What a waste of my time. I ordered an item from them online, and a week later I received the wrong item. When I first contacted them, I got no reply. When I contacted them again, they said they were out of the original item and sent a “replacement” item instead, and they had sent me an email explaining so. First of all they never sent such an email. Secondly, who would want a “replacement” item without being asked first? When I tried to return the replacement item, they wanted me to pay for shipping. Then when I refused they said they would issue me a full refund, but they only sent half. It wasn’t until I complained again that they sent the full refund. In the end I got my money back, but it took 6 emails and nearly 2 months. Clearly this company will nickel and dime you every chance they get. Not worth the trouble. I give them one star for finally giving me my full refund.

I ordered from this store on Ebay because they are a Sony authorized store. The listing sounded great and I waited a little while to think it over. I later purchased the item. The next day when I called to check on the order they said they had to cancel my order due to a mistake on their listing. I asked to speak to a manager and the salesperson said they wouldn't help me. Now it's 3 days later and the money I saved for this camera is still tied up in Paypal/my bank and I can't re-order anything because of that. Now I'm without my camera that I sold for the money to buy the new camera and no camera on order coming anytime soon. I think they could have easily worked with me even if it wasn't the same exact order but they refused to let me talk to a manager. I guess it's a lesson learned, don't buy from Focus Camera!

WORST COMPANY YET! DO NOT ORDER from these people! Placed order 12-16. Order arrived 8 days later and was totally WRONG item. Invoice shows correct item. They refused to make it right and told me they would send me a UPS call tag-I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. They also said THEY DID NOT TRUST THE CUSTOMER so I would have to send the item back first before they would mail out the correct item. Their disclaimer clearly says "we'll do whatever it takes to fix the situation" DON'T BELIEVE THEM! My call to customer NO SERVICE was one of the worst in my life. I was on hold for a LONG time, the first girl was rude and the so called supervisor was even worse - all he could do was offer LAME suggestions that were ludicrous. STAY AWAY!!!

I had the same experience as a previous reviewer. I ordered a flash from Focus Camera through Amazon at a lower than normal price. Several days later, I got an email stating my order had been canceled due to the flash being out of stock. I called and spoke with Nicki, who assured me that the flash is in stock. I asked her why my order would have been canceled if the item is there. She put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me. I called and spoke to someone else who said that Nicki was missing from her desk...how convenient. He said the order was canceled because of a listing error and that they are protected in that case because of a clause that states they are not responsible for listing errors. He very kindly offered to sell me the flash at a much higher rate. No thanks!!! Smells like a scam to me.

Bought a microphone kit through Buy.com's Marketplace from Focus, the kit has multiple items. A week later the item arrived, but the kit was incomplete. I called and got someone on the phone very quickly (no more than 1 minute). They were accountable and friendly, and apologized for the erroneous listing (they were selling the microphone, not the kit). They offered me choices to either ship it back (at their cost) or drop the already low price even further and let me keep it. I chose the latter, and got an insane deal, I could get the rest of the stuff elsewhere. I am quite pleased with the experience, even though a mistake was made. And by this time (24 hours later), they have already corrected their Buy.com Marketplace listing.

I found a very low priced Tamron 90mmm Di lens on ebay and I liked the package and the price, but I wanted to change the " off brand" name filter to "brand name." So I called sales to answer all my questions and did not feel pushed to buy anything extra. I called several times and everytime someone picked up the phone without delay. The package came today and I thought some thing was wrong because I could not AF so I called there was no problem for them to pay for return, but fortunately I found out it was my fault and there was nothing wrong with the lens. I highly recommend this seller. They also have a very good rating on ebay.

Bought a Canon lens via "Buy.com." Sales price with shipping was $1701.20.
Checked my credit card bill and they charged me $40 for shipping and billed me for $1739! I called Customer Service(Focus Camera and AcePhoto&Digital) and thye said they would correct bill with faxed buy.com invoice.
They didNOT and billed me the $1740 anyway. They now will not answer Customer Service phone or respond to eamils.
DoNot EVER buy from these scam artists!

I ordered a Sony KDL-52V4100 from Focus on Friday and it was delivered on Monday. I got a great price with no pressure or upselling, and I promptly received a a factory-sealed box in excellent condition. I recommend Focus highly.

My credit card was charged the day I ordered. Item shipped 11 days later. Price was okay but will order elsewhere next time.

I ordered a new 67mm graduated ND Tiffen filter from focuscamera on ebay. A month later I received a filter in a cracked case, unsealed, with dust covering the filter, use marks on the rim of the filter, and a worn booklet. I wrote back to them complaining but they ignored the issue.

FOCUS CAMERA called me back shortly after placing the order to verify some payment information, shipped the order within one business day, and it arrived on time in excellent condition. No sales pitch. Would shop there again.

Received order 3 days after placement. Exactly as ordered and in pristine condition. No sales pitch, but salesman was knowledgable and courteous. Am totally satisfied, would order again and recommend this dealer to others.

Very dishonest store. I found a lens on their site (that was in stock) while they were running a holiday promotional and bought it online. After a week of not hearing anything back, I phoned them up and asked about my order. They said that it was out of stock but back in and that I would be shipping my order shortly. The person asked if I was interested in an extended warranty (he lied about about the manufacturer warranty covered) or filters. I said no to both. Later that afternoon I received an email stating that they canceled my order. After several emails back and forth telling them to not cancel my order, they now claim that the price was incorrect on the website and they are re-offering me the same lens for a much higher price, but are willing to throw in the warranty or filters. I would stay away from these people. They will waste your time and energy because of their dishonesty.

Over the last 10 years, I have ordered a number of things from Focus Camera in New York. I live in Canada and have items purchased in the US shipped to Sumas, WA. All four shippings over the years have arrived when stated and the items have arrived in good order. I have been very satisfied with their service. The last order arrived even before an order I had made with B&H Photo, and the order from Focus did not cost me shipping, where as the one from B&H did. Personally, I would order from Focus Camera without hesitation again.
