Ordered the Pioneer Pro-111FD plasma TV and Pioneer BDP-05FD Blu Ray from Mr. Roman on the 12th of Jan. Delivery was made on the 19th of Jan...one day ahead of schedule. The TV came in perfect condition with no issues at all. The blu ray player came practically crushed from the carrier. I snapped a few pictures of it and sent them to Mr. Roman. After looking at the pictures he decided he wouldn't trouble me with returning the player. Instead he just told me to toss it in the trash and had a new one sent out 3 day UPS. Awesome customer service.

It was slightly more than the cheapest and riskiest places, but much cheaper than other reliable places. It shipped out quickly and arrived before schedule in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier.

I live in midtown NYC, was looking to buy a Pioneer 111FD, and trying to get a great price along with responsible and reliable service. Initial Internet searches offered lots of “bargain prices” but high risk in the service category. Noticing at avsforum that a fellow named Roman was getting high praise as a seller, I decided to check him out. Glad I did! His price was price low and his performance, flawless.  
 
I called Roman late in the day on New Year’s Eve. He was knowledgeable about his products and despite the time of day, patiently gave me clear and informed answers to all my questions. The 111FD unit was already in his possession and he said he could ship it promptly. (He told me he could do this because he buys several pieces at a time directly from Pioneer.) I also asked who does the delivery and he told me he uses Pilot Freight Services. Before placing the order I checked them out. They’re a top tier outfit specializing in heavy loads.  
 
I made the purchase and Roman sent me an invoice the next business day that included a link to Pilot’s tracking system.  
 
A week later a Pilot dispatcher called me from Kennedy Airport the day before delivery to check my contact number. When the truck arrived at 11 AM on delivery day I called Roman just as the delivery guy rolled the packing box into my apartment building lobby. I wanted him to be on hand at inspection time and Roman quickly obliged. I had previously asked him to make sure the box was sent in pristine condition so it would be easier to check out at my end. Even though the packing box—now in my lobby—was still in pristine condition, Roman insisted I open the box to check that the panel was not cracked during shipment—a rare event, but you never know. All was well.  
 
Later that day, when I came home from work eager to set the thing up and plug everything in, I found that the panel wouldn’t power up. Afraid that it might be DOA, I called Roman again. Patiently and respectfully, Roman guided me to a pushbutton power switch (hidden!!!) on the lower edge of the unit. (Yup, I’m a four-decades-plus computer expert, but a perennial A/V newbie!) After that, smooth sailing…..  
 
Bottom line: All detail above to simply say that I am totally satisfied with Roman and his handling of this transaction. I highly recommend him to other buyers.
