i ordered a dvr expander (hard disk)trough them. it showed in stock when all other stores showed out of stock. there was no order confirmation. several days later customer support sent an email saying the product was out of stock. no link to the order or to cancel the order was given. i replied that the order should be canceled. no response from them. several days later i requested confirmation of cancelation. no response. several days later the product showed up at my door. well after the order should have been canceled. The order was poorly packed in a box with one sheet of paper as padding. There was no fragile marking anywhere on the box

I bought A Samsung mx20 Camcorder, I got charged for the Camera which I still waiting for delivery, they wont't answer my emails and the phone # on the website does not work, I am going to complaint to NY Attorney General on Fraud charges.
I think I lost my money, I am a disable person and use the Intenet to buy things that I need.

This seller is horrible. I ordered a Wacom CINTIQ12WX Cintiq 12" Pen Display, which I received for $891.94 with ground shipping. When I received it, the packaging looked like it has been repackaged (torn tape on plastic bags, bags looked stretched open and then put back together). I set it up anyway, and as soon as I turned on the monitor I could see 4 or 5 permanently dead or bright pixels, and there were a few more that were tentatively messed up. If this was a brand new product, it would not have that many issues. I have used Wacom products for 8 years, and have never had problems with their products-ever. This is definitely a Comp-U-Plus problem. This is a RESOLD product, and it should be labelled as that- NOT NEW. WORSE is that when I called them to return it, they didn't apologize for their faulty product, AND THEY WOULDN'T PAY FOR SHIPPING IT BACK TO THEM---that comes out of my pocket. Not only that, they refunded me back 15 dollars less than I actually spent, because they were only refunding back their current selling price (which conveniently for them only went on sale the day they received my return). So I am out the $15 + $20 shipping cost, and I have no product to show for it, and no apologies, wasted my time, and they haven't responded to my email questions. Bottom line is that COMP-U-PLUS is THIEVISH, UNRELIABLE, and UNTRUSTWORTHY.

I placed my order with comp-u-plus on December 7th. I bought headphones that I intended to give my best friend on Christmas. My order still has not arrived.
I paid for ground shipping, so I expected the delivery to take a week or so. However, 2 weeks later, I contacted customer service by phone. On December 23rd I was informed that my package hadn't even been shipped yet. I was then told my package would be shipped overnight at no additional cost and would arrive the next day, Christmas Eve. I was told I would receive a tracking number that evening. Although disappointed, I was pleased with their seeming willingness to make amends.
I did not receive a tracking number. Instead, I received an email informing me that my credit card has been charged. I consider myself an understanding man, but this just felt like a slap in the face.
I called again early on the morning of Christmas Eve to request my tracking number and to confirm that my package would arrive that day. I was assured that I would receive my tracking number very soon by email and that my package would arrive that day. I took their word for it.
My order did not arrive that day. I did not have a gift to give my best friend on Christmas day. I still have not received a tracking number or been contacted.
Though I see others have had different experiences, the service comp-u-plus has provided me is unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with comp-u-plus.

I called before placing this order to confirm that the item was instock - "yes sir we have that camera in stock"
I ordered it Fedex 2 day. 6 days Later I call and find out its not in stock - but the are willing to give me $10 toward another purchase.
If you like guessing, gambling and bieng on hold this is place to buy from.

They advertised the unit I wanted at a considerably lower rate than any other competitors. I called the company I was dealing with to get a pricematch, but they told me it was just impossible because the price was 1. lower than the manufacturer's rules and 2. they would have to lose money to sell it at that. So they told me if I wanted to, I should go ahead and buy it with Compuplus.com, but said you get what you paid for and that they don't seem legit.
I should've listended to them. I placed the order for it on the 7th of Aug., didn't receive anything until the 13th, and went online to track my package on the 14th only to find out that it was shipped on the 13th but I can't get any tracking number or anthting. I thought that was a little weird, but just decided to wait for the package. Now, today, on the 15th, I receive an email saying that they have refunded my payment because they didn't have the unit in stock.
That is some lame crock of crap. It is very unprofessional to oversell (and even to admit it in the email), and for them to take over a week to check the inventory while not notifying the buyer of any status. All their reviews couple months back were negative, but I thought 'if I didn't lose money, how bad could it be' and went with it. It was a complete waste of time and that in itself is pretty bad, not to mention the way they treat their customers.

We only ship brand new merchandise. This order was cancelled before it was shipped so there's no way customer could claim it was refurbished! |

Absolutely horrible service. I ordered a set of headphones from them on Jan 16th with second day delivery. At the time of the order, it was in stock. I checked the order status and it showed that the headphones were shipped on the 17th, however they did not have a tracking number. I waited til the 22nd to check to see if they had a tracking number or if they were delivered, and sure enough they weren't. I waited til Thursday to call customer service. They weren't sure about my order and said they would call back, which they did not. Friday I tried calling, but it seems like customer service takes half days on fridays since they are opened until 12:30 EST. During this time I also noticed that they charged my CC twice, which I talked to the bank to get taken care of since compuplus didn't seem to be very helpful. Anyway, I called Monday (the 28th) to find out what is with my order. They told me that my headphones were out of stock. Never did I get any email or call that they were OOS before. So I canceled my order. Then they called me back 5 min later saying that they had a few in stock, which I declined to take. Now I'm just hoping that my order gets canceled correctly and I don't get charged in the end. Be very careful with Compuplus. I got burnt by them and won't do business with them again.

