I usually get my HiMD discs from my friend's camera store. Their supplier was slow delivering and I was running low and decided to try this company. I e-mailed asking if they would mind shipping via UPS/FedEx (which they offer) since my friend's store will accept my packages and gets shipments every day. They responded very quickly (literally with hours) and said they would ship to my credit card address (which is a P O box and only the USPS delivers to P O boxes). i'd have preferred the better UPS/FedEx tracking, but decided to give them a shot. It was sent USPS Priority the same day and got to me in 4 days from their posting the order. Their online site listed the HiMD discs were in stock and they were. Many stores do not stock the discs because HiMD is not that common and this place shipped them out same day. Very easy ordering and the price was very competitive. Oddly enough the online store's site listed "no record" of the order, but it was all on the USPS site. I assume if it shipped via UPS or FedEx it would have shown up on the store's tracking site. Other than that tiny point, I'm quite pleased and happy I gave them a shot. They stock some stuff my friend's store can't get so I'm sure I'll give them some more of my business.

I just received this order today (11-07-06) and was very disappointed in the packing procedures.
Both DVD "spindles" were broken so severely that they're useless for storage now. All but one (scratched by loose plastic chards from the breakage) of the blank DVD's appear to be OK, but that's not the point.
The packaging department should be more careful in the future. We know to expect a little roughness from UPS, but there was virtually no protection in terms of bubble wrap (extremely minimal) or any other cushioning method.
All of the problems that we encountered with the order were subsequently resolved. In fact they worked hard to follow up on the issues. Turns out to have been simply a miscommun ication. These things happen and they took care of it.

Purchased 10 of the Bryco Midi DV cases. This was the best price I found on the web for this item, and the item arrived very quickly. Now, over a month later, while sorting & putting tapes into these new cases I found that the clasp on one was not molded correctly such that the case will not stay shut. I called TapeAndMedia.com's toll free number and was connected immediately with someone who offered to send me a replacement case along with a prepaid label to use to return the defective case. This is beyond their stated 30-day return limit; much better service than I have received from other eRetailers.
First order placed 7-3-06, recieved 7-7-06. Invoice # T6345058. Great service via phone contact, great service via shipping. Re-ordered exact same item & qty on 8-14-06. Invoice # T636680. Received today, 8-17-06. Again , great phone and shipping service. As the need araises again, which I'm sure it will---------I'll do exactly the same things over. Thanks for great service.

After price-shopping and comparing, I found that Tape and Media had the best prices for my product. I purchased the clamshell CD storage cases. When they arrived, I was extremely satisfied to find them all intact, none broken or damaged. It was a great price to pay and I got just what I was looking for.
