Absolutely the worst customer service! I ordered a wireless home entertainment system which they stated was completely wireless!!!!! Well come to find out it is not! So they tell me that they will give me a 100% refund! So I return it and of course they charge me a 15% restocking fee! What a bunch of lies! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!

Customer service is very important to us. We promise and guarantee that products, unless clearly marked otherwise, are factory sealed. We agreed to waive the restocking fee if the product could legitimately been sold as new. Unfortunately, when we received the product back it was not only opened but the packaging had been both cut and ripped. If you have any questions please call us at 800 663 5255.

Ordered a Sony SAL-2470Z lens and VG-C90AM grip on 12/15 for shipment on 12/16 and overnite delivery on 12/17. Their website said both items were in stock.
Late afternoon 12/16, I noticed that order was still in "processing" status, so I did an online chat with a CSR. Told first that the grip was in a different location than the lens, and then a few minutes later told that grip was out of stock and now too late in the day to ship the lens. They should have called me so that I could have at least had the lens on time. I told them to cancel the grip and ship the lens the next day. After the chat, I checked their website - grip still shown as in stock.
Early afternoon on 12/17, I called to confirm that lens would ship that day (which is now 1 day late). I called because online status still "processing". Told that lens has been picked and packed at the warehouse and is waiting for FedEx to pickup. However, 4 hours later I get a phone call saying lens was on their truck in transit between stores, and delayed due to snowstorm-related traffic accident. Get a promise that it will ship the next day (2 days late).
Morning of 12/18, I check online status. It says "backordered", which may just be an indicator that it's in transit between their stores. I do think they would have shipped that day. But I didn't feel like calling again, and then waiting another day to see if it would ship, so I gave up, called to cancel the order, and went to a local store and paid a bit more to get both the lens and grip in my hands.
I had no sense at all of any dishonest intent or communication - I just think that they and their systems did not know what they had in stock, nor did they know where the stock was located.

They are terrible. I ordered a Sharp Aquos lcd TV . It arrived inoperable and the only way they would replace it, was for me to pay to ship it back. Absolutely unacceptable. Would never buy here again!!!!

How much can one order be messed up?
I will never order anything at onecall again. It all started with me ordering a Panasonic Lumix digital camera that I wanted to use during my vacation. I ordered on a Saturday via phone and told the guy that I needed the camera on Friday (my vacation started on the following Saturday). I paid 3$ extra or so for a guaranteed 3-day Fedex delivery. On Thursday (!) I got an e-mail saying that they needed a credit card with a US billing address to process my order. There's 2 great things about that:
1. I can use my german credit card everywhere else, why not here?
2. Why are they telling me that 5 days after my order when I needed a guaranteed 3-day delivery?
OK, that meant no camera during my vacation. I told them that they should delay the order for a week so that it doesn't arrive while I'm away.
After I returned I got an e-mail saying that the camera was shipped with Fedex (remember? Guaranteed 3-day delivery). 4 days later I wondered why it didn't arrive, checked the website and it said "Delivered yesterday". My wife was at home the whole day and is absolutely certain no one tried to deliver it. OK this wasn't a big deal, 2 days later we found out that the Fedex guy left the package at our managers' office, without leaving a notice. Not really well planned, but OK, now we got the camera. Onecall on the other hand didn't provide any help at all locating that camera. They also weren't interested in it, they just said "Fedex delivered it to your appartment, the rest is not our problem".
OK, on it goes: The only reason I ordered that camera through onecall and not a GOOD store like amazon was that I had a $200 gift certificate for onecall. I think you can guess that they took the whole amount from my checking account. Which is really bad if you put only a limited amount of money on your checking account and the rest on your savings account and then are shopping for groceries and aren't able to pay for them... Well, fortunately in this case my german credit card worked!
So, right now, 1 month after my initial order I am still waiting for the $200 refund for the gift certificate. In this month I had to call ONEcall about TEN times and still they were not able to give me my money back.
My only advise is: NEVER buy ANYTHING at onecall

Item was advertised as "in stock" and purchase was confirmed as "in stock". The next day, the order was canceled by OneCall because they actually have no stock.
If you want an item - don't trust their "in stock" claims!

