MISERABLE experience!!! I woudn't buy free advice from these people. They are mistrusting, rude, lying cheats.
After having ran charges on my credit card they accused me of fraud and refused to ship my order (the charge was placed the same day I placed my order and I have no idea why they considered me suspicious). They also ran a search on me over the web and called with questions pertaining to my personal life - this shows that their business practices are discriminatory - if my charge cleared...why do a background check?
I have requested a refund of the charges placed against my credit card and have still to receive payment.

Ordered SIGMA lens Monday morning and had it the next afternoon. Price was better than anywhere else I could find except a couple companies for which RESELLERRATINGS.COM had ratings of "completely dissatisfied". Great experience for me and I would definitely give them more of my business. Only qualm I had was their misleading ad in Popular Photography mag that said free shipping for Sigma lenses. Their salesman Morris said the shipping was free but I still had to pay a $9.95 handling charge. Kinda bogus if you ask me, but all in all the price was still VERY good. I was disappointed and angry about their handling of this order. I ordered an Epson 2200 printer for $660 including shipping. They had very poor communications. They sent an email on 9/17 another on 9/26 and then nothing until 12/12. I had sent emails and made calls to try to find out what the order status was at various times. The 12/12 email said that they had received 30 pieces and thanked me for being so patient. They asked if I still wanted one. I emailed my reply saying yes. I then called the next day to make sure they got my reply. I was told that they did and that my printer would ship on Monday the 16th and that I should call back then to get the tracking number. I called the following Tuesday morning only to transferred to some guy who told me that they only had three printers and that the previous price was a "mistake" and that it was now $729. I canceled the order. This was a rather blatant attempt to dishonor their originally advertised price and get a little more money for a product that has high demand and short supply.

Ordered a Nikon coolpix 3500 camera from them. arrived in two days without asking for express shipping, reasonable S&H $15.71. Brand new camera with (U)code, not gray market example (J)code.Have ordered with them last Christmas season same experience.However have found them to be cheaper when connected through other sites rather than purchasing on their direct web site page; don't know why. They Sent me the wrong item. I called to let them know and they told me that they would not pay for return shipping. It was their mistake and they should pay the return shipping.

I purchased a set of Tiffen filters
from this company. Their web suggests
that I should call them for latest availability.
So I placed the order over the phone.
I received the item within a week. Good experience.

Sales people were efficient and truthful. Got my dImage7 right on time. The problem is with warranty service. After paying $100
for a camera and a 3 year warranty, I feel that a three month turnaround for rpairs is not acceptable. Would advise against purchasing from this company
if you use your camera in a professional or semi-professional manner.

I've ordered from Focus Camera three times, and in each case they shipped the correct items the next day, and all arrived by the time they were expected. Prices are excellent, although higher than average shipping and handling partially offsets this.

Very positive experience. I ordered a Casio QV-4000Plus digital camera, a lens adapter, a USB Compact Flash card reader and a backup set of rechargeable batteries on April 24. I immediately received an email confirming my order. Later that evening I received another email stating that my order had been processed and providing me with my invoice number. Also that evening I received an email from UPS stating that a package from Focus Camera was on its way. It included a tracking number and a delivery date of April 26. I received the package on April 26, with all items included exactly as ordered.
I received no phone calls from Focus pressuring me to buy any accessories or warranties (maybe since I had included some accessories in my order already). This is how the online shopping experience should be!
My only complaints are the high shipping costs ($32 for UPS ground for a 4# package) and the fact that the delivery required no signature (for an $800 order!). But maybe that's UPS' fault.
I definitely would buy from Focus again.

I recently purchased a Fuji 6900 camera from FOCUS CAMERA INC on 11-29-01. I spoke to a sales person named Gerry; He was very courteous and new the product. He recommended a particular case for the camera, for only $14.75, and it is a better case then the one Fuji sells. I recently purched a new 128mb Smart Card for it, and I thought they shipped the incorrect one, as the manufacture’s name was “Flash Card” and I thought I was getting a Flash Card instead of a Smart Card, I called them and they said to returned the “Flash card” and shipped me the correct one, they credited my account a few days later. I would definitely do business with them in the future.

Lousy vendor. I ordered, never received the promised confirmations, sent a bunch of emails asking if my order was going to be processed, then cancelled the order. Bought from someone else. Then a week after my cancellation request, more than 3 weeks after I ordered, they send a response to my first email saying the order was shipped, then a response to my cancellation request saying it was "too late". Customer Dis-Service then argued with me for 3 hours on the phone about taking the item back without a restocking fee, then a "manager" argued with me for another 1/2 hour and promised to get back to me, she didnt. So they were willing to spend, what, $20-30 worth of their peoples time ticking off a customer to the point where they'd never buy again, over a $15 restocking fee when their unresponsiveness created the problem in the first place. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.