I placed an order directly on the store on the 21st December, $300 dollars for some nifty DLink wireless access points for our sales team to use demonstrating wireless applications. The product was ordered for priority shipping (International) and was due just after Xmas, give or take a few days I expected it before end of December for priority shipping. 4th January no delivery, no notification of shipping. I emailed their customer service management asking for information or a refund if they were unable to supply the goods. Customer service sent a very terse response just detailing me a "tracking number" for UPS which to be honest could be for any customer as no details are available. The Unit apparently left NJI on the 26th December but there is no update and it is the 8th January now. Once again I have written to their customer service department to investigate, replace the lost order or refund my money. I am very disappointed not only with their delivery service but also the "lack of interest" from their customer support team. I see they have some good reviews, but also a growing number of disappointed customers. I wont use them again and would not recommend them.

The order shipped out the day after it was placed. International orders sometimes sit in customs or are delayed for other reasons. It can be tracked with the local carrier in your country. |

Placed an order for a Garmin Nuvi 350 NA Asian Edition on the 15th as a Christmas present. They sent me a regular edition Nuvi 350 on the 19th. I called and explained my situation. They gave me an RMA and I placed an order for the correct one and was told it would be shipped the same day. As of today, the 26th, I never recieved the package. I called to inquire about it and was told that they were out of stock when my 2nd order was placed but they didn't bother to tell me. If I knew that, I could've placed an order elsewhere. I recently ordered a Garmin 660 GPS from this vendor as a gift to my mother in another state. Although they charged my credit card immediately, they notified me several days later that they couldn't ship the unit because they were unable to ship the device to the non-billing address unless I added the address to my credit card. I did this immediately, and responded to their e-mail that I had followed their instructions. They did not respond. I followed up with another e-mail. They did not respond. I followed up with another e-mail, they responded with the original e-mail on what they needed to complete the transaction. My mother's birthday passed without the gift. Finally, they responded to my cancellation e-mail, and apparently credited my account (I'm still trying to verify this). Needless to say, I will never try to purchase anything from these people again.

We emailed the customer on Wednesday afternoon that we are unable to ship to a 3rd party address, he replied that evening(after business hours)that he added the address. We tried verifying with the bank on Thursday and notified customer that the bank didn't have the correct address. The next email we got from him was Friday at 4:30 pm and over the weekend he sent another 3 emails. We got to them Monday morning and replied that his shipping address still doesn't verify. At that point the customer cancelled his order and was refunded in full. |

I found this site through pricegrabber. As the IT Manager for a multi-million dollar company, I normally purchase at least ten thousand dollars per month from various vendors. After waiting over a week and emailing several times to get the statue of my order for 6 wireless cards, I called the sales phone number. The rep answered fairly quickly then placed me on hold for over 1/2 hr. My second call the same guy answered and I asked while I was taking put me on hold again without letting me finish my sentence. 1/2 hr on hold later I again called back. On this third call I got two word out and he hung up on me. I called there long distance customer service number and no one answered after waiting 15 minutes. I email them to cancel my order. They responded to the email with a tracking number and if I wanted to cancel I could pay to ship the item back to them for a refund - restocking fees. I tracked the item and it was shipped out the night before (remember this is over a week after I originally placed the order). I will never order from them again !

I ordered a Create Zen Vision:M from their website as a Christmas gift for my daughter. We specifically chose this vendor because they advertised the unit on their website as coming with "Power adapter with 2 interchangable plugs". Since this was an important feature we ordered the unit from them. Upon opening the unit we found no separate power charger. After numerous phone calls and emails I have yet to receive anything but an offer to return the unit for refund. Since it was given as a gift this is not an option. This company engages in false advertising!!! Don't patronize them. I will be filing charges with their local law enforcment agency.

The worst experience I have had shopping through internet. I'm an international buyer (from Peru). I ordered a Sandisk Sansa MP3 player (C250) on december 30th.On december, 31th, my credit card was billed by Comp-U-Plus (I've verified this in my local bank) by the amount of the purchase (plus the shipping price).
The problem began on january, 2nd. An employee (Susan) send me an email telling me that they couldn't verify my billing information because my credit card was not from US. After that, I send her an email asking why they charged my credit card if they couldn't verify my billing info. Since then, I haven't received any communication from them and I've kept sending them email to susan and to their customer service, but they seem to ignore all my emails.
I've bought many things online, but this is the first time I have this kind of problem. I'm really disappointed with Compu-U-Plus and their service. Be careful with this people. Never trust them.
