I have expericenced the worst customer service ever. I have spent over 1 and 1/2 hrs over the phone and still haven't resloved. They kept transferring me around. My credit card was charged but someone from dell requested to have the package shipped it back to sender for the reason "fraudulent activity". How could that happen?. Didn't they verify before shipping out the package. The customer service was really bad, 99.999% I had no idea what they were talking because the call center is located in india. I will never purchase anything from dell again. I rather pay more but receive better customer service than dell. I hope to get my refund back soon then close all my accounts associated with dell.
Ordered two Corsair HX Power Supplies (750hx and 1000hx) due to an awesome deal that Dell had for a short period of time. The price was the factor in my purchase. The shipping speed was fast and the PSUs were well packaged. However, when I ordered the PSUs in just one order, I later decided that the two PSUs should be shipped in separate boxes. I email customer support on the same day. It was only after I received my product that I received a response from them. I hope that in the future, that the response time is much quicker.

I have done business with dell before; bought a laptop and a pda from them...way back. the customer support is totally useless. Understanding the "help', "steps", etc impairs the experience. I would never buy a computer from Dell ever again. For other stuff, Dell does a good job.
We ordered the Panasonic VIERA TCL37S1 37" LCD television from Dell. Before we attempted to set it up, we were awaiting for a screen protector.
In opening the box, come to find out that the the TV was damaged. The next morning, my husband called Dell, spoke to one agent and then her supervisor.
Given that we didn't respond with 21 days since ordering (1 week for shipping to Ak.) but less than 30 days, they would not honor an exchange. Tough luck! And to long-time customer of their computers!
So now, we're taking this up with our CC company.
Word of advice: Upon receiving your merchandise via UPS or FEDEX, ask them to wait while you open the box to see that no damage has occurred physically and even if the box looks fine (ours did.)
Immediately hook up your merchandise to make certain it works. You only have 21 days from the time you hit "confirm order" to do this.
Ultimately, I would say to just save yourself the grief. These crooks do not deserve having customers.
I ordered a Dell color laser 2130cn printer with duplexer on 7/5/2009. The next day the duplexer shipped. A couple of days later, I received an e-mail stating that my order got canceled. I called up Dell to check what happened, and after talking to 4 or 5 people, they finally told me that it was canceled due to a pricing error on their web site. I told them to get UPS to intercept the duplexer before it was delivered and to refund me my money. They told me I wouldn't get my refund until they received the duplexer. The duplexer was returned to Dell on 7/23/09 and they still didn't refund me my money yet. They told me the refund wouldn't be processed until they confirmed the duplexer was returned, even though the UPS tracking # showed that they received it on 7/23/09! Finally on 8/8/09, I e-mailed them that I wasn't going to wait any longer and would file a dispute with the credit card company and they refunded my money on that day. Needless to say, I will not do business with Dell again.
I ordered a Fasttrack Dell Inspiron 15 on July 29th. I was told that it would ship the next day (July 30th) and that I would have it by August 5th. I only ordered the Fasttrack model because I needed it to arrive ASAP and could not wait for a custom unit to arrive. Today is August 3rd and it still has not shipped! The status since July 31 has been "In Production", which is strange since I ordered a pre-built unit. I have spoken with multiple people at Dell, all of which have been less than helpful. I am told that they do not know why it has not shipped, cannot tell me when it will ship, and will not get it to me by the promised date of August 5th. I am told that it will be over a week from now before I can expect it to arrive. Again, I have spoken to every customer service representative that I can find, their manager, and the sales agent who I bought the system from. None of them have been helpful or have made any effort to fix this for me. This is my first Dell purchase and I do not plan to deal with them again. They will not let me cancel my order at this point, even though the unit has not shipped, but I plan to return it when it arrives based on their lack of customer service and misleading information.

Dell screws up and in the mean time I ordered spared batteries for the camera, and Dell instead of cancelling RIGHT away delayed shipment twice, then cancel. Terrible way to do business. I have lodged a complaint with the BBB

Beware of Dell computers! Dell customer service is the worst of any company I have ever dealt with. They speake broken English at best and are very rude with no compassion for the customer. The Dell computer I purchased was not as advertised and a complete waste of money. Do not waste your time and money on a Dell. You will be sorry.
I used to purchase quite a bit from Dell in the past but NEVER AGAIN. They have the worst customer service and have transferred all of their reps to India.
Ive purchased several items only to have coupons denied for no reason, and then receive multiple broken items from Dell again and again.
Trying to call in for support is futile as the Indian reps barely understand english and are very rude at times, and expect to be transferred several times during your call and put on hold indefinitely.
They dont care about customers any more and treat you like garbage and their quality in computers has plummeted as well.
I've ordered a Samsung LCD, and in a separate order, a DS Lite and adjoining travel kit. I got a great deal on both and am very happy with Dell's service. Both orders were processed quickly, and Dell's site kept things up to date. The orders were sent to UPS next day; UPS shipping was also fast. Products were in perfect condition (LCD had no dead pixels). Very happy, I would definitely order from Dell again.
I have bought 5800 TouchScreen Nokia phone from Dell and today is 27th July 2009 and my phone screen is gone. It shows the screen damage and guess what I never ever dropped it.There is no outside screen damage, its internal.I am very very disappointed.

My original purchase date was on june 3 over the phone with dell sales team. At this time the sales rep told me and my father that the order would be shipped within 7-10 business days. A month later on the 2nd of july I finally received the order. This mini had some issues with the wireless and bluetooth working. I called and spoke to technical support where I spoke with some indian fellow who could not speak english for over two hours at which he told me to restore the entire hard drive to fix the problem. I did so and it still did not fix the problem so I returned the netbook and made a new order for a different notebook. When I made the order I was very unpleased and complained about the entire situation at which I was told my order would be sent to a special department and the shipping would be refunded on the order. I was also told that I would be called within 48 hours to let me know that it had taken place. I was never called. I then called on the 13th because I looked online and the shipping had not been refunded. The man refused to help me and said I was denied the refund and there was nothing they could do. He would do nothing for me and turned me away. IF you are considering ordering from dell or from there dell financing department I would strongly suggest going somewhere else they have been the WORST experience I have ever had with a company!!!
Years ago I was a loyal Dell customer, but stopped buying from them when their exported their customer service. I thought I'd give them another change by buying a monitor. Well, their service has gone from bad to laughably dismal. It's like a Saturday Night Live parody of customer service. I tried to get a simple question answered, and spent more than an hour getting disconnected from automatic phone trees, getting disconnected from "chat" sessions, and hanging up on outsourced "customer service representatives" who only speak enough English to read off the script on the screen in front of them. It's pathetic. AVOID BUYING FROM DELL.
