I ordered a mio 300. for three days I tried to get confirmation on the order with no luck Finally some one wrote me and said it was not ordered so I ordered it again. the following day I get an e mail telling me its not available. So I purchased a different unit from someone else. I was not satisfied with the service.
Beware. Will charge you 20 percent restocking if you have to return even a DEFECTIVE item. Slow delivery if not paying premium delivery fee (took 2 weeks). Will not shop from this retailer again.

This order was for one of the very popular Pure Digital Flip Video pocket camcorders. Upon it's return it was tested and proved to be working perfectly (we later re-sold the item on eBay and it worked perfectly for that customer as well), but this customer just wanted to send it back for a full refund after he used it, therefore he thought insisting it was defective was his only option. There would have been no restocking fee had the customer just allowed us to exchange it and we were more than willing to exchange the unit for another one, even a different product completely - but we were stonewalled at every attempt to satisfy him. As for the shipping time... not sure where that comes from. Everyone knows BPAV has some of the fastest standard shipping options in the business. I ordered a canon 28-135 IS lens and a 72mm canon uv haze filter from these guys. The filter arrived in what appeared to be USED condition with a smudges and a scratch through it. I called their customer service line and they lady who answered the phone was neither friendly nor helpful. The condition of my lens is suspect as well and I will most likely be sending it to canon for calibration under warranty. I will never purchase another product from BPAV again.
Over a week later, and I have not received this order! You could walk from the stores location in Ohio to Chicago in that time period! This is shameful service for an internet store. Note: the company lists my order as fulfilled, Ha, what a joke.
"If you don't receive your package, it's not our problem, but the problem with USPS."-this is what I got from their customer service after waiting 16 business days after I placed the order. At the time when I'm writing this, I still haven't received my order yet. The girl at their customer service even showed attitude and never said sorry for this delay.
Most unprofessional e-tailor I have ever seen in my life. Go with a known name like amazon, do not bother with bestaudiovideo.com. I have placed an order and got a confirmation and thank you email. I got no tracking number in 4 days and called the guys. A rather rude customer rep told me that the order was cancelled and he had no idea why, and the rep who cancelled the order was sick that day. Although they had a competitive price on the item that I ordered, is not worth the trouble. These type of e-tailors should be off-lined.
First they told me that they had the camcorder in stock,I placed the order,then I got an email saying that there was aproblem with my AMEX card (I have been a member for 30+ yrs and I never ever had a problem at all with AMEX!) .I suspected right away that they did not have the camcorder in stock and when I inquired about it....bingo! they DO NOT have it.Customers are not really that stupid !.
email communication was subpar to start with although my cc was charged right away. one month later and after several phone calls still didn't receive anything but conflicted messages of either having package delivered to a wrong location or returned back to bpav or not having my correct shipping address, which by the way was totally correct in the initial confirmation email and re-confirmed verbally everytime when called in! i sure hope this is totally an isolated incident ... but it is not for me anymore.

I have ordered a "Canon EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM Lens" and after a confirmation mail BPAV sends nothing, no email, no item, no notification about any problems, nothing.
I ordered a set of earphones from this seller on their web site on or about August 13, 2006. I received an email that they were mailed USPS on August 14. I live in St. Paul, Minnesota, so these should have arrived on the 16 or 17th at the latest. I had not received the item on the 18th so I called the seller. They confirmed that the item had been mailed on the 14th. By today, the 21st, the item still had not arrived. I called and could not get any tracing information, or much other help. I was told that they are using a new mailing system "that takes a long time."
I don't think this merchant is at all serious about online commerce. I have lots of experience as an online customer, and I haven't ever encountered a seller with such a lackadaisacal attitude toward a customer's order status.
They do provide live customer service. The people are courteous, but not committed to providing any useful information or help of any sort.
If you need or expect the usual speed, tracking information, or other amenities provided by many online merchants, you'd best order from someone else.

Having bought over $4k in camera gear from them before with no problems decided to use them again {same C.C. and POB}. What a bad choice on my part...
Placed an order for a Canon 20d on Monday {they said it was in stock} , my credit card was charged within 3 hours. For the next two days there was there was no status on there web site, then it said there was a problem with the order and to contact them.
It only took two minutes to get to the a semi rude lady who preceded to go from one excuse to the next mostly trying to blame the credit card company, the final excuse was that they would not ship to a different state then my billing address {my address is a POB} I am a full time RVer and travel a lot. The credit card Co. told me there was no problem with my account and no one had called them. They [bestprice] then took 2 days to credit my account.
Would I buy recommend them or buy form the again no and
h#$% NO.
ORDER ON HOLD- CREDIT CARD CHARGED
Order placed 10/7/05. Received emails 10/10/05 and 10/11/05 saying that my order was on hold "The problem with your order has to do with the information that was given at
the time the order was placed...Because of the large amount of attempted fraudulent credit card
activity coming through our business"- call to clear this up. (While checking my info w/ the credit card company I learned my card had already been charged on 10/10/05!) When I called the BestPriceAudioVideo phone number, the recording said Closed, call back between 10am and 6pm. There may be credit card fraud- but it is BestPriceAudioVideo that is perpetrating it. Of course, if I could be home between 10 and 6 I would not need to be ording off the net late at night.
Note: Exactly the same information was given to HookedOnTronics on the same night. According to UPS tracking, tomorrow I will have surround sound speakers from HookedOnTronics- but nothing to hook them to thanks to BestPricedAudioVideo.
I ordered carrying bag for my laptop. I placed order on Wednesday, but still not ship out(Sat). I do not know how long wlll it take to just pack. Also last time I ordered small bag, it took more than 1week to get my home. I opened the box, and there is no invoice. I do not want to do business with them again.
I bought a camcoder (Canon GL2) from this site. The procurement process was good. The packaging was
good too. But it took 7 calander days to get the product.
While checking the product manual I found 3 items were missing. The customer service lady refused to accept the fact and ended up calling canon USA for it. I DO NOT recomend the store as it do not have after sales service. I will never buy any product from this site.
I ordered a camera, on 18 December, as a Christmas present and paid extra for the two day shipping. My camera arrived after New Years.
I called BestPriceAudioVideo.com and they said that they would refund my extra shipping charges. It is now June and I still have not received the refund. Will not deal with this merchant in the future.
