I ordered Focus contacts online from DecorMyEyes.com. I received an email from them saying they were processing my order and that they would notify me when they shipped. 4 days later, my credit card had still not been charged, so I went to their website and spoke to a representative via their 'live chat'. She informs me that my order has been canceled because "They don't sell contacts yet". WHAT?! They are on their website with no notice of this of any kind, plus they didn't notify me that my order had been canceled. She said "we didn't charge your card", but that doesn't help me when I actually NEED my contact lenses, and I think they have been ordered. If I had know it was canceled I would have ordered them from someone else! Absolutely insane and unacceptable!

Good day, I been meaning to write you this message to let you know how happy and satisfied I am with the 2 pair of designer glasses I purchased from your company, to be quite honest I was very impressed and surprised to see how honest and upfront you were when first informed me that one of the frames were damaged and gave the opportunity to choose another frame specially when I was a bit hesitant in buying over the internet for the first time, not only you gave me the chance to decide whether to choose another frame but also a discount for future purchases and once I made up my mind I received my glasses in a prompt and professional manner and that I truly appreciate, I have mentioned the situation to my relatives and they all know how difficult I can be when it comes to being happy with a purchase made, I want to thank all your staff for the assistance provided, keep up the great job and most definitely will purchase from your company in the future.

11/08/2008 Well the complaint went nowhere. They did contact the seller "Stanley" and said he was very uncooperative. They then said there was nothing they could do if the seller was not willing to work something out. I asked why and they told me because he was a internet seller. I don't think there is anything anybody can do. This guy is out there continuing to rip people off and he has over 40 complaints by the BBB and nobody cares.  
 
 
 
 
Well Anonymous, I took your advice and filed a complaint with NY consumer affairs. I have just sent off all the info that I have to support my case. I seriously doubt if I will get anything back but it really makes me mad that this guy is still out there ripping people off. There were 15 pages of complaints on the purse forum website before somebody closed the thread, what a shame I wish they hadn't done that, there was a lot of very useful info on those pages especially his other store names and ebay info. Oh well hopefully people will flock here.  
 
I wish I would of searched for reviews before I bought from "Stanley". I sent my 500.00 pair of glasses in for a repair and never heard anything when they received them. I had to email them all along to find out what was going on with my glasses and finally after they were fixed they sent me a email saying my invoice was ready and that after I paid they would send a tracking code so I could watch my shipment. I never received any email after I paid and sent at least 5 emails with no answer. Finally I called and they put me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on me. When I called back an answering machine said to leave a message. I then sent another email, no reply. I called a few days later fairly early in NY and somebody answered and put me on hold for over 10 minutes. Finally they transferred me to the almighty "Stanley" and he said my order had been lost and didn't I remember him telling me that lol. Nobody ever informed me my order was lost and now he said he is having the lab sent me a check for 25.00 for my 500.00 pair of glasses that were broke but I probably could of had them repaired here in my own town. I seriously think all his testimonial reviews are fake and he and his friends sit around and make up posts, I would never buy from this guy again. He said he gave me a credit back for the repair and warranty that I had paid for but I haven't check that out just yet. I am so upset with this place. Buyers beware!!!

WORST COMPANY EVER. Just because I canceled the order he was trying to charge me 20% restocking fee. AND call me like 20 times so I just turned off my phone. STANLEY IS HIS NAME. And he is so racist...this is his email remarks.

Stay away. This guy has bombarded me with rude and threatening e-mails. When I told him I ordered from another site he sent an e-mail telling me I got ripped off because they were the smae fakes he'd sell me and they only cost $35. 'AHHHHH" His website says all glasses are authentic, but obviously he sells fakes to people. He needs to be shut down!!!

Saw the reviews unfortunately after the fact that I already placed the order. No invoice number was provided! No email of receipt was ever sent to me. I called the merchant first thing in the morning the next day to check on he status of my so called order. The associate who helped me was rude and very frank with me. I asked about my order and was first told that oh ya it's there no worries and that a email will be sent to u in a few min. I called back to make sure they had my prescription, because i had placed an order for the lens on the frame i was purchasing. I was told yes we have that, and I asked to confirm that the prescription was correct. They put me on hold for awhile pretending to look for it, and then told me to fax or scan it and send it to them. Are you kidding me!?!?!?! I said I don't have the tools to do that, and so they said they will go ahead and cancel the order and for me to replace the order online. I thought forget it, if i'm already going through all these issues and they're being rude to me. So i never replaced the order and I called back to confirm the cancellation, and had someone else call in for me to also confirm the cancellation. Well what do you know they call me back 3 days later to confirm cancellation on the order. Then the day after that I ahd the pleasure of Mr. Stanley Bolds call me. First thing he says when he calls me is "what's up" how unprofessional. I mean come on who does he think he is my friend? Anyhow... then he goes on telling me that they already charged me for it and the frames just came in. Funny when i placed the order it was for rush order next day delivery which they would've charged me for frames that were not in stock. BS i tell u. So i call my credit card company to dispute this FRAUD! Never ever will i do business with FRAUDS like these people ever again! Please be WARNED! DO NOT BUY FROM DECORMYEYES!!! a bunch of BULL!

First off, no invoice #s were ever provided for the purchase. I never received an email immediately after purchase that my payment was received.  
 
This tipped me off that the website is a sham and truly unprofessional.  
 
After, I had a similar experience as YippySkippy where Mr. Bolds emailed me saying that the glasses I ordered were out of stock & that the ones he had were damaged. Then he proceeded to haggle me into purchasing a different pair at a discount.  
 
I politely declined and asked him to give me a full refund. From there he proceeded to berate me over several emails calling me "a retard."  
 
Fortunately, I have not been threatened to the point like some other customers, but I have never seen an online retailer treat its customers in such a way.  
 
I am appalled and willing to go on every site to make sure that no one buys from Stanley Bolds.

I ordered a pair of sunglass and regular glasses from this website. I soon recieved emails that the sunglasses were out of stock and discontinued, and that the frames were damaged and backordered. After waiting three weeks I inquired on the status of the backorder and mentioned that my situation was like a "bait and switch." Stanley Bolds emailed me the following:  
 
"You know when I was in the Police Acedemy I was just like you.  
Every single incident I wanted to lock someone up.  
Everytime I was a pen writting on a wall I wanted to make an arrest for grafitti but I didnt even want to notice the paper that was under the pen  
and didnt want to see the man just mearly using the wall as a board to write on.  
 
Basically you need to take it easy. Nobody is out to get you.  
Its my bad on the RALPH yes, havent sold it for 6 months didnt know it was discontinued  
Shoot and me and sue me :) ahaha  
 
I have refunded you for this item today.  
 
The versace is 100% brand new and authentic and will be going out shortly from the lab  
They are swamped as I gave them excessive amounts of lenses to cut."  
 
This guy is a complete egotistical jerk, and I have never been insulted by a business person before. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS MAN OR WEBSITE! He is rude, a con-man.  
**Update**  
I just received another email from Mr. Bolds quote,  
"You must be a boring person with no sense of humor at all.  
You are a fucking TIGHTASS is what you are.  
I hate people like you.  
I would pull a chair out in front of you if I can and have you slam your head on the cold concrete  
 
I HATE YOU>"  
 
Unless you want to receive emails like this when ordering glasses, do not buy from this man.

I e-mailed to ask a question about an item and after I received a response, I was added to their list and received spam e-mail from them. I asked to be removed from their e-mail list and they responded "go fuck yourself." He also used the "n" word and told me he had a big penis. I was horrified. He is still e-mailing insults to me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
