STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are BIG TIME FRAUDS and will do anything to get more money out of you. I placed an order for a Nikon D70s kit and was told the same thing, no battery. When they said I could pay an extra $250 for the battery and charger I declined and told them I could find that on ebay for $10 and I would save much more money doing that, after hearing that they quickly changed their mind and decided to throw in the battery and charger for no extra fee. They never told me my order number nor my tracking number even after I asked them to email me the information. Once I finally got the numbers I started tracking my shipment, which took a long stop in New Jersey, and finally made it to my porch steps later than expected. The box was damaged; it looked like a truck had ran it over several times. I opened the box only to be furious to find only a lens cap holder, and goofy tripod, and a sigma lens, which I did not order. There wasn’t even an invoice telling me what was supposed to be inside the box. After calling the company several times and getting the run around I finally decided to search them on the internet to check their credentials only to find this glorious website. I took action in to my own hands and seeked legal advice and immediately contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges of $836 and was recommended to call the Better Business Bureau and Contact the District Attorney of New York to file a complaint. I can't believe I feel in to this trap and I hope no one else does. These are sick people and will stop at nothing to get your money! Avoid Royal Camera, CCI Camera City, and Express Cameras. All the same companies, all the same scams, all the same results. These people should be prosecuted to highest degree and put in to prison for a long time.

This company is closely related to CCI Camera City. Avoid them both. I called up to buy the body of a camera because I only need the canon body because I have lenses. Max who also appears to work at CCI Camera City tried to sell me compact flash card at only 400% markup. I told him that I didn't need it. He put me on hold. I wish I had heard of this site ahead of time. Avoid Royal Camera, they are overpriced.

Odered Canon Rebel XT body. Got no response after 6 days. Called and was told it didn't come with a battery, and for a mere $189 extra I could get the battery. Avoid these people.

I found this site through google,and i look and they have a really good deal on a vx2100. So i buy the camera , hours later i get a email sayin call this number to confirm i do, and they start telling me its a JAPAN model and that it comes with no warranty,shorter cables or something like that, and everything is in Japanese (and i have to send it to sony for it to be put into english) so i say i will call them back. I call sony and they have NO CLUE what i am talking about, I call royal camera back the guy says oh you have to call sony international im like whatever i want to cancel my order that hasnt been processed yet, then he starts saying its 5% restocking fee and he has charge 300 usd to cancel im like WHAT u didnt even proccess. So i am calling my credit card company and telling them whats up well see how this ends.SO watch out for them. AND they didnt say anything about this on their site.

I live in Copenhagen Denmark/Europe and ordered some lenses from Royal Camera. They sent two wrong (not so expensive)lenses, admited the mistake - but refused to take them back and send me the right ones.

watchout for rony SHy! these guys are scammers. they charge you outrageous prices for low-end nikon stuff. they tell you a shipping charge of 15$ then when you return the items they tell you its a 7% restocking fee and a higher fee for shipping. these people are rude and complete scammers. BEWARE!!!!

The website has misleading prices which turn out to be prices for "overseas models" that probably never ship anyway. They scam you into buying the "USA model" and tell you that you need to buy things that really already come with the camera.  
They quoted me a price to be charged to my card and when I received the invoice it was $100 more and included an outdated rebate form for $100. They had never mentioned a rebate and flat out lied about the anount charged to my card.  
I need not go on since you can Google Royal Camera (AKA Camera City, Inc.; CCI Camera City; The Camera Source, Inc.; TCS Camera) and find literally hundreds of reports like this.

I ordered a Panasonic PV-GS250 from their website. They didn't send a confirmation email, but Larry called me a few hours later to confirm my address. He started trying to sell me a case and I told him I had already ordered accessories from another website. He laughed at me. Then he told me that I had ordered the international version of the camera, which didn't come with a battery or any accessories at all. He said the instructions and labels on the camera were all in Chinese and it would take 5 weeks to get it! He said they could ship the US version today, but it cost $300 more. Realizing that I was being taken by a bait and switch scam, I asked him to cancel my order. I found this store through froogle.com. It had the lowest price for the camera, but now I know why.

I've purchased my Canon EOS 20D and my order was immediately processed. Accurate packing and fast shipping. Will definitely shop here again. Of course after some bargaining had been done.

In the past I would never leave comments for any typr of business. However there is always a first for everything. After searching through website after website for the best prices on the new Nikon Coolpix 8800, I stumbled across the royal camera website. I couldn't believe the prices were this good. So I decided to call them directly, and realized that even though the representatives were a bit pushy with the accesories, overall I felt that I came out with a much better deal than I thought I would get. And it was shipped next day air to my house. Thank you Royal Camera.

I don't think I ever expierienced such a friendly organization like Royal Camera. The prices were great. Even after almost a year my purchase is still working like it was the first day I got it. Plus I got a free 1GB memory card and a free camera bag as a token of their apperciation, because I'm such a valued customer.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! Very dishonest. They would not cancel my order when I asked them - I had to cancel with my credit card company. The camera didn't even come with a battery - -they wanted to charge me $200 extra for it!

Long story... Advice: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ROYAL CAMERA. They would not cancel my order even as they were trying to upsell me. The $1849 camera & kit that I wanted to purchase, $2796.91 charged to my credit card... I file a complaint with the FBI...

Just had a phone call from the FBI, agent stated to have anyone that has a complaint to file it at:  
WWW.IFCCFBI.GOV Ths is the FBI's internet fruad complaint center. Agent stated that if enough people complain they will take action. Please file a complaint with the amount that you were ripped off for. Individually, the amount is too low, but together our total $$'s will expose them as the organized crime operation that they are...  
defrauding thousands of people, millions of dollars.

I will warn everyone about this rotten firm! Too bad I didn't know about this website first! We also purchased a NikonD70S and after talking to the Nikon rep we found the warranty was bogus since the camera was a resale from overseas and they won't touch it in US! The serial number on the camera was the Nikon reps clue. They are charging us 25% of the camera because we are returning it. And, I can ditto everything everyone else has said about the additional dollars they will steal from you when it's sold by Nikon as a kit!!!!