Wanted to order 2 umbrellas for flashes, the website said "in stock". I called them on the phone just to be make sure that they do have them. The salesman told me that they were and would be shipped out the same day. Placed the order over the phone and later found out through the online tracking that the order is in "backorder" status. Called their customer service and was told that do not be alarmed about the backorder status since they are being shipped from a retail store and assured me that the order will be shipped out the same day. Later during that night, the status was changed to "in processing". But the following day changed back to "backorder" again. Called their customer service again, another person told me that they are in backordered and it would take a week to receive them. I told him that I was given a conflicting information the day before. He took down my # and said would find out from the salesman & call me back but never did. I was forced to pay overnight shipping through ordering from another company just so that I can receive them by the end of the work week. I would never trust these people again on what they have or don't have in stock.
In response to Onecall's 5/7/08 reply: First off, you should train your customer service reps better so they aren't giving out conflicting information to their customers. Second, there's no use to further communicate as I already overnighted the same items from another company. Lastly, would anyone had ever called me back and explained the situation should I not posted a negative review about your shop? I highly doubt it. Consider doing that BEFORE the customer cancelled out the order, not after. Bottomline, you lose my business this time and possibly any future purchases. I placed my order for a very nice power conditioner at a great price, and used Paypal (since I prefer the security of using it). When I called yesterday to check on the status of my order, I was told that since I had used Paypal, there was a chance that they might run out of stock before it was processed. I was told that I should pay with a credit card to avoid this. This obviously upset me, since nowhere on their site does it state that orders are not reserved when using Paypal. Since I wasn't happy to find this out, I went ahead and cancelled my order. I then saw today that the money had been taken from my bank account, and it may take 3 or 4 days for it to be refunded. If they had just clearly stated their Paypal policy on their site, this could have been avoided. As it stands now, I am left with a less than positive impression about OneCall, and am without my $248 for several days. Oh well, live and learn I suppose...

I order a Sony DCR-SR82 60GB Hard Drive Camcorder, which was never delivered. I used Google Checkout, and OneCall claimed that the product was sold out while Google Checkout submitted the order to OneCall. The did not offer any alternative product, and insisted that they did not make any mistake. I personally assume that the product was never in stock, and that they used misleading advertisement to lure customers.
Don't buy from them!

Horrible customer service. Shipped me a defective LCD tv and would not take it back until I waited for Samsung tech's to verify it could not be repaired. In the case that it could be repaired, I would have to be stuck with a tv that may or may not break again. For tv's, look elsewhere.

ONECALL should be called NO-CALL.
I ordered some vital parts for one of my projects in Southern Ca. and figured that they were at least on the West Coast (rather than 4electronicwarehouse.com , my previous supplier, that's in Illinois), so that might save some precious shipping time. I needed these things fast.
The website quoted about the same price as them, and said they were in stock, so I called. Their recorded hype talked about how fast and accurate they were, and how much they cared for their customers. Man, that was HYPER-hype!
I'd ordered it before their daily cut-off time for shipping, so had it sent by 2nd-day air, as it was much cheaper than overnight. It should have arrived by Thursday, well in time for my installation deadline.
Well, Thursday passed with no delivery, so I was anxious to get it on Friday. FRIDAY AFTERNOON, some bored customer disservice guy calls me to inform me that "there's been a delay in your order - we only have 3 of them in stock."
OK. The website was wrong about their stock numbers. That happens sometimes. Fine.
But they (1) didn't process the order until Wednesday, even though I was well before the cut-off time on Tuesday, and (2) TOOK UNTIL FRIDAY TO CALL ME AND TELL ME THIS!
When I practically screamed at the guy, he gave me the canned apology, as if he'd heard such rants a hundred times before. Well, he probably had.
If monoprice, 4electronicwarehouse, and newegg can actually process their orders on time, ship on time and call their customers instantly... why can't these guys?
Avoid like the Black Death of 1347 A.D.
Trust me, there's LOTS better places to deal with.

