered an unlocked Motorola V600 cell phone, got confirmation of the order same day, next day it was shipped and received on time. I am mystified as to why others have problems with their shipments when mine went so smoothly. Shipping cost was a bit high, but there was no tax. I have nothing but good things to say.
EDIT - The return policy for this company is non exsistant. I had a minor problem with my v600 and they referred me to motorola for help. What a shame. This review was modified by its author, ehric2000, on
