This store is absolutely THE BEST especially customer service. If you're afraid of returns don't be. I purchased a Canon EOS 50D camera with a few accessories-flash cards-UDMA card reader-300mm lens-tripod-18-200mm lens plus a few more things for the camera. I had to return the UDMA card reader because it wouldn't work so I emailed them as per instructions on their site and the same day they emailed me back with an RMA #. Being used to most stores not paying for return shipping I paid for it. The next day I received another email with the return info and prepaid label. I emailed them back and told them that I had jumped the gun and returned the reader via USPS. They said no problem that they would reimburse the amount I spent . The very day they received the return package I got an email telling me that they had received it and would start processing the return. The next day I got another email telling me it was processed and the return was OKed. 3 days later I received my refund plus the $4.50 I paid for shipping. I have NEVER gotten a refund from ANY store in less than 4 weeks and most of the time I'm always calling to inquire about the refund. On their site they say that you must return your item within 15 days..that said I changed my mind about the 300mm lens and wanted the 100-400mm lens instead (2 weeks later) and called them asking if I could return the lens and get the other lens instead. They said no problem and immediately sent an RMA# prefilled...no penalties no restock fees (shipping on my dime of course as should be). Again the very same day they received the return I got an email telling me it was received and being processed and again the day after that I got another email confirming the refund and again the refund was back on my credit card 3 days later. This store has become the ONLY store I will buy my camera supplies from because I know that I can trust their honesty. No bait and switch no hounding phone calls asking if you want accessories and trying to get you to buy more things. Their prices are very competitive and most times they beat all other (legit) stores. I hope this review helps someone that might be having heart palpitations about large purchases or any purchases because of customer service nightmares.

Very good website: easy to navigate, clear product images, accurate product information, and the shopping cart functions perfectly. I found everything I was looking for easily and with more information than other vendors provide.
Only one suggestion: when searching for a product by navigating to that product's category, group, and subgroup, the "Narrow Results" options limits you to choose only one "Brand" or "Type" or "Price" at a time. In other words, you cannot choose more than one (brand, type, price, etc.) to narrow the search results further.
A different method can be found on the Adorama website.
That being said, the B&H Photo website is more accurate, up to date, and "honest". Example: I tried to order a Benro tripod head from Adorama, and their website did not indicate it was out of stock. However, their shopping cart was not displaying the shipping cost even after several attempts.
I called their sales department, and they said the shipping cost was not reflected, because the item was out of stock and would be back ordered if I proceeded with payment in the shopping cart. They can't seem to keep their website up to date, and many product images are totally wrong.
I will definitely use B&H again. Thanks.

Hands down the best online retailer out there. You can bank on what they say. I have for the last 12 years. Not once have I been disappointed and I buy on a monthly basis.

I found B & H through Google and placed my first order for a Microsoft software product. The service was excellent, the price was even better. I have since purchased other items from B & H and will use B & H for many more items I intend to purchase

This merchant was extremely helpful after we had made an order on line but, inadvertently, had not completed the order. We called B&H and they quickly help us complete the order properly. The product was shipped to us exactly as expected. The price we paid was very competitive with other suppliers. We will always strongly consider this merchant for our future needs.

As always I'm pleased with B&H photo's prices as well as service and they have a great website. My recent order was for Tamrac TAN11 N-11 Backpack Camera Straps, Tamrac TAN17F #N-17 Anti-Slip Quick Release, and Camera Strap Tamrac TA5375RUB 5375 Adventure 75 Backpack. Though the camera staps were a listed accessory item for the backpack they required D-rings which are not on the backpack. I made a local purchase from a hardware store for some o-rings which solved the problem. This should probably be noted in the accessory list with the backpack. Otherwise happy with my purchase.

Service was exceptional. Prompt shipping (shipped the same day) and great shipping options. If had to buy any more computer adapters or accessories I would defiantly consider using B&H Photo-Video-Pro Audio.

I had the same ordering experience and service I've come to expect from B&H. The web site is well designed, placing the order was easy (the automatic display of accessories e.g. the correct-size UV/haze filter is a nice feature), the prices are competitive, the order was shipped the next day for a fair price, and the camera was delivered when & how promised. Obviously new-in-box, not stripped of accessories.
B&H is on my short-list of trustworthy mail order vendors.

I have been buying from B & H for years. The most recent purchase was easy to order online and the shipping was free. Everything came together, in one well-packed box. It came on time, a day earlier than I expected.
I have returned items to B & H with absolutely no problems. I had another recent order that I thought I wanted to return but wasn't sure. I called and got a return authorization but then decided to speak to someone in sales about whether the used lens I had ordered would actually work with my camera. He explained it to me, suggested I try it and take some trial pictures, and then if not satisfied, return it, no problem. The lens works fine and I am keeping it, but I appreciated the open offer to return it. BTW the used lens was described as 8+ condition but I found it in next to new condition.
I like B & H--can you tell? They've never let me down.

Sales rep was very helpful in which option was best for the order. Once the order was placed, delivery notifications were informative and order arrived in a timely fashion. I was very satisfied.

We have had very good experiences shopping both online and on the phone with B & H. Our recent purchase, as referenced by the invoice number above, was delivered on time and met our expectations. We should mention though, that we would have purchased the Canon 500 lens from B & H, but the price went up, literally overnight, and Amazon kept the lower price. B & H will remain our first contact for purchases such as these, we just hope the company will maintain competitive prices.
