Bought a Canon 18-55mm IS lens from them because it was OOS at most other major retailers; The order was shipped promptly but received a Canon 18-55mm USM II instead, a lens worth roughly half of the lens that I did order.
I called customer support and they were very apologetic but they were out of the 18-55mm IS lens. Originally the refund amount didn't include the shipping cost I originally paid, but a quick phone call quickly fixed that. This review was modified by its author, pawong, on

This is my second time shopping at BPAV. Very smooth transactions. Normally shipped same day. Even the free UPS ground shipping was very fast. There was no hiden fee, up sells or anything like that.
I sent back a Canon lens for exchange but forgot to take the UV filter off. After received the new one, called back about the filter. They found it and sent back to me for free. Very helpful.

10/24 7:45 AM: I emailed BPAV with questions about product (Canon Powershot S5 IS).
10/24 9:30 AM: I received response email that directly answered my questions.
10/24 1:00 PM: I placed order online for Canon PowerShot S5 IS and received confirmation of order from BPAV via email.
10/24 5:00 PM: I received email from BPAV stating product had shipped and giving me a UPS tracking number. UPS showed that product had in fact shipped.
10/25 11:15: AM Order was delivered at my house in the Indianapolis area (BPAV is in Cleveland, OH area).
Product was exactly as ordered, in manufacturer's packaging, with all accessories and USA warranty. There was no attempt to up sell or add accessories. I could not have asked for a smoother transaction, and the fast shipping was a nice bonus.

Over a week later, and I have not received this order! You could walk from the stores location in Ohio to Chicago in that time period! This is shameful service for an internet store. Note: the company lists my order as fulfilled, Ha, what a joke.

This was my third order from BPAV as the first two went well. I ordered a Canon Lens. I received a confirmation email when the order was placed and another email when the item was shipped with tracking information. I received the lens 3 days later, 5 days before it was scheduled to arrive. This is the way a buying experience should be.

"If you don't receive your package, it's not our problem, but the problem with USPS."-this is what I got from their customer service after waiting 16 business days after I placed the order. At the time when I'm writing this, I still haven't received my order yet. The girl at their customer service even showed attitude and never said sorry for this delay.

I had previously never heard of BPAV. Based on their low price and excellent rating I chose to order my Magellan Explorist 600 from them. As was expected my unit arrived on time today with everything it was suppose to contain. I have just spent an enjoyable evening reading manuals, looking over the product, loading software and in general being just a happy as a kid on Christmas morning. What a great pleasure to deal with a company that delivers as promised. That's really all I ever wanted.

Most unprofessional e-tailor I have ever seen in my life. Go with a known name like amazon, do not bother with bestaudiovideo.com. I have placed an order and got a confirmation and thank you email. I got no tracking number in 4 days and called the guys. A rather rude customer rep told me that the order was cancelled and he had no idea why, and the rep who cancelled the order was sick that day. Although they had a competitive price on the item that I ordered, is not worth the trouble. These type of e-tailors should be off-lined.

First they told me that they had the camcorder in stock,I placed the order,then I got an email saying that there was aproblem with my AMEX card (I have been a member for 30+ yrs and I never ever had a problem at all with AMEX!) .I suspected right away that they did not have the camcorder in stock and when I inquired about it....bingo! they DO NOT have it.Customers are not really that stupid !.

Ordered camera from them, called to verify it when it would be shipped, got real person on the phone right away. Camera came quickly, had no trouble with manufacturer rebate since they are an authorized dealer.

email communication was subpar to start with although my cc was charged right away. one month later and after several phone calls still didn't receive anything but conflicted messages of either having package delivered to a wrong location or returned back to bpav or not having my correct shipping address, which by the way was totally correct in the initial confirmation email and re-confirmed verbally everytime when called in! i sure hope this is totally an isolated incident ... but it is not for me anymore. Ordered 1/24, received 1/29. received email indicating there was some issue I needed to call about concerning billing. Immediately thought I was going to get the "up sale" treatment... However, I was pleasantly surprised, after calling, and speaking to Bob, that I had received the email in error and that my order was already in shipping. Received ordered products in perfect condition. Overall, vary satisfactory experience.

There was an initial 1 day delay due to some problem confirming my billing info. After that, they shipped immediately. I got the item very quickly, and in perfect condition. Their price neat everybody else on the Internet. I'm glad they are security conscious even though it delayed my order a little.

I have ordered a "Canon EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM Lens" and after a confirmation mail BPAV sends nothing, no email, no item, no notification about any problems, nothing.