Do NOT buy a TV from these guys!! If you want a TV go else where. They don't know how to ship or package it!! Go to another seller if you can. I purchased the 52" LCD (kdl052xbr2) from Onecall which is a $3500 TV and the TV got shipped to me damaged TWICE! First time it was returned (I didn't accept it) and they sent another and that one was damaged as well with poor packaging. After the 2nd time they said all they could do is refund my money. No compensation or replacement. What a waste of time. If its important do NOT buy from these guys. Buy at your own risk, seriously! This review was modified by its author, davidl78, on

This company is the one of the worst company I have ever had to work with. It is a very unprofessional company to place an order with. I have had a very terrible experience with “Onecal.com”. Please be aware of this company. In-fact I will say, “Stay away from this company”.
I placed a Samsung LCD 40inch Television order through onecall.com. When I placed an order their price was higher than other companies but there delivery time was earlier than others therefore I placed an order. This company promised me that they will deliver the Television in 1 to 2 weeks.
I followed up with onecall.com on a regular basis for the current status. Instead of helping me and expediting the process, they were threatening me with “Do you want to cancel the order?” I badly want the LCD television that’s why I was very patient with them. After 2 weeks, I called them every day because they could not deliver the Television as they promised. Ultimately after 2-1/2 weeks, onecall.com told me, you will get your television after 2 days between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. I asked them, can you let me know at least 30 minutes prior to arrival, so that I don’t need to take leave and sit at home. Onecall.com people were so unprofessional that they simply refused and said our company policy does not allow that.
I took leave and the whole day I was just waiting for the delivery person. On delivery day, I called this company at least 2 times and complained that still I have not got the television. Onecall.com simply said we can’t help you with this. Late evening around 6:00 PM I got a call from the delivery truck that they were coming in the next 30 minutes. The delivery person kept the television on the road and told me we that they were not allowed delivering the Television at customers places of residence. All alone I took the television to my place which was quite a distance from where they dropped it off. What a terrible experience I had!
The bottom line, onecall.com is the worst company that I have ever done business with. It is not at all a dependable company. I wish I had read this fine print on the site before I ordered. My suggestion is don’t make same mistake that I did. Never ever place an order with onecal.com

Dubious security requirements and poor communication. Order placed on Monday. Called on Tuesday and they said order was shipping that day. Called on Wedneseday for tracking and am told order failed their Security check with no further explanation. Manager Stephanie stated that they really don't care to get an order due to their low margin.

I ordered a pair of Refurb Monitor 30 speakers from Onecall. On the 12th, I get home and I see no package, I go online and track via FedEx my shipment, and I see it says "delivered, left on porch". Well, there is no package to be found anywhere. I call FedEx and I am told by the driver she left it at my door. Well, I have no idea if it was misdelivered, or it was stolen, just that I have no Speakers.
I than call Onecall and explain my situation. Wow, I get a smart alec CSR who to my every question regarding if Onecall will help me out, says, "Did you click the Sig Waiver button?" Now I the very 1st time I said I did, yet every time I asked a question, he kept responding in a mocking tone, "Did you click the Sig waiver?" Now, how many times do I have to tell him I did??
Now this package is insured (Packages are Auto insured up to $100), and they are the ones who have to submit the claim, yet they refuse and just mock me. This is the 1st time something like this has ever happened (not receiving package) and Onecall made no effort to help me out, quite the opposite, just made a bad experience much worse.
Clearly I will never buy another item from them, and I am working on a chargeback from my credit card.

I ordered a camera, memory card, and batteries with a charger. I got my email with the invoice. Everything is looking good so far. Well when I received the package all i got was the memory card and the batteries. It says the camera have been backorder canceled. Why would I want the accessories and no camera. Not to mention that this is supposed to be a Christmas gift. I did not receive an email or phone call stating that the camera was out of stock. They even had the nerve to charge me the same shipping cost without the camera. Well I'm going to have to squeeze time in to buy a camera from a store (if any in stock) and go to FEDEX to return the package. I will not be ordering from onecall in the future. I don't need to deal with this inconvenience again. This review was modified by its author, KingNY, on
